  • He continued with his performance and sang that song, just like that, immediately after he'd been denigrated by those same judges for wanting to withdraw from the competition because as he said, in his country the adults encourage and help teach children, they do not compete against them. He said he'd asked the question, 'Will I be competing against children?' before he signed the contract. He didn't say any more. That statement was just left hanging, and none of the judges replied. It was obvious to everyone in the studio that he had been deliberately lied to to get him on the show. Then one of the judges actually accused him of being afraid of the talent of the kids in the competition and intimated that he was leaving because he couldn't win. An absolutely shameful accusation. The live audience were still there waiting for his song. He didn't let them down, he sang his heart out and there was a standing ovation from the audience (this was cut from the show). Then he left the competition. He did not speak about it in public. It just shows what an honourable, dignified and upright man he is.

  • "I want you to give yourself to us," girl pls, he's one of the best singers of the world. Sit your butt down, he always gives his all when honoring a song. And I say honor because he's a true artist who values and feels what he sings, he doesn't just do it as a job.

    • I was angry when I heard her "lets put down a better singer than me and have to say something crap to solidify my opinion as a judge" moment. My response to that judge " shut up" I've never even heard of you and I am being honest, didn't even know who she was lol.

  • I love the performance but I really was appalled at how the judges treated Dimash at the end of the 3 performances. I hope that the show wasn't picked up for a second season due to the fact that contestants were pitted against children, which is why Dimash opted out! Love you Dimash

    • @@stockinvestment2011 Yeah what do you say about the producer literally promising Dimash he will not compete with children. And then (idk whats the word; tricking? manipulating?) Dimash competes with Daneliya and Lydian. Thats not professional of the producers. And if there's a contract signed or smth, to ensure that Dimash wouldn't compete with children, this is literally crossing the contract, which means it's a crime

    • And to make it even more absurd, right before this song he sang a Kazakh folk song (hence the outfit and the musicians which all came from a music school in Kazakhstan) and we all know how emotional he is when singing in his native tongue.

Mike patton can do all types of vocals, from classical opera, crooning, high level metal distortion, jazz. Your boring Dimash can't even sing metal with voice distortion, all he sings is pop opera cross over, booooooring.

  • Faiths critique was absurd. Especially coming from someone who sang her self. There was nothing more he could of gave of himself. At least the other two judges basically acknowledged his grand performance. She on the other hand wanted more. She just sounded foolish!!!!!!

    • Hola chistina, yo también pensé lo mismo pero cuando busque mas de el como entrena su voz, las técnicas y sobre todo para que a lo largo no dañe sus cuerdas vocales te puedo decir que la garganta que tiene esta muy entrenado como para que a largo plazo lo pierda como el lo dijo un vez, disciplina y muchas horas de entrenamiento y este es el resultado, te invito a que escuches más de lo que puede hacer ha y su nota más alta es un D8.

  • Its clear that Dimash has a wide vocal range and a crazy high pitch (mix belting) for a male singer. So awesome! But what I don't get is his style on rendition of songs in its original arrangement in a particular song genre... He uses and combines opera singing, chest belting, heavy mixing (pop) and head voice all in thesame song; thus somewhat loosing the main essence of the song itself.. Its like deciding if his singing rock, opera or power ballad version of the song coz everything is all in there. Anyways, this is just a personal opinion. Mr. D is still one of the vocal masters in this generation...

  • Why is this circus still being addressed!?! TWB ruined his performance. They flew in these Khazak musicians probably to do Didedoua (xceuse spelling) but they wouldn't let him do anything not American...let's see The WORLD'S Best...okay. This show is an embarrassment and kudos to Dimash for calling them out on it, in his discreet yet very effective style. World's worst staging, world's worst lighting, world's worst sound system and the world's worst producers! Good riddance forever!
