  • I was FULLY looking at Laura sideways in the beginning. She not only told him to stop wearing his Hawaiian shirts, she also made him “get rid of the glasses” and I didn’t see him wear his glasses again after that. I literally could not believe she cared more about what he looked like over whether or not he could SEE!

    • She's definitely strong willed and can rub people the wrong way, but at the same time this show is heavily edited so I can just as easily see Jeramey pushing a lot of her buttons early on that was cut out for the narrative. I was not a fan of hers until Jeramey lost all credibility which made question what happened behind the scenes.

    • I heard that first, he said in the pods he didn’t wear glasses and then put fake ones later on. Something like that, I wasn’t paying very good attention and dont even remember what KZhead channel i saw that on. She also touched on the Hawaiian shirts but missed it. Either way she’s a tough cookie, I like her assertiveness in tough situations but she doesn’t have a big soft side

  • Woah watching you question Jeramy’s interest in Sarah Ann’s Insta followers made me realize- he was probably trying to size up how pretty she was. Because the idea is the more followers you have, the more likely you are to be conventionally attractive. At least thats how I’ve seen straight men comment about women’s large number of followers. Also I have seen some of the most unattractive women with a bunch of weird looking filters on their faces with hundreds of thousands of followers so the follower= pretty is something I have not heard before. But followers=insecure, starved for attention, likely to cheat, then yes.

    • I get what you’re saying. Unless that person has like a particular business or hobby, where they use it as an advertising sort of platform, it could be a flag for somebody who may be is interested in pursuing an influencer sort of lifestyle. There’s nothing wrong inherently with that, but, if they were on a show in the pods, and kind of talking this way, it could give you pods if that’s not the lifestyle that you’re hoping to lead. Some people don’t want partners who are very active on social media because it might mean that they need to become active on social media, or that, depending on what it is, they do, they will have to feel comfortable with other people being able to see or comment about things.

      @warholcow@warholcowАй бұрын
    • @@NicaeaBunnies7Nothing wrong with a lot of followers necessarily, more so just shows a difference in value or use of social media. For example I have around 500 followers, follow about the same, and most people I’m surrounded by have a maximum of like 1000 or so. To me I would wonder how much privacy we would have, and question if their goal is more influencer based, because that’s a different lifestyle than I have or want. It’s also just an interesting note because there are certain people who use socials to stay connected with people they personally know, and others who use it to gain more popularity or to promote certain ideas. I’m a small town girl so to me 4000 gives influencer vibes lol

  • Your take on the "teasing couple" resonated with me sooo much. My ex and I used to bicker all the time and when we crossed the line (which happens more often than you'd think), we were genuinely hurt by what the other person said. Over time (at least for me), that led to a loooot of resentment. My memories of him are now mostly negative because of the things that we used to say to eachother. When I started dating my now boyfriend, I kept making it very clear that that type of communication was a no-go for me and I had to stop us from going down that path a couple of times. He's always respected my boundary in that regard and we have become so much better at speaking and critisizing the other person respectfully, calmly and gently. It's crazy how much this can do for your attitude towards the other person and the relationship, we just hold eachother in high regard that way. Definitely a game changer.

If anything, he had terrible trauma as a a child, which greatly impacted him and none of the adults handled that well. Anyways, although we are not together anymore, he was a wonderful partner, and I am forever grateful to have had him in my life. I loved his parents too, but I still question what kind of parents would do that when their child finally meets someone wonderful. • Obviously what Jeremy did was horrible and immature but it is really obvious as the show was going on that Laura was the one that pushed Jeremy away. He could have handled the whole thing better, but it was still so new so I think he just wanted a way out. The night he was with Sarah Anne was the same day he met her family and not only did she make a big emphasis on not wanting anything to go wrong, but the minute they got there Laura automatically started to drag Jeremy in front of them and bring up how he 'liked" Sarah Anne's message. I just think it's really awkward to bring up negative things during the first time meeting parent and he probably felt that Laura was constantly belittling him, making him feel dumb, controlling him, and embarrassing him.

That line from Jeramy’s mom about his behavior stood out to me too, just as much as Clays mom’s words did. Truly amazing and rare moments to see on tv imo. But overall I saw the relationship between Laura and Jeramy as DOA, I knew they weren’t making it to the alter from the get-go because they had far too many problems that showed they did not match at all. What did surprise me was the sudden intrusion of Sarah Ann lol! I didn’t even remember her from the pods, but hearing her text and then how Jeramy spent the night with her was enough to make them both so wrong that I had to take Laura’s side and just didn’t care to hear from those two cheaters at all anymore tbh. The reunion showing that they’re on again off again etc was also unsurprising lol. Many of the guys on this season were particularly unready for marriage.

  • I dont understand why Laura told Jess to go home because Jimmy had a connection with Chelsea. Is going home the only option? Just like Amber when she realized Clark Kent was telling AD the same things he was telling her, she just went home.. Is that the only option? Like you can't regroup and get to know someone else?

Actually, I would really, Really love it if she did an analysis of the *Queen Charlotte* series. That one was full of things she could analyze regarding romantic relationships and parent/child, too. • I have been binging these videos since yesterday and they all are so good! Makes me wonder if I could be a therapist bc I have been thinking about what I want to do as a career and every point you make were the same responses and gut reactions I have had since watching LIB. I truly believe if I did not have such a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy I would be mentally unwell with all the BS I had to go through with my own parents, which is probably how I learned so much about what NOT to do. I have been in a healthy committed relationship for 8 years after a very unhealthy one and I have learned so much about myself and how people communicate in relationships and I think I would find a lot of ways to be able to help people with those dynamics as I am sure you do as well.

  • My dad's side of the family is very much into the teasing dynamic, but we have hard lines that every person can set to say what isn't up for jokes and everybody respects it. My mom had a really hard time understanding that rule/remembering what was off limits, so we don't joke with her like that and she doesn't make those jokes to ensure everyone feels respected. To me it's all about communication, deciding if the relationship is more important than the habit, and looking for a compromise if possible.

  • Sarah ann was planning from the beginning to get between jeremy and laura. She made a comment about how she would "have her chance" after Jeremy left the door open when he broke up with her. Jeremy's whole "location share" deal indicates to me that he is a serial cheater. He uses that to deflect from suspicion of cheating, and he did the same thing to another ex. Ive heard speculation that he tried to leave his phone in the parking lot but his apple watch's location was used instead. Im also not convinced that jeremy was innocent in the whole bean dip situation. He said he didn't know what it meant which is why he talked about it, but he also said doing it would get him canceled. If he didn't know what it was why would he expect to get canceled. I also think he didnt have a problem with AD's reaction, but instead he was pissed that it upset Clay so much. AD took it in stride but Clay nearly lost his mind over it

Basically explaining how the chips fell before that and ofc they edited that whole situation to only show that scene with absolutely no context for the viewer. I had the same reaction seeing it on screen but it made alot more sense after I saw her interview.
