Largest City in Canada : Downtown Toronto Walk

Toronto is the largest city in Canada, and the capital city of the Canadian province of Ontario. The Greater Toronto Area has a population of about 6.7 million people. The city is home to a diverse multi-cultural background and a prominent center for restaurants, entertainment, tourism, and festivals. I walk through Downtown Toronto and showcase Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, Toronto City Hall, Financial District, and finishing up at the CN Tower.

      @dixonpinfold2582@dixonpinfold2582 Жыл бұрын
    • @@dixonpinfold2582 I'd say it about the same. There are taxes being added to your bill when you eat out in Toronto. Although the USD is stronger than CAD, the costs evens out due to taxation. It costs more to eat in Montreal, IMO. That's because your restaurant bill comes with a City, Provincial and Federal taxes that are added to your bill. I believe the percentage is higher in Quebec compared to Toronto.

  • Hey ActionKid, great video! Can I make a suggestion? If there is one walk that I would urge you to do, it would be to walk along Queen Street West and then walk north along Ossington Avenue. It's a very nice street/walk on a sunny day. If you want to walk further, once you've hit Dundas & Ossington, you can turn either west or east along Dundas and you can't really go wrong. In my personal opinion, I love Dundas from Ossington until Bathurst (which would be turning east along Dundas), there are some nice shops and vibes there. Some other great spots for walking are Harbord Village and nearby Palmerston Boulevard from College to Bloor. That whole residential area around Harbord/Palmerston is really quite nice! Also, if you have some time, the eastern part of Toronto is also great to walk around. Walking along the boardwalk of the Beaches until you hit the RC Water Treatment Plant (an art-deco building which has appeared in many Hollywood films), and then walking west along Queen Street East is really lovely. The neighbouring Leslieville along Queen Street East (closer to the Don River) is also worthwhile. And finally, walking along Broadview to see Riverdale Park East to catch a great glimpse of the skyline and a beautiful sunset is one of my favourite things to do in the city. Enjoy your stay in Toronto!
