  • It's also very important to keep a note that this story took place in South Korea, a country very closed off and reserved despite being one of the most advanced countries in the world, if u don't fit the societies norm, u will be rejected, doesn't matter the setting. Here the setting was school although when mentioned bullying it was very lightly said in a sentence not in depth, the reality of SK bullying situation is one of the worst I have ever come across, judging by how his parents were able to afford two different houses in SK housing situation, they're rich, so he went to a rich kids school, n rich private schools of SK are on a whole different level of evil, literal psychopaths in the name of kids n no support from school cus 'RICH KIDS', no wonder they had to pull him out n he became a whole different person along with the rest of the people, being different n liking ballet if u r a boy, chosing to be a musician n God lgbt... these r things that really r not accepted in SK, maybe they're improvement in some places over the years, but mostly its a big NO, changes like these r a long way to come in this country Idk why I went on a rant over here, but I felt like I should explain the depth of these situation a lil bit of the graveness of the story that is coming from that country, in other countries it might have been a tad bit easier but not in South Korea, so this truly was smtg.

    • I know this seems out of topic but personally the main character made me uncomfortable, like , you can't just write about people's secrets or "embarrassing moments" , like she basically stalks people....and in the end it never explained how the boy's secrets were revealed Btw I would like to ask , I'm not from South Korea but do these "journalists of highschool" exist ? Is it OK to just write people secrets in there , I'm not trying to assume anything since this story is fictional but I would like to know , also I did hear about the bullying in South Korea was really high and how screwed up you'd be if you don’t fit their standards and also heared about the overwork of their students , it's sad really :(

    • @@lumityviktuuristanartist4100 I mean....tho it's creepy n certainly NOT OK for mc to do this, again in sk its soo common that people don't question or see the aftermath of these, take the k entertain industry for example, they don't let their artists live in peace, always snooping in there business n revealing sensitive information, theses a full GOD DAMN COMPANY, 'Dispatch' whose sole purpose is to stalk celebrities n reveal their private info, especially on Jan 1, every new year they expose sensitive info abt celbs n the worst part? People anticipate for this day where every year someone life changes for the worst (most time), as Korean people don't treat celebrities as humans but rather their personal smtg, don't like when they start dating or building their own lives away from camera, they literally end peoples whole career with this bs, not just career, they get death threats n cyber bullied = plenty of swecide cases N it's common in schools as well, people anticipate when one someone private info is leaked on websites, sometimes goes soo advanced that they make their own silly lil sites n create membership so that exclusive kids can get sensitive info abt their classmates or sometimes teachers as well n use it as blackmail or further bullying, turning em into their personal slave, if they don't obey they will leak it to destroy their lives. In some cases like hers, she revealed it directly with no intention to use those people for her own benefit, just did it for truth? Idk sh1t's messed up that's for sure.

  • I swear the part where hanah fell and was exposed by dante and his parents got my anxiety going up- I always feel embarrassed for the main character to experience something like this that im like “NO-NO I HAVE TO SKIP..
