How To Make A Manual Winch | Homemade Powerful Manual Winch | DIY Winch
Hello Everyone!
Today I show you how to make a manual winch. This homemade winch is a manual operated winch. This diy winch is very powerful. This diy manual winch is very simple to make at home. This diy winch lift is very cheap to make. I used scrap metals to make this diy winch. This homemade manual winch is very small and compact in size. Also this diy winch is less weight so this homemade winch can be very easily portable from one place to another place without any effort. This homemade winch machine is used to lift heavy weight. This homemade manual winch can also be used for heavy duty applications. I used sprockets and chain to increase the torque for this diy winch. I made a ratchet mechanism for this homemade winch. This diy ratchet mechanism is fixed to this homemade manual winch. This diy homemade winch machine may looks simple but it really performs very well. I personally enjoyed myself while making this diy winch build. This homemade manual winch really works good. I hope you guys will enjoy this making of diy homemade manual winch machine build

  • I am following you from the country of Morocco. I have a request if you could show us how to make a feed crushing machine. I do not mean grinding it, but to make the size of the feed smaller and thicker so that chickens and chicks can swallow it easily.

  • Very nice design, Good leverage with speed reduction. I've modified a winch that I bought and added a hex nut. The put a socket on a cordless drill and quickly reel in the cable after use.

  • I must say that I prefer some preamble on a project like this. A brief description of what you are doing and what materials, sizes etc involved. I also prefer to have a project which bolts together than one which is fully welded, it makes for much easier changes to design or parts replacement, but having said that, welded construction is quicker (but dirtier), so perhaps there is a place for it. The fastening of your winch rope is very rough, a wedge and becket would be much better and neater also, even a couple of grub screws would have been better IMHO. Also your rope clamps looked to be installed incorrectly. The U bolt should always go over the rope end which is not loaded, and the loaded end should be fitted to the saddle of the rope clamp. It is good practice to have at least 3 turns left on the drum before any load is applied, better still around 5 turns, so the rope won't pull out of its anchorage as you take up the load. I know that you had more turns on in your demonstration but some of your followers may not be aware of this issue.

  • Instead of the cable clamps drill and tap the shaft for a set screw, like real winches. And the shaft and bearings on the primary side could be reduced in size to decrease cost.

  • There's only a couple of problems with all these DIYs. He doesn't give the dimensions of the metal cuts and widths and other stuff and secondly,,, how many average people has the kind of tools like that lying around to be able to make stuff like that? LOL

    @dawnac6453@dawnac64532 ай бұрын
    • Well I think what this gent is doing is good and it's up to you to decide how big or small that you want to do this hence the measurements, and secondly as tools go use the brain cells and make minor modifications and build it using what u have on hand, myself 3 different welders and different sized grinders so modification away I go, lol, and say instead of welding all together why not drill and bolt it together lol

      @nancycook3733@nancycook37332 ай бұрын
    • @@nancycook3733 yeh well not everybody has a complete STEEL WORKING shop in thier backyards either. I'm not saying he doesn't do good work because he most definately does...but try doing it without all thise mills and lathes and drill presses. That's my point. The measurements would be a BIG plus... Not just showing a hunk of metal and expecting it to work. I don't build ANYTHING without some kind of measurements. I also have welders but not the fancy ones. Mine is only good for doing small projects. And your bolt and hole theory might work for some stuff... But not all. Just makes things much more complicated.
