Amazing recovery from Angela on that liver shot from Stamp. Her ground game was beautiful to watch and she didn’t give Stamp any chance to catch her breath. Respect for both ladies though. It was a great fight to finish the day.

ya that smother game was great from lee. ya and Stamp had her chances to finish with the liver and to get out of some grappling situations but hind sight is 2020 so she will learn

EXACTLY - this is why I only watch ONE. UFC became a clown show full of drama queens. Although I’m an Angela Lee fan, major respect to Stamp. The way they both engaged each other after the fight shows the quality they are.
In the behind the scenes for this fight, Angela and Stamp were visiting each other post fight and Stamp met Angela's daughter and it was all smiles and hugs. They were so respectful and happy towards each other.

Even when winded|liver struck as has happened before in previous fights, her ability to soak it up, stay focused, and tactically recover through Stamp's flurry was exemplary. Stamp showed grit in being able to counter all attempts to ground her, and when she eventually was, displayed a clear technical ability to read and evade Lee's intentions, extracting herself on more than one occasion. Both formidable and impressive fighters. Two champions: one winner; one in-waiting. Love 'em both. Congrats to the Lee Family. Warriors. Great work.

At the end, I'm pretty sure Stamp said "I'm so sorry, I didn't do that good." Love the humility and honesty from her (assuming that's what she actually said) and I think this will be huge for her as she looks to improve her ground game. Great fight overall and great grit showed by both women!

We are blessed to witness two of the greatest atomweight in One fight one another! This two are so tough and durable. Angela Lee ate a vicious body shot but didn't back down. Stamp escaped three submission which to me looked really really tight. I am just happy to be witnessing two legends in the making!

I have never been impressed so much as I am with Angela Lee... The pure heart and skill on that girl is amazing... I'm 51 been watching fights all my life used to box a little when I was young and I have seen very few people recover from a liver shot especially in that manner

Stamp should've focused on attacking Angela with strikes first, since she's obviously the better striker. That's really her weakness, she tends to wait for her opponent to attack first. But still, she showed elite skills here. Those body shots, takedown defense, and survival of Angela's few submission attempts before her neck was finally caught. Kudos to Angela, she really proved that she's unstoppable. Love them both!❤️💪

She just worried about the takedowns. angela is anamazing grappler. Especially in the first before the shot that hurt angela, she was hesitant in her skrikes and didnt follow through on everything like she normally does

I think If she did that she would’ve just lost earlier. Her trainers that are professional coaching high level athletes think that as well.

This is one of the best MMA fights ever! Both women have incredible heart and skill. The sportsmanship at the end warmed my heart.
With more grappling training topped with her Elite Muay Thai, Stamp will make it to the top again no doubt. But what a statement by Angela Lee though! A lot of people doubted her after she had to take time off to have her baby. And she just choked out arguably the most dangerous striker in the division like she never left. She's on the way to G.O.A.T status for sure
Stamp has great grappling. She started BJJ at the same time she started Muay Thai.
Sure, with two of her last three fights ending in submission losses, and very nearly got submitted again in that rematch, she clearly has no need to improve 🙄

Seemed like she was surprised that it caught Lee that way and ended up losing the initiative. It took Lee's body some moments to recover, but her head was in the fight the whole time.
Maybe if Stamp continue to punish that body of Lee..while Lee is in a state of recovery and catching her breath also...Stamp will won.

Very impressed with Angela's sportsmanship at the end. Comes over to Stamp, sounds like she tells her she will be the next champion. Stamp also showed real dignity, she had to be very disappointed and took the loss with a good attitude. They obviously have great respect for each other and both know on another day the end could be different. Excellent.

Great fight, respect to Stamp Fairtex and congratulations to Angela Lee. Angela snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, a mark of a true champion. What did we learn, Angelas weakness is body shot as previously been exposed, keeping the fight on your feet is your best chance to beat her. Do not go to the ground at all cost, know that the odds are stacked against you if that happens. Angela on the ground is not just looing for a simple submission, she is constantly transitioning and softening you up in between transitions. Her skills and submission IQ are elite level. She will learn to protect her weakness and improve on her stand up skills, she will be unstoppable. Stamp learned a lot too, she can now defend better when it goes to the ground as she did a decent job in this fight. Love the sportsmanship at the end.

It is true that in the first round, Stamp could have finished Angela with more strikes after the liver shot, but Angela tied her up, got a chance to catch her breath, and the opportunity was gone for Stamp. I think if Stamp had put together more punches in a flurry after the liver shot, she may have had a chance. Once Angela got Stamp to the mat in the second round, it was all over for Stamp, for Angela Lee is a world class grappler….

As you watch this, you just feel bad for Stamp. She is constantly like a person resisting being swallowed by an octopus. Outside of hitting Angela's side once, Stamp just desperately fought off her inevitable end.
Standing wise Stamp is better. Angela is a grappler with striking training.

What a fight between two great fighters and champions. I honestly thought Stamps all round game would be too much for Angela but I was so impressed with Angela Lee’s stand up game. She swarmed Stamp but I think Stamp should have used her superior leg kick’s more. Then the body shot by Stamp omg that would have been the end of the fight against any other opponent. Stamp threw everything at her and landed many more blows but Angela has the heart of a lion and that was the difference as well as her superior strength which I didn’t think I’d be saying against Stamp. I hope they fight each other again. Unbelievable respect and love between these two amazing women. Well done ladies. What a fight.
