The writers were talking about a possible revival season 2 in October of last year! Lauren graham also mentioned she has a Gilmore girl clause in every contract she makes so she would be able to step away to do it if it ever happens again 🤗 AND the rest of the cast say they would 100% do another season if they could so I’m really hopeful it will happen at some point!
Lorelei did everything to ensure Rory didn’t grow up like her, yet Rory did exactly that...with a few different rabbit trails along the way. Her baby is Logan’s (like Christopher) and Jess is to Rory as Luke is to Lorelei. It all came full circle, which is the whole point. Imo

Yes but she in way raised with messed idea on men and the lack of her own personal relationships stability has played a huge part in this. I believe if she had a stable good relationship this would maybe changed a lot for Rory because let’s face it if it wasn’t for Jess giving her that wake up call Rory wouldn’t have gone back to college..... Rory should have ended up with Jess... Logan as nice as he was had some really dark demons to deal with and ultimately would never have been content with just Rory like father like son he would have married Rory and had a mistress.... and in regards to to who the father is I think we all knew when she visited her dad to ask him those questions and the that last hoorah with Logan it was quite obvious.
@@safia3578 quite right. I’ve watched the seasons on repeat and over the course of my third time around, Lorelei is definitely back and forth with her men. But in that came learning what she really wanted in the end. Some of us already know what we want and won’t waste time and energy on anyone who doesn’t fit our relationship picture.

Instead she wasted a boat load of time trying to do the right time with Christopher and between squeezing in perfectly good men she knew deep down she wasn’t as in love with them as they were with her I mean in particular Max Madena he was great granted he wasn’t well matched with her quirks but he wanted to make it work .... I smile when I remember his 1,000 flowers (which type I don’t remember) proposal and the look on her face.... I felt like that’s the kind of gesture she expected from Chris that she never got

I couldn't stand Jess when he was a teen, but there at the end, he was a really good character. He progressed while Rory went backwards. Ultimately, Jess was too good for Rory.
I got into the show because how relatable Jess was when he blew it with Rory due to his insecurities. Two years later he still loved her, I've been there.

It’s very very unlikely, that one night stan was in spring so assuming she got pregnant in April/May by the time she told her mother she was pregnant she would be 4/5 months pregnant and she drank a lot in summer and in fall going out with Logan I’m pretty sure is Logan’s baby

I think Logan is the biological dad, which would make him the new Christopher... And Jesse would become the new Luke, always being there for Rory and the kid, being this sort of father figure with occasional romantic moments with Rory... In the end the point of the story is for sure that Rory ended up in the same exact position as her mom, even though she's so different from her and seemed like she was gonna conquer the world... Because in the end we always end up repeating our parents mistakes.

That’s what I hope. It’s Logan and they work out. It “heals” Lorelei and Christopher’s story. And all those years later, she was still seeing Logan. His fiancée wasn’t even introduced. She is a toss away issue.

I don't think that Rory and Logan Mirrored Lorelei at all. Her relationship if anything is more akin to Emily and Richard. She had a longer relationship with Logan than any of her previous relationship.
I think I would be fine with Logan being the father, and for once, Rory really giving him a shot. They clearly have feelings for each other and contrary to Rory’s father, which was immature and young , I think Logan would do his best for his child, he would move in with Rory, raise their child and eventually get married. My problem with Rory is, she should be doing great with her career ! She shouldn’t be in this situation of not having a job and not doing well. With all of her credentials she couldn’t secure a job? I just can’t believe that ! That is just not her.

I totally agree. Logan was more like Richard . They were both pranksters. Logan , Pranked her in class. And Richard check mated him. Remember "Welcome to the family",.! I laughed so hard. Logan was kind ( remember when Richard had his heart surgery)and considerate,thoughtful and was always thinking of Rory's feelings. Dean felt Inferior and was her first love. Jess was Logan and Rory's relationship developed from contempt to acquaintances , friends to, I fancy this guy why don't he like me. This was a Rory lead relationship from the start. The only comparison with Christopher is the Logan also came from a wealthy family,and so did Lorelei and Rory. Jess was too much "Rebel without a Cause" . He showed contempt for her mother his uncle her friends, everything Rory liked .Handsome only gets you so far. Yes he was well read but do was Dean and Logan. He was always Last minute. Com as far as I could see. A couple of grand gestures with nothing to back it up. "Come with me Rory !" What to live in a Squat, He may have matured later in life. That was Rory's go out with a boy your parent's don't like .

Logan and Rory had a much more serious relationship. He wanted to marry her for love. He proposed because he wanted to, not because he had to.

I feel that Rori and Jess is endgame. They both felt it and knew it. As kids they acted on it, dated. Then indirectly knew it was not the right time for them so that is why their together path split. They always had that extra almost unexplainable connection. He grew up she grew up. He had to learn to be more responsible, she had to learn to be more adventurous. Full circle of they end up together. And I don't believe it is Jess's baby, I think it is Logan's but Jess would be the husband and of course a great dad. He has always adored her even realizing his worth and truly want Rory to be happy even if it means loving her from a far and giving her time... All 4 of the boyfriends made up the 4 important phases of "love" for a woman. ... and NO, Rory did not end up walking the same path as Lorelay, she passed 16year old pregnancy, even graduated whent to college and she was 32 when she fell pregnant. Yes she was unwed but that is hardly a comparison to make to Lorelay.
I hated that’s how they left it and never ended up doing at least one more season to say who the father was!

Rory is pregnant and it’s HER baby; Logan chose London and Odette; Jess will always be in her life since he’s publishing her books😃 Rory found her direction in life after floundering w the Christiane Aminpour style career- she’s following in Lorelei’s footsteps which isn’t a bad thing.

Unless I missed something, Rory only sleeps with two people in the reboot: Logan, and the one-night stand Wookiee. I don’t know where people are getting “Jess is the father” from - he only had like two or three casual encounters with her. In the logic of the narrative the dad is probably Logan, but I’m team Wookiee myself.

Okay so like it could be Logan’s but my friend told me this conspiracy and I think it is pretty cool. So there was this one scene where Rory emphasized how she had this one night stand with a guy dressed as Wookie. I think it must be his child but obviously they arent going to see each other again because they want that whole SinGle Mom in StaRs HalLoW thing continuing. lorelai’s whole thing was making sure Rory didn’t end up like her and now rory’s pregnant with Logan (Christopher) and Jess will be like her luke. Idk but it feels more disappointing than full circle lol I love the show but I didn’t like the revival or what they did to rory’s character
I actually like that Rory is not where she would have seen herself at 32. I went to college but am definitely not where I thought I would be at 35. I think it makes Rory more relatable and real to see her struggling with things like jobs and where to live. Unfortunately not everyone ends up with a successful career after college.
Logan is the obvious answer, since we find out they've been hooking up for a while. However, I would love for it to be a twist and it turns out she and Jess got together off-camera while he was in town and he's the father. He's the only boyfriend she never slept with in the original series, so we need to close that loop, lol!

Jesse takes over a newspaper company in NY " The Times" becoming Luke to Rory NY is where Rory raises her child, in NY, while struggling to come to terms with Logan getting married. We don't know who the child belongs to Rory had multiple partners, it can wait, while we see the scenes from the hometown Rory grew up in later we will see a new man come into Rory's life and she will settle down in Stars Hollow and take Mr. Roundbottoms place except for the paper will become a great success all over the world...hey, Jesse is running the NY Times... Yeah!...! P.S. Michael decides to fall for loving another woman, who sings at Mrs. Patty's the twins play for her. Logan isn’t Rory’s “Christopher”. He was the one that wanted to get married and settle down with Rory. He’s clearly still in love with Rory. He would leave his fiancée if Rory just told him that she wanted to be with him. She wouldn’t even have to tell him she’s pregnant for him to come back to her. People that think Logan is Chris and Jess is Luke are delusional. Logan and Rory have been together on and off for a freaking decade. Jess and Rory dated for a few months in high school. Logan is a lot more reliable than Chris. He has never proved himself to be unreliable in anyway. Besides coming from money, they are nothing alike. Rory and Logan’s relationship is very different from Chris and Lorelei’s. Rory and Jess’s relationship don’t resemble Luke and Lorelai’s in any way. And for the people that think Jess would help raise Rory’s baby, are y’all okay? Rory didn’t show any interest in Jess in the revival. She chose Logan in the series. Rory and Logan are still very much in love. And there is no way in hell that Logan would let Rory raise that baby without him. If anything, Logan is more like Rory’s “Richard”. Richard and Emily fell in love at Yale, as did Logan and Rory. Richard was engaged to Pennilyn and Logan is engaged to Odette. Richard left Pennilyn for Emily and Logan will most likely leave Odette for Rory. But the whole repeating your parent’s life thing is so stupid. Rory is very different from both Lorelai and Emily. They are all different characters who have their own stories.

I have a alternate ending just so I could have some piece of mind. Ep 5 - End Rory's pregnant with Logan's child, but she decides not to tell him as he's getting married soon. Lorelai is frustrated with everything's that's changing in her life, the marriage, the inn extension, michel and sookie. She seems distracted during the wedding party and emily sees through it, she drags her to an isolated place and starts lecturing her on the importance of marriage and how it did not work out with Christopher. Lorelai starts crying and tells emily that she couldn't stop rory from being like her and tells her that she's pregnant with logan's child but he's engaged to someone else but she threaten her that she'll never see her again if she tells him. fast forward, logan's mother is planning his wedding, and Rory is at her first ultrasound, and logan barges in and asks her why she decided not to tell him, then he proposes her right there, rory hesitated but agrees. They get married, Lorelai reads the manuscript and agrees to let rory publish it. Lorelai extends the dragonfly with tsuki and michel by her side. The show ends and the theme song starts playing.
