This is a great sport wiih all sorts of good athleticism but to me the real eye opener is the rifle arms of many of the left side infielders. Scott is tops!
For sure. A rocket arm is a necessity for short stop and third base players at this level particularly because some of the batters are so fast up the line to first base.@@sgtcrab2569
leaving the base early is such a rookie mistake i can't believe collegiate players still do it!! in such a crucial moment too. Glad Texas got the comeback, love when an overdog loses

Thanks Matt for posting these highlight videos. I don’t live in the US so it’s difficult to watch from outside of the US.
Got to say, that was some solid umping. I though a few of the calls on balls and strikes may be off but it is hard to tell with this camera angle and they were called for both sides evenly. Left the game up to the players, like it should be, and got an amazing game out of it.
1:15 ended up being a major error by our freshman and I didn't even notice it during the game. 2 outs, on second, blooper to right center field and she waited to tag up. That should have been an extra run on the board for OU because Pickering is fast.
the error was them not calling interference on the catcher when she did not give the runner a clear path to the plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Women’s college softball is, in my opinion, the BEST , sports available to watch. I absolutely love watching these girls play. They are so good.

12:00 ok so the 2nd base player left the base earlier that means 1 run less but why the 3rd base player run was also removed?
play is dead so pitch and play are erased. runner is still out for leaving early.

@@mollyterrell881 definitely lol. luckily most umpires are at least consistent with whether they call it or not. typically only gets called on a challenge.

How can you tell what personality a coach has when they're just on the sideline? What do you think she's going to do, get out and do jumping jacks? She looks like every other baseball or softball coach I've ever seen. Even if you're right that can of draino does nothing but win championships unlike whoever your coach is.
I actually think she is doing great for the position she has. Maybe take a look at the Texas coach for a while, he is not exactly Mr bubbly personality,but they are trying to do the best they can to get wins!

Surprising but not totally unexpected. Our bats weren’t working and swinging at junk pitches plus some balls just didn’t fall in. Our pitching staff wasn’t their best either didn’t help. We’ll be back.
Good defensive plays won the game, Got lucky.
