    • To a hockey fan it was nothing. In the NHL it MIGHT have gotten a 2 minute penalty for roughing but a bit of pushing and shoving happens often and often doesn't result in any penalties at all.

  • Perfect breakdown. All on Cabrera. 1) Why was he charging in when backing up the play? He already saw Bichette had the ball. I guess maybe he was excited and wanted a better view of the tag? But from the beginning, he was where he didn't need to be. 2) Random shove when they came together. Cabrera was just pissed that the guy bunted and he gave up a run, and his team was losing. When you run into someone by accident you do what the runner was doing - kind of grab the other person to make sure they don't fall. Not try to shove them. 3) Runner was right to question why the shove. Totally unnecessary. 4) Cabrera gives the runner a shove that's basically a glove-on punch, given the force. Completely unnecessary and also showing that he was upset about the bunt/runs/losing much more than anything that happened in the confrontation.
