I've heard those toilets of leaking. I opted for a bucket with thick trash bags and septic smell. Little pods. And it works great 👍
After about a year ours started leaking out of the pump, only on bad bumpy roads (which we find ourselves on often!). I'm glad you found something that works for you!
1st. WD-40 with the doors. 😂. 2nd DO NOT leave the guitar in front. The glass will be broken and someone will take it. Nothing valuable in front. I saw it on another video. Enjoy!

So organized and efficient! Love it. For cleaning your sink and also as a disinfectant safe for pets have you tried white vinegar in a spray bottle? No rinsing needed...you can even wash your dishes with it.

I love what you've done with your tiny home on wheels. And it's really nice to see how well-organized everything is. That takes thought and consistency. I'm really impressed with everything you've done and your attention to detail. Ery sorry to hear about your transmission, but I hope you're able to resolve that soon. Knee-saving idea: instead of the little chair or your knees, have you thought about an adjustable short stool on castors? I haven't researched what's out there because I have a high ceiling in my van, but maybe it's something that can make life more. Comfortable. Best, Lauren 😊

@@kaydeandkatrina I totally agree!! I found a cigarette lighter plug in for a USB charger in the back of my SUV and got excited over it like I found a long lost toy from my childhood. Now I can charge my phone in the back of the car when im sleeping 🥳🥳

i have a 92 van. running wires in the walls is super easy. the window frames/curtains come out in one piece with about 4 screws. then you have access to the interior of the walls.
Thanks for the tip! You're right about that. We actually did our electrical last, so all of our cabinets and the bed were already installed. It was easier for us to just run them behind all of the furniture. Haven't seen them since!

We did end up getting the transmission fixed about a year ago! Klyde just turned 12. Your a Clyde and Bonnie sound so sweet! ❤️

This rocks, probably one of my favorite builds I’ve ever seen- not over the top but has everything you need and still cozy. Clear, to the point, and great editing!! I’ll link it here if you want to watch it. kzhead.info/sun/jMdqf6WXbmSpoHk/bejne.htmlsi=lk2HwH8QYLGwYbPl We have done some upgrades since that video, most notably our electrical system, and we got a new transmission, new tires, etc… so we are over the amount we stated in that video but it’s covers it all for the most part! We love starlink! We haven’t had any problems with it! Awesome! Good luck with your build! If you have anymore questions we would be happy to help! ☺️
1 make sure it's not out of fluid 2 the modulator could cause it not to shift if the vacuum line comes off 3 make sure the screen isn't clogged up, you will have to drain it and take the pan off to get to the screen 4 if there are a couple circuit breakers on the firewall that run to the transmission make sure they have good connection and are working 5 you could remove the valve body from the transmission and blow out all the offices and clean check balls and their little springs 6 a short cut that I usually try to help determine what is going on is to put the rear end up on blocks well away from the ground and see if you can get the wheels to turn at all while it is running by shifting from forward to reverse etc, and if it is determined that the bands are worn out you can use a Lucas transmission additive that will coat the bands and get it moving so. you can get somewhere. If you put it up on jackstands or what ever be very careful and don't don't let it move or fall off of the jack stands, but it's usually not a problem and spinning the wheels at high rpms is not necessary.
Hey, we appreciate all of the advice! We ended up putting a remanufactured transmission in our van shortly after this video came out, about a year ago. It's been running strong ever since!

No problem! All said and done it was $3700. We've put around 10k miles on the new transmission and haven't had any issues!

Hi vannners some good free advice. Do yourselves a favour . Get rid of the Mr Buddy. Give it away if you have to . A catalytic heater produces a lot of moisture when it operates. This moisture can find its way into the wall and ceiling cavities and do a lot of damage to the interior or your can. Get a vented heater like a webasto or a Chinese nockoff diesel heater. Or if you want a heater that runs off your gas tank you can get a webasto or one of the cheaper gas heaters. They all vent the combustion exhaust to the outside and WILL not cause the damage that a Mr Buddy style heater can cause. Do your own research on this topic. Have a nice day. Appreciate the insight Tom! We're aware of the risks of using the Mr Buddy heater indoors. Luckily we haven't had to use it often, and when we do it's only in short spurts. Our van is insulated quite well! If we were in a situation where we needed a heater more often we would definitely go with one of the options you recommended. The name of the company that originally converted this van was called Glaval, which is the same company that has been manufacturing shuttle buses since 1999. Alex & Emma's (Travel Beans from the UK) first US van that caught on fire was a 1988 Ford Econoline 250 extended van that was converted by Coachmen as the Dearborn Class B camper model. They're now back in the US living in a 1997 Dodge Ram Class B camper van.

A little bit of plywood to slide over the door when you have or want the doors open so the we dog is secure and another dog can't get in but he can just Wander around good build are you guys doing more videos like permanently utube. The plant, could be (no name) 😂.

I believe it's around 17 ft front to back. With the spare tire and the bike rack setup it comes in right around 20 ft!
anyone can buy a 150k sprinter camper van. Its hardcore and shows a passion to live free if all you have it the money for a old chevy van and you choose that as your home. You are badass
