Flamethrowers on robot dogs? I asked for sharks with frikkin' laser beams!
Evvvvilllllllllll 😂
Video Upscalling is INNNSANE - just imagine old movies being upscaled, like home video recordings of family or ofc movies and such
huge
I can i imagine it. Can You? It would be a nightmare.
Meh. I don't care for upscaling old film and such. I know some do, and that's fine, but I just prefer to watch it how it was originally filmed/recorded, etc. I really don't need to see every pore on someone's nose.
Exactly, and it's extremely useful. Which cannot be said for a lot of AI tools that are just for making people in images dance or similar things that are fun for 10 seconds, then you go to the next tool that is fun for 10 seconds. I'm looking forward to more 2D to 3D tools, perhaps letting us play video games in 3D or similar stuff that is fun for months or years, not 5-second long TikTok videos.
@@pvanukoff It enhances the experience, but it's cool that there are some purists out there that appreciates history in undiluted format.
More AI! Wait til you have an ai toilet telling you that you need more fiber 😅
😂
yes please
😂😂
Sh*tty AI products 🤔
I have the prototype. It has a VERY agressive AI bidet.
I think you're handling the 'i'm not going to play the music just in case it's copyrighted' very well and I really like your approach. Just wanted to point that out. Great video as always.
Thanks Matt, great weekly summary as always. Genuinely appreciated.
Great stuff, thanks for your hard work.
Thank You. Matt Wolfe
Great update. Thanks!
Thanks for the updates 🤠
The parking ticket Los Angeles AI thing is absolutely insane. Not only will this be considered over-reach, it’s bound to make mistakes, and no one wants to have to deal with parking enforcement processes to dispute citations. It’s an absolute nightmare.
I can hardly make a list without ChatGPT duplicating the same item several times - and yes, I did include the word 'unique'.
Somewhere the seed of what future mankind will call Skynet is thinking "Robot doggos with flame-throwers....nice."
Thank you, so glad I wasn't the only one who thought of Skynet.
The irony is that humans are the ones abusing every shred of superiority to oppress and destroy others, while there is no evidence whatsoever that AI will do so - so people who cry Skynet all the time are anthropomorphising AI more than those who are happy to incorporate it as useful tools into everything.
@@strikeforcealpha9343 I keep hearing of these AI models and think what would we tell future generations with a straight face if we talked about the great Llama Wizard Claude war.
Vaguely reminds me of Snow Crash
Amazing news as always, Matt!
Keep up the great work! You are the best!
that outro was wild lol
Ending the video with flamethrower dog was crazy. 💀 skynets coming
Hi Matt, we do not need "huge news" absolutely, sometimes, some topics can be interesting 😉
Thanks Matt!
today was kool specialy the rayban smart glasses
Thanks!
Awesome. Thank you.
Woohoo best time of week
Great highlights and awesome sponsor LUV Hostinger! So glad u didn’t sell out to Squarespace like so many creatives do (ironic when it’s the least creative web site platform when it’s all based on templates)
The great Matt Wolfe! You are literally the BEST AI news source in the world! THANK YOU!
22:44 AWESOME!!! Until it's used in conflict...
16:58 I talk with PI on my phone, it uses cloud inference and it just takes barely 2 seconds to respond with voice and all. It could be faster sure, but I can have a conversation with it and feels pretty natural.
As always, exciting news but nonetheless scary at the same time. Like your optimism and energy to make it so much more digestible!
I am out here waiting on robotic ai lawnmowers. Where are you? It will happen!
Waiting for AI to get in our food to produce broccoli that tastes like a meat-lover's pizza with all of the nutritional value an expert dietian can offer.
Those exist now ???
@@conkerredtail4688 Maybe not yet, but one can dream. It'll probably start off with Hawaiian pizza flavored. Though I think I remember seeing some sort of taste device that mimics different tastes - I think they said it uses different kinds of salt to trigger the five taste centres on the tongue. Then there's also 3D printed food.
@@NotThatVinny You need to do your research better, we got those months ago!
I need that robot flamethrower dog 👀😭
Around 3-4 almost $5k if you got that kind of money I don't think it's available yet, and I don't know what requirements you gotta meet to even be able to buy something like that. I'm pretty sure it might have an autonomous mode?
*Getting my first AI Toaster*
Upscaling video is insane - imagine old movies being upscaled, like home video recordings of family or official events
I'm happy to see you with stable success creating regular videos and having a stable viewer base. I like that you don't pretend to be anything more than you are which is an AI enthusiast which is perfect for this role.
I'm batch 2 for the rabbit r1. By the time you get it, they should have quite a bit of futures out by then, which will make it for a better review
Ai in everything! thanks again for all the info.
Thanks for covering Tesla as well.
Good wrap again Matt. But I don't see the free offer from synthesia anymore
11:22 the transitions are too flashy, not cool when you watch the video in the evening/night
DUDE I love the Sybreed logo! I've never met another fan in the wild before.
@@trebmaster
@@trebmasterMe three! 🤘
Yeah we don't need to be flash banged with every transition
Partnering with open ai could be an early indication that adobe will soar again eventually in the ai field. Not ai releated but the new font update to photoshop is so awesome
flamethrower dog to clear snow? thats certainly one way to establish dominance
That upscaling in Abode gave me a Bladerunner vibe. When SiFi becomes real are we in a simulation where anything is possible?
Too much? Not possible 💪🏼
LOVE the ultra-cheesy extro Matt!
Tesla’s Full self Driving that was trained on AI is absolutely berserk. So good I am seriously thinking of my next car being a tesla when I never thought about it before.
Robot with a flamethrower 😂😂
When do we get the ai agents that can use Photoshop and will actually assemble an image I request?
company making anyhin and slapin "AI powered" to it!
You should try to use some sort of AI tool to remove the music from videos you show instead of muting the video completely. Even davinci resolve now has this feature in their new resolve 19 update.
Well this isnt the first electronics were embedded into everything. Its just following the well work path of progression. Everything will be smart enabled, which i am in support of.
With smaller LLM they have something to sell to fit your individual need
Hey Matt, Skype now has Copilot AI in it. Could you look into it and maybe do a short video about Skype's capabilities now with AI
What app are they using for the AI diss songs
I have been seriously considering the potential benefits of introducing AI into our traffic control systems at intersections. AI promises not only smoother traffic flows and safer roads but also a reduction in pollution due to decreased idling times. Considering these significant advantages, I am compelled to ask: When can we expect to see meaningful automation applied to the traffic signals at intersections in our local areas? What are the obstacles preventing our communities from advancing with this technology?
Great information as always, but if you say that those small AI models work just as fine for smaller tasks, it's again a very narrowed American perspective. I am German. I wrote an AI application like ChatGPT just for myself (no, not published, it's in a "works for me" state) with ollama and switching models dependent on their requests and the biggest problem is, that when models shrink in size that it seems to me that one of the first things that are thrown over board is the ability to understand and speak foreign languages. So if you want to keep all the important infos the llm gave you as an answer mostly correct, you need to retrieve the answer in English and then translate it into, in my case, German. Same is also true for asking the llm for something in a non English language. - You first have to translate it into English before you give the question to the small (l)lm. This leads you into the dilemma of info "lost in translation"! I am pretty sure, that the big companies, if they want to implement these small models directly into phones etc, they will provide multiple different LMs for that, depending on your native language. But at the moment, these sLMs are pretty useless for non English speaking users working on their own! OK, PS: I know it's not the first feature that is sacrificed when shrinking a model, but it's the most important "feature" (because it's a language model) that has to suffer.
Hmm 🧐 thanks for this
is there an alternative ai similar to invoke ai? thanks in advance
can't wait to get the Zune
Those upscaling videos could have been worked backwards to seem better than the actual feature.
Hey Matt.....I don't know squat about AI, but thanks to you....I now know more. But my budget, says, which AI, is free?
I'm loving the robots as well. Even more so when they are driven with AI. I mean if you love AI you have to love bots.
lol, Midjourney IS StableDiffusion.
We're indeed doing everything we can to get that hive mind asi as powerful and invasive as possible.
AI in health care to directly aid the needy versus flamethrower dogs from Black Mirror. Well...ok. 😆 Thanks as always Matt. 👍
22:03 why those NPCs have no legs?
Can't stop thinking about that Tobasco tagline. Updated to, *AI-I put that s#!t in everything!*
That outro, tho! 😂
I totally want a flamethrower robot.
The point of using Firefly is that they train on their oun copyrighted materials
AI Cameras on Busses: I give you the UAE. In Dubai they have that on cars checking bad parking and on school busses - you are not allowed to overtake a parked school bus (children) and cameras make sure you get a ticket immediately.
If Photoshop were a buy-once and run on my own machine I'd buy the heck out of it. When it's a use on one machine and pay again and again and we'll censor what you can do with it deal, it's no deal at all.
Adobe Firefly images might not be up to Midjourney but their UI/UX is way better and makes it more accessible to people.
AI flame throwing dogs are all fun and games til someone loses a house
Commercial liscence...that is what makes Adobe Firefly valuable.
matt you can use ai to change the background music of copyrighted music videos and extract the vocals. so we dont have to watch boring musicless content
The reality of using these AI tools doesn't live up to the hype. Yet. It will be exciting when they do. Right now there is a big user experience gap, and they have issues with actual performance and (some) unrealistic pricing models. Love Matt's info, even if he isn't critical enough!!
watching you since 50k followers, i have the impression that you used to put more effort into these videos. Please don't take me wrong, they are still good, but splitting your attention between here and the podcast has definitely impacted it.
Oh GAWD...flame throwing dog robots?! Whatever next 🤣🤣🤣
Strangely I haven't gotten any mail for several days now, may it have something to do with the scorch marks on the driveway. Bad flamethrower dog, bad, do...🔥🔥🔥
I keep seeing videos about all these cool new robots, and they are doing things around the house---it makes me think that we may get closer to having Robot help around the house, but then I wonder if I would ever be able to afford one of these things....How expensive are these things going to be, cuz im not paying 10 grand for a robot to do my dishes.
Ai is supposed to be in everything. Right now people use apps and software. Where we're going is ai will be between us and the apps and software getting full use of data and the functionality. As long as we know how to command it. Most people miss this
I want a sign that says "Beware of flame-throwing robot dog."
Need to factor in that Adobe is careful on its ai training as they are offering indemnity for using their pdt. So they might be slower than others who are pushing the frontiers at all cost 😅
Drake wins if he loses the case. - If Drake sets the precedent where proceeds of a AI song using a known/public voice - he would be able to sue those who use his voice. - he has put the song out for free, so there are no proceeds (and he could afford damages) Drake wins if he wins the case. - He would be the first person to win a rap battle in court.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, GPT4 turbo with memory?
I consider Tesla to be a generalized electronics company rather than an AI, because they also make batteries and solar.
We can't stop we have to do it as fast as possible if we want UBI AI will help manage UBI
it would be cool if there were like ai awards like the Oscars or something and there were different categories like best ai image or video lol
I'm looking forward to AI directed traffic lights. Can't come soon enough.
ai in beards would be news 🧔♂️
Oh Matt. Please calm down on the dopamine frying TikTok effects. Your content is great. The flash effects are killing my brain. Thanks 🙏
Should We Stop Putting AI in EVERYTHING? the better question is what do we want AI to do for us?
Everything
what I really need is an AI microwave to make sure everything is heated evenly. I hate having some very hot parts and some cold parts in the same plate
How they've forced AI into Windows is infuriating (and there's no way to get it out and reclaim the wasted space).
Completely uncensored unfiltered AI will always perform better!
We have AI in our laundry machine. The AI seems depressed at its lot in life.
Agree. Photoshop... fine, can't do without it. Firefly... not so much. Almost is the right word.
So you've got all of these companies spending big chunks of money/time releasing some sort of image/video AI enhancement. But the end game here seems to be to limitlessly create any image or video you want with a text prompt. You can argue in the near future that ability will be free. So it seems like this is all a bit frivolous.
As an alien in the US, one thing I don't quite understand is how a thing like this robodog that throws flames can be legal. Second amendment on steroids? I would be highly grateful if someone could explain it to me
The AI part is new, but Tesla, as a robotics company & not a vehicle company, is old news. Tesla vehicles are robots, well the emerging versions of what will one day be autonomous machines. This has been mentioned before and understood for over 3 years. That's why Teslas evaluation surpases the evaluation of other vehicle companies (They have different visions).
ai made my unemployed im a conecpet artist, today i work with elder people people might think ia in the end but i dont understand what people will do when ai Is everywhere, wha are people going to work with?
Remember that text app they promised two years ago. Where they would generate fonts based off of images. That was two years ago.
MOST PEOPLE CANT SEE WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING AT .... DEFINETELY NEEDS TO TELL THEM !
