During "Karneval", which is like the humorous Version of Halloween, there are parades with floats etc. Just google about Trump floats. 😁 There are also events with speeches. And the jabs can get spicy and "deep". And there's generally a lot of satire in Germany that would leaves most Americans jawdrop-speechless. Often a little darker, but also intelligent. Volker Pispers did some satires about US politics. But beware, can be hard to watch for Americans. 😎

New York Times under its current publisher/editor seems to be as childish as Trump about the jokes. I've recently given up on a lot of news sources I used to respect: NY Times, Washington Post, NBC, CBS. Sad, but Meidas Touch, BTC, and several other good networks/stations are available on KZhead. Good thing since I am not getting more conservative as I get older as the TV networks seem to expect. I seem to be getting more liberal when I compare myself to the Republican Party. But that may be a false comparison given what has happened to the Republicans in the last decade.
