Piers Morgan's Baby Reindeer ‘Real’ Martha Fiona Harvey Interview Reviewed
Alex Phillips and The Sun's Hannah Hope review Piers Morgan's exclusive interview with Fiona Harvey, the 'real' Martha from Netflix hit series Baby Reindeer.
Fiona Harvey said she has been “forced” into telling her side of the story after receiving death threats from “internet sleuths” following the release of the Netflix show.
In the drama series inspired by the real-life experiences of comedian and writer Richard Gadd, his character Donny is stalked by a woman named Martha Scott after he serves her a free cup of tea in the pub where he works.
On Piers Morgan Uncensored, Ms Harvey repeatedly denied stalking Gadd in real life, describing the show as “a work of fiction, a work of hyperbole”.
The 58-year-old claimed that she was prepared to go to a court of law to defend herself against allegations made in the series.

In the interview, she sounds exactly like the actress who played Martha. She sounds narcissistic, egoistic and it sounds like she believes what she's saying. She doesn't wanna sue Netflix so enthusiastically even when she has an idea the show made millions. If she's right she could be a millionaire for sure . She doesn't seem so happy to go for a lie detector test which is fishy . In the start she said I met Richard garr twice but in the end she's saying 5 -6 times Honestly it would be better if she didn't out herself. Talk about blaming the victim. We empathise with her because he gave her a charitable and empathetic portrayal. If this was a mentally deranged man who was stalking a young person, none of this coverage would be going on. We keep hearing she is a vulnerable individual and he was a drug addict and not in the right mental space, but then why do we not care that he was vulnerable and this older woman exploited that and ruined years of his life. Why does his work where he copes with what happened to him get scruotinised for her sake when he didn't even name her? She named herself.

I havent watched it and NOW they have found the lady they think is the stalker. This is a real story based on her conviction; means she convicted at the court! The real question is that why she uncovered herself while the show protected her identity? She chose to do this. She has to agree and sign paperwork and GOT PAID for this interview so se consented to come forward, there's no reason to protect her identity when she's trying to get paid. Grab the popcorn on this legal battle and watch her lose.

I don't think it will let me post the link... but Richard Gadd recently did an interview with Forbes where he said that they disguised her enough that she wouldn't be able to recognize herself... it came out about a week ago and was called "the crazy true story about Netflix's baby reindeer"
