Ranking History of Top 10 Men's Tennis Players (1990-2019)

Hi guys, how are you doing lately? I'm a little busy with my work and I don't have the time to start a new project. so I decide to update this video and fix some mistakes before I move on to next one.
Ivan Lendl's nationality is fixed in this version. He played for Czechoslovakia until 1992 when he became an US citizen.
I couldn't update women's version due to the bug on the WTA website. The date widget won't allow me to choose a date other than today's date. I hope they can address this issue soon.

I'm sorry but he hasn't, even at his worst Nadal was still dominating/doing good on clay and winning titles. • It's freaking insane to watch promising and indeed successful players like Murray, Roddick, and Wawrinka rise and fall all while Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic just keep resurging over and over again. In 2016, it looked like Federer and Nadal may be on the way out due to the wear and tear. One year later, they split the four slams. Then in 2017, it looks like Djokovic might be degrading, one year later he's winning slams again. Meanwhile, multiple guys who entered around the same time as Nadal and Federer's dominant rise and battled them early on like Roddick are *retired*.

It was the most competitive era of tennis and yet he still continued to be at the top at the beginning of 1990. It's a reflection of his consistency and longevity at the top. He had to contend with Borg, Connors, Mcnroe, Becker, Edberg, Wilander and yet he managed to win 8 grandslams, 5 year end masters world championships, reach 19 slam finals is a tribute to his grit, persistence and hard work.

  • Who else watching this after being heartbroken for Federer's loss to Nole in the 2019 Wimbledon final? (btw I don't hate Nole, just feel bad that this was probably the last chance for the fellow champ to win a major; would have been a nice way to sunset his tennis career on a memorable note) *but that 40-15 tho*
