👨‍👩‍👦ABOUT ME:
Borahae! I am a singer/songwriter/producer that rediscovered my passion for music during the pandemic after hearing BTS. A wild musical journey ensued that reunited 2 childhood friends (me & Lucas). Along the way, we built a music studio and now we travel the world to showcase both known and hidden talents that deserve more recognition.
What to expect here? An immersive musical journey full of:
1.) Reactions (sort of) - We broke the OLD format! No FAKE, no substance reactions. Our Podcast style reactions are short musical adventures breaking down the music to teach about elements that make your favorite songs great. Plus wild stories along the way!
2.) Original music from us.
3.) Exclusive interviews & performances from your favorite artists & hidden gems.
4.) Music podcast for everything we can't cover in a short video
💜You Nice! Keep Going!💜

  • The feeling, when he sits down to sing during a concert, is one of intimacy, as if he is saying, "Let me sing just to you". If you ever get to hear/see him live, definitely take that opportunity. I was at his concert in NY in 2019, and other than being in complete shock because he really is this perfect singer and the best in the world, the whole concert was stunning.

    • Yes fellow dear, I was there too! It was just absolutely mesmerizing! The joy to be there with him the love from his to the audience and vice versa, it is such an otherworldly exoerience and yet, he is so human, so sweet and so breathtaking...we sang and cried with him!

  • The thing about this vocalise - he has done a lot of them, and every time the improvisations are completely different. One of the most amazing pieces of music for me. And on top of the incredible runs, the emotion that he can deliver without words is insane.

    • @@mylesastinnette6208 . Sveta is a Soprano not an Opera Singer. Many people confuse the terms. While there many types of voices including Soprano that perform Operas, Not all of these voices perform Operas. To explain: Opera is a form of theatre with music as a fundamental component & dramatic roles are taken by singers. Opera incorporates many performing arts, such as acting, scenery, costume, and sometimes dance or ballet. In simple terms an Opera is a stage play with the performers Singing the dialogue along with their acting.

  • This is one of my favorites. To me, it's hypnotic, meditative, euphoric, primal, and incredibly sensual. I love the layers and the way it gently builds as it progresses. If I ever want to escape day to day life for a few minutes, this is my go to. I've always loved eastern influences in music, (Led Zeppelin and Jeff Buckley used them a lot), so this is like heaven to me. Loved the reaction. I never noticed the falling out of key thing before. Another new thing I've learned from getting a producer's perspective, which I really enjoy and appreciate. P.S. Lucas cracks me up. 😁 😊

I'd like to see you reacting to a song dedicated to her, a song which Dimash learned in 2 days and sang in his Arnau Kiev concert, song called " Marigolds"!!! Also, since you're reacting to the king, I think it's time for you to discover the Queen, SoHyang, a singer who decided to sing only for God and for people comfort!!! There is such silence that you can hear the pin falling. Dimash hypnotizes his musicians too. Look at them carefully. All this magic is simply not possible to explain. Notice how Dimash works with the microphone. Notice the waterfall and the wandering lanterns like big stars. All this together with the voice of Dimash drives you crazy.

  • In a video of Dimash, he once said,"If you cut my brain open you will only see music and if you cut my heart open it will bleed music, and if you cut my soul open music will pour out. Dimash and his mother were on a tv show in Kazachstan' where she showed a picture Dimash drew when he was very little. It was a stage and lights and a straw figure singing with notes trailing across the paper. She said Dimash said, "that is me when I grow up".

  • I saw him at his NYC concert. It was the best concert I have ever been to in my life, and I've been to quite a few. Not only was Dimash, of course, amazing, but there was just a wave of energy and love throughout the whole arena. I seriously had a sense of loss for about 4-5 days afterwards. It was the most bizarre feeling I've ever had.

    • I read a review where some moron said the New York concert was very disorganised, started really late, and so bad for sound she hated it and claimed that lots of people walked out before it finished. Thousands said it’s the best concert they have ever been to but she said it was one of the worse she has been to. I think she must be a “hater” and just wanted to leave a bad review and probably never even went to it. No one expects “live” music to be as perfect as on the video, it’s usually always louder than the singer, but it’s in a big stadium, that’s what happens. But not one other person complained except her.

  • Now that you have seen Dimash sing without words, you need to watch, "River of Love" where it is only an instrumental. Dimash on the Dombra, and his friend and the composer of the music on the keyboard.

  • He is just that good 😊 20+ years of study and training and he continues to study. Dimash does not limit himself to one genre. Opera, jazz, R&B, pop and rock. He does it all and he does them well. Quoting Dimash " I am a music lover by nature and I don't want to miss the opportunity to experiment".... Dimash is involved in every aspect of his concerts and performances - collaboration, production, and musical arrangement. Every thing is purposeful and he's only 27. Genius. I love watching your reactions and hearing your insights into this incredible artist, thank you and keep them Coming. ❤️from Australia 🇦🇺

    • I think you are referring to Erlan. He is Dimash's friend who does the arrangements and sound. Dimash often refers to him as his best friend who is like a brother. The lovely backing vocalist Jordan is married to Erlan. Mr Piano man (I don't know his name sorry) has been in his band for quite a while now. I think since the Arnau tours began but I might be wrong.

    • I know the pianist is a long term thing, but I don't know how much he helps with the mixing. I do know that Yerlan Bekchurin (his permanent sound producer--he is not the pianist here) is very involved in arrangements and the final product--he deserves a real shout-out too.

  • You talked about his concerts, it's just another kind of experience. Seriously, I remember reading comments about people all saying how his voice was even more beautiful and at least 3 times more powerful when you hear it live and still I wasn't ready for my first concert of Dimash, or my second x) I was in the audience for the very first performance of this song (not the one you watched) in Moscow, and I can't describe it, it was just magical. If you have the occasion to see him in concert one day, go for it, you won't regret it.

It doesn't matter if he does it with a head voice or Arabic melismas, this guy is epic in what he does, he is the ultimate singer. He's the GOAT ... Period.

  • His concerts are just unbelievable. 3 hours seems like 30 minutes to the audience. He puts everything he has into it and you see photos after the concert and he is exhausted. I can not wait to experience it again and hopefully he will return to the states soon. Rumor was he planned on moving here for a short time anyway but then covid so who knows.

  • Thank you both for a great reaction and discussion! Yes, you are right... Dimash is often a breathtaking experience. Sometimes I notice I've hold my breath a long time, until he finishes and i can breathe normally again. Also brain can't take such amount of epic at the same time:) But I love that. When I listen more I then pick up many details, every time different ones. Dimash's music can be listened endlessly and always get something new. I found it interesting, that you discussed his musical experimenting. It really seems that Dimash is an explorer in music - always searching new sounds, new ways to sing and mix styles... How exciting it has to be.
