Hi

Yes

Ok
I'm gonna have to disagree on dried kelp being useless. It's a super easy infinite fuel source, since one dried kelp block smelts more than nine items, you can constantly be smelting kelp and then transfer the extras to any other furnace.
But you have to manually craft every kelp block. For truly fully automatic fuel there's bamboo or carpets, and even a simple lava farm will easily have you set for weeks after just a couple hours afk.
@@beautifulnova6088 I didn't say automatic. I said easy. Setting up a simple pool to grow kelp in, which you can then harvest, is much easier than an automatic farm. Especially because bamboo is harder to come by than kelp, and depending on the farm you use, the amount of redstone that you would need to gather can get quite high.
@@ClonedGamer001 true

This is late but I found that kelp is a very sufficient food source considering that after smelting 9 kelp into its dried variant, rather than eating it you can craft it into a dried kelp block and use it as fuel in your furnaces. So basically you can make a ton of food easily with a cheap process by smelting kelp with kelp and eating the leftovers.
Depending on what ur doing in ur world it can be very helpful indeed with a good farm ...
How many items can a dried kelp block smelt?
@@buraksirma98 it lasts for 200 seconds, which is about 20 items you can smelt, compared to coal or charcoal which only last about 80 seconds, or 8 items smelted

Another trick with snowballs - the have the same trajectory as Ender Pearls, so end-busting before you get an Elytra can be made safer by checking where a pearl would land using them.
So training dummy ender pearls? Cool. Would making traversing the end islands, cliffs and the nether a bit safer to absolutely know for a fact your Pearl should land
If you have been playing minecraft for a long time, you should be able to predict where the pearl would land, imo

Dried kelp blocks are great, while you can use them for building purposes like shown here, they're also a great fuel source. They can be farmed very easily and a block of dried kelp smelts 20 items, once you have dried kelp blocks you can use them to smelt more kelp. I usually have a small kelp farm in my survival worlds to avoid having to mine coal over and over.
20 items huh? that's even better than one piece of coal
Indeed. Plus coal is needed for torches to explore those gigantic caves. Although usually I have to use charcoal at some point because there just isn’t enough coal…

Dried Kelp is also an extremely efficient fuel source if you're smelting less than an entire stack at once -- it beats the heck out of charcoal as far as renewable fuel goes, though it's a ways from Lava buckets now that they're renewable. (Though you *can*, say, use lava buckets to smelt dried kelp and make that into blocks, which lets you smelt more than you could with a lava bucket alone by a decent margin... though the time required may not be worth it.)

Here’s another way to make a useless item useful: When you gain stone tools, you probably have worn out wood tools! But instead of throwing them in fire (or let them sit in a chest for the rest of your life!), use them for fuel! The best part is that it burns like it’s brand new!
yes i already knew that but it’s a good thing to do if you don’t have any other fuel
also, when your iron/gold stuff is almost broken, unenchant it on a grindstone to get some XP back and then smelt it in a furnace to get nuggets
in the nether, #1- farm those zombie piglins, Looting III really helps here. #2- collect all gold they drop. #3- use grinding stone to remove any enchantments from the swords and armor for the XP, then smelt all down into gold nuggets. #4 - combine those nuggets into ingots. #5- Use those ingots for trading with piglins or whatever else you can use gold ingots for.
