The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his KZhead Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.
Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.
By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them.

  • If I were a billionaire, I'd give Kevin all the money he needs to keep these stunning creatures safe and happy forever. Lovely to see Vayetse, Livvy and Jenny and I can't get enough of the adorable Amy and Meg. I love Kevin's work to bits. His videos are soothing and truly beautiful.

    • I don't know if I understand quite what the point is of Kevin Richardson. He's not allowing the Lions to breed so he's not continuing the gene pool. He's not allowing them to hunt so they don't do that which is part of their natural behavior. And there's no Cubs for them to bring up which is also part of their behavior. So even though it's neat to see the Lions walking around and they're beautiful animals I don't quite see what the point is of his lion sanctuary. It's basically a zoo with lots of land but it's not even really a zoo cuz at least in zoos they're trying to keep the gene pool going.

  • I remember in The Lion Ranger documentary when Vayetse's best friend, Mufumu, died and how Vayetse just mourned and cried. It made me cry to see him so distressed. I remember when Kevin brought Livy and Ginny home to meet Vayetse and how nervous they all were. Then, two weeks later, they were all friends. I usually go for dark haired guys but I think Vayetse is so beautiful. He seems very different than Bobcat and you are right, his paws are huge! I will never get to roll on the ground with lions but I wish I could. They are amazing! When I am strested out, I watch lion whisperer tv and, suddenly, I feel happier. God bless you Kevin!😇

    • I believe lots of people have the circus mentality. They see "guy walks with lions", they think, well I went to the circus and saw a couple of those walking with the guy. But, they do not realize, the job kevin has done, and the environment the lions live in with kevin.

      @RamirezHD@RamirezHD7 жыл бұрын
    • Kaust Shroff forget the subscriber count that doesn't mean anything. I am subscribed to loads of 1m+ sub channels and they average the same views as Kevin's videos, but on the contrary, about 80% of Kevin's videos have more views than his sub count itself, so this channel is way ahead of its sub count. numbers don't mean nothing, that's in every aspect of life!

If someone isn't called in scary areas like these, they won't pick up the least interest. Enjoy while fulfilling your calling! And may the good Lord be with you.

I don't agree with our President-elect *either*, but that doesn't warrant this childishness when you should've just apologized to them, and randomly bringing up U.S. Politics where it has nothing to do with the video OR the conversation. • What you said about putting lions in a cage is the exact reason i dont agree with zoo's and refuse to go to them!! I think what you are doing is brilliant keep it up love the videos

    @Punchdrunk_Critic@Punchdrunk_Critic5 жыл бұрын
    • Yes I think many zoo's are macabre prisons and people claim they "love" animals and still go to them! Go and see how anxious and unhappy animals are in their ridiculously small cages. Pure insanity if you ask me.

      @dingdong9764@dingdong97644 жыл бұрын
    • Some zoo's do good in that they can conserve near extinct species through artificial insemination. For instance, the Great Panda does not mate very much which doesn't help the survival of an endangered species. I'm not condoning caging animals, there must be a better way and not all zoos benefit animals in this way.
