FIRST TIME EVER - Leopard Hunt And Kill And EAT A Hyena
Watch all the ACTION - The fist time ever recorded where a Leopard hunt and kill and EAT a Hyena. A leopard might kill a Hyena when he/she or its meal are threatened. BUT a Leopard will NEVER EVER hunt and EAT a Hyena. On the other hand a Hyena, being a very opportunistic predator / scavenger by nature, might kill and eat a Leopard? This is the most amazing footage I ever recorded in the wild of Africa and it is featured here, on KZhead, first.
These big cats eat a variety of food, from wildebeest to fish, but most of their diet comes in the form of antelope.

You all forget something. The most powerful, scariest, fearful, terrible, horror on earth is HUMAN
Leopard is underrated: I have never seen any other animal with such versatile skills.
Absolutely. The greatest ambusher by far. Its striped-spotted competitors live in jungles where it is much easier to ambush. This lone hunter ravens for prey in the savannah.
I say tiger is the most versatile. It hunts solo, can swim in water and climb trees
Ummm... Humans. The most versatile of them all
If you think the leopard is underrated look at its South American cousin, the jaguar. It’s literally just a larger more versatile leopard but instead of killing with a neck bite to the jugular, Jaguars aim and pierce through the preys brains stem. Jaguar kill caimans all the time and they’re excellent swimmers
Who says Leopards are underrated?? Everyone knows they're good hunters.

Depends on the Leopard, some adult Leopards are very bold and brave. These cats have different characters some are brave others not so much, but a full grown Leopard can definitely kill a full grown Hyena one on one. The reason it is rare is because the Leopard is a solo hunter so the risk of inury is paramount in its decision making on what animals to take on. The Leopard is very aware that Hyenas move in clans so if the Leopard gets into a fight with one Hyena it is likely to back off after not to long for fear of the disturbance attracting the rest of the clan.

And if its possible they both would try not to fight against each other's , unless it was necessary. Plus this Hyena seem to be a outcast and in truth a outcast hyena it's hard for them to get food and they become more weaker. That's why the outcast Hyena need to hurry up and find them a pack who can welcome them into they're family of pack. And if that Hyena get accepted by the Alpha Female. Yeah...first time to see this eating hyena by a leopard. Usually I thought a leopard might be a bit afraid of hyena. Thank you for the recording.
I wouldn't say Leopards are afraid of Hyenas, they are just more cautious, as Leopards as usually solitary hunters, know how powerful Hyena's jaws are (they can crunch through elephant bone no problem), thus they know if they get injured to point where they can't hunt- they are in potentially serious life threatening trouble... Where as Hyenas are in clans, they have back up and other hyena's to help them if they get injured and can even get food provided for them by other clan members, while they recover, the leopard does not have this luxury as a solo hunter so they have to be more choosey with their battles as it were... However leopards are still opportunists as all predators are, if they see a good chance of success at getting a meal- no matter what species that meal is- they will take it.
When the hyena is high af and thinks the leopard as a cheetah .
I'm surprised the leopard was able to hunt anything at all with so many freaking noisy vehicles following every single step it takes ....it could work in its favor but I think that the prey will eventually relate the vehicles to the presence of a predator and run away thus making it difficult for the predator to be able to catch anything
Yeah. I know Sharks now relate the sound of boat engines to meal time, so similar thing here.
If they haven't already put two and two together that humans = danger, then they deserve to go extinct.
In the video, someone says that its mother ran away for her life. I don't think that is the case. Most likely it is another sibling. Most adult Hyenas steal the prey from average size leopards like this one and eat it in their faces. Most likely were two young siblings that strayed from the pack.
