all 3 of these lipsticks are by lisa eldridge makeup (purchased myself) and the formula is really beautiful - lightweight and extremely pigmented. i have a neutral undertone to my skin btw!

    • ⁠@@tessarae9127, If you notice the color of the rest of her face when wearing the three different shades, the neutral brings out the rosiness in her cheeks while not bringing out the yellow of her skin too much. For the cool tone, her face looked paler giving off a stark look, and the warm tone brought the warmth from her hair giving her a muted glow from within. To me a person’s undertone or “perfect color” is what brings most harmony to the color palette you have. It doesn’t necessarily dictate what looks best on someone or what someone prefers. Personally I also agree that the stark contrast of her skin looking paler against the red looks the best. Gives winter show white vibes, which are my fav!

The first two are way better for her, esp the neutral, the last one is too warm, the cool one enhance her eyes even tho it wash her out, but the neutral makes her skin more radiant

    • and this is what is wrong with the make up industry since MAC hit the scene. Professional s are taught wrong about make up. All of them do not suit her. She does have a cool undertone. She is a cool season. Her eye shadow and blush are warm and are wrong for her. Her eyes are 100 percent cool. No warm in them at all. He skin tone is cool. No warm in it. She is wearing the wrong make up for her season if she wears warm. If she wore cool tones everywhere she would even look 5 years younger then she does in the warm tone.

    • @@jen7025Sure Jen. Did you ever even stop to think about high contrast? If you didn’t know, that I’m sure you know, orange most perfect and complementary high contrast color it’s blue! And what color are her beautiful eyes! That’s right blue! How dare I say all of this lipsticks complement her?, it’s because Makeup as much as it can compliment someone, it’s also about feeling and conveying emotion. So if she want to look like a classical, romantic beauty go for the cool tone. If she wants to look more modern and high contrast go for the orange, what I often thinks it’s wrong with makeup it’s people telling other people that they cannot wear a certain color! when most of the time they love that color! It’s not that deep! Have fun! Let people live their lifes! ❤
