As a Wiha tester I’ve had the pocket max for about 4 months now , it’s an amazing screwdriver and is the most used driver in my kit , love all my wiha stuff, it’s so well made
Great video team eFIXX 🦾💕🦾
I have went through at least 10 of the pop ups, I'm ordering this one to try it out as a Feild service electrician for industrial and power generation carrying an insulated screwdriver that is multi bit is a necessity
🔥🔥🔥
Nice bit of kit that, I think the centre spine peice between the bits could be a screwdriver bit holder in the future ;), good yt
That is the magnet that holds it in place
I've just ordered one. I've got 2 of the lift up which I use all the time. They are a bit big so hopefully this one will be nicer. Also, I hope they don't fall apart like the liftup. I've been waiting for the successor to the liftup. Liftup 2.0
👍🏻
@@efixx Its actually 3.0 I have an earlier version called Wiha fliptop. It was insulated but used normal 1/4" hex bits. The bit holder was too chunky so was a bit useless.
I have pre ordered one, but it doesnt tell me anywhere when it will be sent out. Any ideas?
I thought about buying but when I saw the selection of bits I was disappointed, would of loved a 4.5
does anyone offer 48 volt lighting products? I am interested in battery bank operations from solar rather than power supply operations..
This would’ve been nice when I last went to visit my parents in Cyprus, amount of times I heard “can you just?” while I was there was especially annoying when the tools available were a bit crap
I got this, absolutely handy but 1 downfall is that if 1 bit that you happened to use all the time broke, you needa replace the whole thing. Better just get the traditional one, so its easier for replacement.
You can buy bits separately one at the time if you need.
Not really a review, I have the old pop up version and was wondering if this new one is better?
Nice gadget.. but i own too much wera kit and the ocd wont allow it .. torx should be on more kit.. much better fixing
Wiha seem to be bring out some good drivers combos, maybe time I got a few Wiha drivers see how they go up against Wera 🤔
Go on treat yourself
Wiha “Tools that work for you “😊 great review
👍🏻
Just side note eFIXX can you please ask Wiha to bring back the Advent Calendars
i have the pop-out wiha.. and as it turns out. now all my bits are in my pocket becouse everything inside broke within 2 months.. crappy quility for what could be great
Multi-screwdrivers are supplementary kits, they'll never replace individual screwdrivers. That said, it'd be nice to see tailored kits to geographical region. In NZ (New Zealand) we use 3mm flat, Phillips 2, Robertson (square 2), and 4mm flat all day long. It's a little frustrating when Wiha kits omitt the No.2 Sqre drive, have a 3.5/5mm flat, a Pozi 2 (Which is used for circuit breakers, but not really used if you know what I mean...), and generally are ill suited to our requirements. Let me just say, I love Wiha - one of the only brands who does a 3mm flat slimline screwdriver blade perfect for nz, and also a screwdriver profile that is nonsense free (looking at you WERA) and functions perfectly. Pop up screwdriver is too large, and also has bad reviews over time. Haven't used it myself, but reluctant to try given the negative reviews for general longevity.
Um abraço aqui do Brasil. 👏 👏👏👏
I just put on the video and out of the 6 comments I saw 4 were spam messages. This is getting outrageous.
Sorry
@@efixx I know not your fault it is the youtube spam and bot detection that is bad. I have seen a video of a youtuber who built a spam detector for youtube and it was far better at detecting spam messages in a video than the youtube has itself. They never update this and it gets annoying when I am trying to read comments for other people's reviews and suggestions and all I see is comment's with spam links and some spammers even have suggestive usernames and profile pictures to lure people in and others just try to impersonate youtubers pretending to do giveaways
Looks like a pain to keep changing bits and they look quite tight to remove....
Looks ok hard pass for me though you will never beat a tool pouch with the drivers I need
The ordering process for a simple screwdriver is shit. I will order from elsewere. First time effix has let me down.
What’s the problem here John?
@@efixx Ordered one myself off the link, worldpay acknowledged taking the payment but as yet no confirmation from express electrical, four days down the line, not particularly express.
You guys should stand for government, they also seem to be paid to say all the right things!!
Government saying the right things - which country do you live in?
Put it in your wash bag when you go on holiday to another country so you can tinker with the electrics? Good luck getting that past customs as it will be classed as an offensive weapon. And it will show up on the e X-ray scanner. How do you explain why your carrying just one tool and not a full tool bag. ? . Really not the best sujestion from Gordon. 😂 Nice tool though shame about the price. £29.99+vat .? Fantastic video guy’s as always 👍👍❤️
Hold baggage 🧳 Shaun
@@efixx yes but as I said it will show up on the x-ray scanner and it will won’t make it onto the flight . I used to work at BA world cargo at Heathrow so I know. But to be fair there are times when things do get through. Oh and it’s Sean not shaun
Also why would you want to tinker with the electrics in another country when your not authorised to do so ? And if the house keeper comes in to change the bed and replace the bath tails and she sees you with a screwdriver in your hand and a socket outlet hanging off the wall how do explain to the wife and kids why you have been kicked out of the you’re hotel .
@@Dog-whisperer7494 Sean, I have taken tools on flights overseas multiple times without issue. I have always put them in checked-in baggage as per official advice from airports and airlines. As I understand it, x-ray checks before a flight are more about dangerous items and explosives. Customs are more interested about what ARRIVES in a country. Every country uses tools, so why would customs be worried unless you were bringing a bulk amount to sell? With carry on bags, pre-flight security absolutely will stop you when they see tools. I'm a gold status frequent flyer.
@@KendalMike yes your right but we’re talking one single tool Not a tool bag/engineer’s case With wold Sagest your travelling for work . Why would you take just one tool? As you said you have taken tools, (tools ,not a tool)
hello sir i also do the same work and i want to do better work by staying with you and i am from india and i need job
