This video shows how to make a high performance graphite pencil soldering iron step by step. You can also follow and you can make one good one.   • This so helpful when there's no solder gadget near your place or hardware shop and could be it price not cheap enough to buy,so this'll solved everyone hassle ..but I'd have a lil'bit confused when following this DIY step cause you didn't shown which one is the positive wire and which one is negative wire..!?? i’m afraid it will not worked if I'd wired with a wrong selected one..much appreciate if you can explain it more detail..Thankyou.

    • Yes and you will get a faster and more heating the graphite will glow red hot and will eventually burning and setting pencil's wood on fire which might burn most of your things down also if you accidentally touch the tip while standing on ground you will get a nice 240 volts at 50 to 60 Hz AC through you and then you will be dead soon.

    • Technically u can use any wire but the wire needs to be a good inuf conductor that's why it works OK on graphite and copper
