I agree, the boost needs to be so much more. This season felt so much harder than the last one, just for a few star drops that barely give you anything.

The modifiers make the game fun and interesting, but I HATE barbed ammo, it essentially gives everyone crows annoying poison daggers

The problem is just that they're rather useless if someone with a braincell knows what they do and just annoying if you pick a brawler that can't counter them well. It's even worse if you're stuck on gold and can't ban them (literally me in the past 2 weeks, although i'm way more shit at the game.)

When they said you get a boost for reaching different ranked tiers, i thought they ment they would make it so you don't have to play certain tiers like you skip bronze if you played the last season, maybe silver if you got mythic and above. But no, it just only very slightly helps you reach new tiers faster, and you still have to go through the pain of bronze-silver-gold no matter what.
Imo giving us the ability to skip entire tiers feels a bit too much. But they should correct their rank boost system, and make it give us an actual boost so it feels much easier to grind back to our previous rank
They should make ranked drops only give cosmetics (no bling) and buff the skin chance to 15% and every rank up will give you a bonus 250 bling on top of a ranked star drop
The mods are nice and all but Istg it’s like playing peek a boo with barbed ammo because it takes to long to heal after getting hit once

I think ranked should be like path of legends of clash royale. The rewards are not random and for example there is an emote always in the same place. There is no ELO, it's like ten wins every league with no strange calculations, there are also checkpoint every few wins that are always more difficult to reach in higher leagues. And the season boost starts from ten if you reach the highest league to zero and multiplies the win with that number. You can skip the first League with just one game to be clear

I agree with the rank boost being mad low but overall I think ranked is great. I never played power league but play ranked to get the mythic and legendary star drops. They should buff the skin drop rate though cause I got to legendary and didn't get a skin and I'm mythic this season with still no skin
Right! Ranked may be great now, but I'm pretty sure you won't find it as fun a few seasons from now. These days getting a mythic or legendary drop is pretty easy. And it won't feel worth the grind especially when you have to really grind all the way back to your previous league every single month, since the boost is basically useless 😭

Guaranteed skin is a good idea! Although I would say having it at Legendary 1 makes sense. With the current system, it's too easy to grind to Diamond. The drafting doesn't even start till then...😅

I suggest a play again button. When i play and i finnaly find a good random , i wanna play with them , but i dont get to see them in suggested either , and im not sure a random gonna accept my friend request after a match

I mostly agree nut Not with the 25,000 One, maybe 15 or 20,000 i also have a problem this season when it reset (im in Gold now) i get opponents that are in mystic or higher while i only get both mates as Gold so i can't win, its impossible for me (a more casual Player) to rank up what i mean is, the matchmaking is unbalanced

first season i got mythic 2 in one day, mind you i got 0 skins just bling and 2 profile icons, this season i thought i would get lucky so pushed to mythic, and again no skin 😔

I hate the players you get on my team but just making it harder to get to ranked doesnt feel like the solution. There are probably really good players that just dont have time to grind at least 12 brawlers to power 10 and to grind ladder so.
It's not making it harder to get ranked. 20k and getting 12 power 10s is not a challenge at all. A fairly active player can easily get both requirements within several months of playing. By then at least they could have some basic understanding of how to play the same. We can't expect noobies and new players to draft properly or pick the right brawler for the map. And even if they want to they can't cause they barely have unlocked any brawlers. They are forced to pick what they have. Which is one more problem. Also, if someone can't get 10 out of the 75 brawlers in the game to power 10 (and not even 11) and can't even make it to 20k out of 70k trophies, that person is a complete casual or is just trash at the game who won't have the interest nor time to play ranked anyway. Ranked needs more solid, higher skilled players and we need to filter out the casuals and beginners.

Great vid but i do disagree with some of your points. Firstly i do like modifiers. They a bring so much freshness to the game makes this real interesting. Things like timed detonation and big friend feel really fun to play with and makes the grind a lot more bearable. And while not all modifiers are balanced (Looking at you quickfire) its still a good time. And There is no way any "bad player" is getting into lengendary and that where the pain REALLY starts. Personally i think the game is in great state right now and i cant wait to see more!

I dont agree with the opinion that pl is better than ranked and ranked's bad. While the ranked inflation is in fact real like how when i would shit my pants when i saw a mythic or a legendary guy pl wise in my game, but ranked is just much more fun with the modifiers changing up the meta causing it not to be stale, brawlers like gale are just godlike which make almost ever ybrawler balanced. The bad randoms are gonna be reduced to nothing soon cuz of teh reports, bots in ranked arent even real, ending aat bronze or silver. id much rather get a 1k coins or a chance of a hypercharge than bling or starpoints most dumbasses cant get carried past legendary I because of the heavily punishing losses making masters far more limited than you think.
While I agree that Ranked is more fun than Power League, that doesn't mean it's more competitive or that it's a better system. The bad randoms in Ranked are far worse than in power league. The fact there are 15-20k players who have barely any experience in the game reaching Mythic and Legendary league says everything about the system. Some are even being carried to Masters which is crazy. This system is flawed and so the bad randoms won't change if any noob is allowed to play Ranked. Which is why I suggested a barrier to entry to play Ranked. Modifiers are fun until Diamond. The casuals can enjoy them. However, after that all they do is make the game play less representative of the trophy road, which makes the mode feel less serious and more random. I think mods should definitely exist until Diamond, but should be removed after that imo. Reporting will do nothing for the bad randoms, trust me. Also, Masters in Power League felt much more of an accomplishment than Masters in Ranked. I've seen complete noobs with 25-30k who have peaked in Gold in PL getting Masters in Ranked. And it's because they are getting carried by pros or experienced players. Ranked doesn't feel serious or structured enough. It's supposed to be a competitive gamemode. Everything else in the game is goofy. Ranked at least should not feel that way but it does. If this system does not change, Ranked will feel stale and un motivating sooner than you think. The mode is still new, it's only a matter of time till that happens. Hopefully they will make changes before then.

I think you got your facts wrong. Power League used to guarantee us starpoints at every tier before it was changed to 250 bling and then it eventually became 125. The most common reward you can get in every Ranked drop (I got this most of the time) is that trash 100 bling. Unless you get lucky, you'll probably get a pin or spray or the 100 bling. So, which system was more rewarding? I think you can do the math. They need to really buff the minimum bling that we get from every rank drop. Also fyi I have all the brawlers in the game and I'm at solar fame. So I have zero problem with credits. I was talking about all those who are new to the game or are still collecting brawlers.

The worst case is 400 compared to 375 because you get 4 100 drops as opposed to 3 125 bling rewards which results in more bling. Your math ain't mathing buddy. There are two rank drops per league. So Ranked only "guarantees" us 200 bling per tier (it's not even a guarantee since you can also get pfp, icon and spray) while Power League used to give a guaranteed 375 for every league. 375>200. Basic maths. Power league guaranteed more bling than Ranked. Where did you get 400 from?
@@hazbrawls .while yes per seasson it is indeed 200; 1 power league seasson lasts 2 months while the one for ranked is 1 month meaning that the rewards normally would need to be exaxtly half to be the same; but 200>185 so there is more bling. Also mathemically speaking the odds are of getting a pfp picture should balance out with the 250 bling; which have the same chance but also because the fallback reward for pfp and sprays is like 150 and170 so if you played power league in the last year you should be guaranteed a fallback reward if you ever get more than 1 of pfp and spray. Again this doesnt include the 88% chance of someone who hits legendary every seasson of getting an epic skin and 92% chance if they hit masters every seassons nor the legendary star drops; which yes are relevant cause are 4-6 of them
You're right on the maths. I forgot that every Ranked season is only 1 month long. But even then, the fact that both systems are so similar in rewards says a lot. 375 and 400 bling are crappy rewards. Ranked was supposed to be super "rewarding" compared to power league which it clearly isn't. Hence why I think the guaranteed bling rewards in Ranked needs a buff. Btw I didn't get a single skin last season despite reaching legendary 1. Just useless sprays and icons and a few 100 bling. Just because skins have a 10 percent chance from the drops doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen after 10 drops. That's not how probabilities work. It's still completely random.

Respect your opinion, curious on your logic here. To me it's pretty clear that one of the biggest problems with ranked is how they made it accessible to nearly everyone. No wonder we encounter so many bad randoms. Players who have unlocked barely a handful of brawlers let alone get them to power 10 are not only playing ranked but also getting to higher leagues like diamond. That's ridiculous in my opinion! The best solution is to add ranked to be unlocked on the trophy road much later on, so in that way at least those who play ranked will have basic experience and common sense when playing. 25k seemed reasonable to me as it's very easy to reach especially nowadays. Maybe I can lower it to 20k, but nothing below that as then it won't make a difference with the bad randoms.

Maybe 10k would be more realistic, but to people who are new, 25k trophies is really kinda far off and makes the skill gap really large

That wouldn't make any difference to the bad randoms, since most of the players until the 25k range or maybe even above don't have the experience nor the skill to draft properly, pick lanes and just play at a good level. I feel ranked should be something new players should work towards. After all every other mode is accessible to them very early on. At least there should be one mode which takes more effort to unlock. That will serve as extra motivation for newer players to push. Btw 25k is very easy to push nowadays in with win streaks. Someone who is playing ladder regularly can get there in a few months. Right now ranked is available to literally every single player out there, so what's happening is that the experienced og players, the decent ones, the pros and the bad randoms (new inexperienced players who are just bad) are all being matched together, and this is causing ranked to feel like a very bad experience cause the ones who take it seriously like me are being matched with one week old players. This is why I think ranked should be available only after a certain point. Newbies don't deserve to play ranked. No way they can be competitive when they just started the game. This is my very strong opinion!
