Skip Bayless, Paul Pierce and Rachel Nichols react to Pierce’s comments on Keyshawn Johnson’s ‘All Facts No Brakes podcast’ proclaiming if LeBron James and the Los Angles Lakers wins an NBA Title this year he will be the “undisputed GOAT.” Skip, Paul and Rachel decide what it’ll take for LeBron to surpass Jordan.

    • Skip Bayless this is for you!!!!! That 6 -0 is not what it seems!!! The case against Micheal Jordan! He beat the Piston and Lakers at the end of their respective dynasties. He “retired twice” and because of those retirements he only played 15 seasons. If MJ would not have retired he would have had a 20 year basketball career. So that mean he could have face the Rockets, The twin tower Spurs, the Kobe & Shaq 3 peat lakers and the Spurs in their Big three era (Tim, Tony, and Manu). MJ was able to avoid all those teams in the finals. Lebron avoided no one!

    • Why total points are more important than ppg? It never mattered when kareem held it and he had rings and accolades to support it. Coz mj was 33ppg in the playoffs and 31ppg in regular season he is the only player to elevate himself with better % accross the boards in the playoffs. Bron can never claim that. Who cares about assist or rebounds mj proves that u only need a specialist killer scorer in a time where centers were trees under the basket. Bron had hard time scoring over bogut in the finals do u really think the PED juicer can score at the same rate as now?

Obviously he's closer now in terms of chips & stats, but his journey in doing so has created a corrupt file, so 2 speak, that to many could never equate 2 what MJ did. If LeBron won the nxt 3 it would involve others being able 2 be the best player OFTEN. If ppl can debate 3 > 6, as they have, then it's certainly fair 2 say that LBJ's 7 or 8 or 9 won't be better than MJ's 6.

  • MJ is a totally competitiveness driven personality. Once he dominated and accomplished everything he could, he felt no motivation to prove anything, not for more points, more minutes, more assists, etc. That’s why when he returned the first time, Phil set the goal for him by saying no one ever came back and built another three peat. That simply set the fire in MJ and from that point on, that’s his only purpose. So to take that kind of personality into account, there’s no way we can talk about longevity cuz once he’s done he moves on. What Lebron did is also amazing and lots of great achievements, a lot of those are accumulated achievements coming from Lebron’s huge passion and discipline to the game of basketball. That’s why I always say, if your measurement about GOAT is longevity over peak, then it’s Lebron all day. If you measurement is more toward to what you accomplished in prime mode, MJ all day cuz what he achieved in prime years is far better than what Lebron did. Period.

    • Kyrie was leading scorer for the Cavs in 3 finals games (tied one game with Lebron with 41 pts) the Cavs weren't some underdog garbage team. They were a powerhouse like golden state and I thought Golden State was overrated. They are not the greatest team ever assembled. They choked a lead away. The 72-10 Bulls got it done in regular season and finals. And Lebron didn't carry that team and make himself the greatest with that win. He assembled a great team and won. He should've. Put Kobe or Mike on that team and if they didn't win people would be saying they failed. And when Kobe tore it and so did Shaq he was carried but lebron brought this team to the top alone with another 25-35 a night guy. I'm over the Le'media spreading this BS

And Kevin Durant of 2017. Those are your starting five. Who's the focus built around on plays if you are the coach. Who's your closer? Who's taking the most shots? Who is your leader? I think it's a good question. Curious what everyone says. If anyone would like to sub in Magic, Kareem, Jokic, Wilt, Tim Duncan, or Kobe, Bill Russell, or fringe Larry Bird feel free to. • Jordan's path to the finals was tougher. The bulls had to beat 3-4 tough teams to play the best team in the West. Go look at LeBrons finals runs. They're littered with series vs the Bucks, Hawks, Magic, and shitting on Toronto regularly. It's way easier to win 1, maybe 2 tough series compared to 3/4 every playoffs. This also explains why LeBron was always facing these well oiled machines that come out of the West... they had already beaten several championship caliber teams before they got to him, while he's been coasting playing Brandon Jennings and the ghost of what was Michael Redd
