I think the ds3 mechanic where you collect ashes all over the game and you were allowed to buy items for souls was pretty good
@@zuza671 That's literally in Elden Ring. It's called "bell bearings" instead of "umbral ash." FS should've just added more bell bearings for the materials and other items you otherwise have to farm for.
My honest reaction where you have to repeat an entire playthrough pretty much to completion to get more +10/+25 upgrade stones, and it's not like, depending on how many weapons you want to try out, you have to do it once or twice or even thrice.
I actually farm material for my invasion, Drawstring Rot Grease is more Luxurious than u think, drop rate of Aeonian Butterfly is 1.5% from Kindred of Rot, drop rate of String is 5% from Demi-human. Just quit your job and run a Drawstring Grease shop in Land Between and you'll be richest men alive in no time.

Don't waste your life for the love of god. At the very least use ps save upload and download to reuse the same few greases.

@@Aboobaykerps4 only, but you can click on menu in Elden ring to convert ps4 file to ps5 and just load the file

Or another way to do it is where you don't have to buy that save wizard is just reload your save from the usb drive when you had a bunch of rot greases.

Hey everyone, I found a free workaround for the SaveWizard to convert PS4 saves before using the Nexus Mod and posted the steps here but it got removed. So if interested let me know via comments and will then potentially post it on reddit somewhere.

What behaviors would be considered unsafe? Giving myself a bunch of Rune items or alter my rune count to level up is more unsafe than just editing my spread?

I've noticed one thing with all this save managers. When you create a duplicate of your character it is still linked to the original one. What I mean: imagine that you have a character with no rank in any category in pvp colosseum (you can see this in the colosseum menu), if you duplicate this character and up your rank (either with the original character or with the copied one), you will notice that the same rank icon is now shown for *every* character. I believe there is some sort of global character ID (not only your account has an ID, but apparently each character as well). If it's true, than the game treats all dupe characters as the same during any online activity (invasions, messages, coop, colossuem pvp etc) and may detect this as a anomaly which may potentially cause ban or something. I'm not sure if my deduction is 100% correct though

Thanks Steel was waiting for this follow-up video, glad it's safe to use! Aint no way I'm paying 60$ on top of the 80$ spent to buy the game though. But at least that PS4 version being better somewhat than the PS5 is great info, would be nice to make a video showing the difference between versions.

Had so much hope after your first video regarding this topic from a few weeks ago, but i am NOT paying 50$ to do this. I can do it for free in the span of 2 days or so, muling everything to a new character and getting a maxed weapon in a few hours wont make me feel as guilty as paying 50$ to do this😖
If I try to make build from scratch and give them a lot of gear my game crashes 90% of the time when I try to load that character. Does anyone know what causes this issue?

You only need a second Xbox to duplicate. I still use my old Xbox one x to duplicate stuff for my Xbox series x.
It’s actually a good thing that you can’t do this for Xbox. Normal duplication works, but anything more means ganks on Xbox have less potential in power. That said removing the regions for invasions is the best part of this and maxing out raw dumplings and radiant baldachins blessing.
04:35 is de-leveling really safe?
Deleveling won't get you banned as long as stats spread makes sense. Clayamore's save editor is idiot-proof in this regard so deleveling should be perfectly fine.
@@Steelovsky should it also de-upgrade the whole weapon in inventory and storage to match the matchmaking for desired rune level?

No, you cannot currently move saves from the ps5 version of the game to the ps4 version.
save editor crashes whenever I click "save" or "open"
Idk if it’s the USB I’m using or what but it didn’t work for me, can go through all steps and it saves then when I move it back to the PS only some of the items I added show up. but it says my inventory is full even tho I can’t actually see them in the inventory. Also can’t move anything from storage to on hand cuz it says it’s full but like I said you can’t see the items. Also it takes away all weapons in my storage but I have a weapon in hand that isn’t showing in the inventory. I guess I will grab a newer usb and try it again.

The Digital Foundry comparison video made when the game was launched showed the PS4 version on the PS5 maintaining 60 FPS while the PS5 version occasionally dropped to around 56, maybe as low as 53 (gasp!). But it's possible that patches to the game and console could create different results if those tests were to be redone now.
Oh man i appreciate effort you put in this but i worry we are gonna see twink builds on console with this, which is horrible, i know this was always the case on pc but consoles were always "safe environment"

Im sorry i knew that the ps4 version of the game played on the ps5 is the best in terms of fps performance. Basically no drops. Is there anything else? Like input lag? I went from pc to ps5 because I felt the game had more input lag. Please don’t tell me ps5 has more input lag than the ps4 my ocd can’t take it…
PS5 definitely doesn't have worse input lag than PS4. In fact, it might be a little better. To be honest I think the input LAG is the same, but I feel like fewer inputs DROP. That was a problem I noticed on the PS4 that doesn't seem to be as much of a problem on PS5.

The ps4 is the best version. Not only that but if you have the ps4 version you can upgrade to the ps5 version for free on psn. If you bought Elden Ring digitally you have access to both the ps4 and ps5 version. You are pretty much out of luck if you bought the ps5 physical copy though.

Are you on PC? If that's the case just backup the files and do mostly light edits, like adding some weapons, upgrades on the "running files", if anything strange happens just back it up with the older one btw i mistakenly got myself 999 max upgrade stones both somber and normal lol, I think that was a bug though, I pressed on 20 It says nothing, I don't really think they carefully check everything, this still doesn't mean that I would exaggerate

This is a major problem the gaming commuity is solely responsible for. They want more content and are very critical however most grind the game without much appreciation or find shortcuts. Saint Riot for example beats the game with every character. Knowing the Elden Ring community their jimmies will be ruffled by this one. Nerds
I have something like 6 or 7 characters, I still want to have different builds but it's just... Tiring. I can't get more than X full upgrade stones, I have to grind those super low % for weapons, I have to get every flask upgrade and quantity and run for miles with torrent. I still don't want to really cheat, but I can't judge those who want to have fun with PvP and have more builds, it's literally wasted time to play the same game again (unless you're having fun, that's another thing)
I miss the ease of starting a new character like in ds3. You can build pretty much any character you want within a couple hours. Sure you can do the same in ER but due to the open world it's much more spread out and you have to hyper focus with a wiki by your side to achieve the same goal. Not to mention that you'll likely be playing around 1 somber weapon since that's the easiest to upgrade fast. Whereas in ds3 you have more options available much sooner. Just the nature of an open world game vs. a more linear game. Sucks but it does take the fun out of replaying to build different characters.
There are no shortcuts for a lot of required PvP materials, only brainrotting mindless grinding of low level enemies for hours. I WISH there was interesting ways to make it quicker, but the best you can do is rest at grace, kill 4 or 5 enemies, rest at grace, repeat.

don't hate the player, hate the game. it's been like this since DS1 since they refuse to make certain materials easily accessible, and ER is the most egregious case of this, what with all the crafted consumables and low drop rates for the materials required to craft them. sure you could say "you don't need them", and you'd be right. however, we don't live in fantasy land and in the real world people want/like having every advantage they can get. plus, you're at a severe disadvantage vs people who do dupe stuff (pretty much everyone) sooo, yeah, have fun with that. you either dupe/save edit, or you spend 80% of your play time doing pve just so you can pvp 20% of the time.

@@TriggerHippieAnd it should be this way! Grinding and farming is always better than just using cheats, you can't trust people because they are gonna abuse it. Not only invaders will have infinite resources but gankers too. And people who won't use it are fucked
@@mohgceoofblood8235 I don't even use items, I just want to have multiple builds without grinding shitty +25/+10 stones (that are also limited), farm weapons with very low % of drop rate and spend another 5-6 hours randomly just to get a character done between leveling, getting flask upgrades, running endlessly between one place to another, getting every item that I need for a build for ANOTHER ENDLESS TIME. It's just useless and wasted time, and I'm saying this as a guy who played 6 or 7 characters just to have builds and they're fully legit. I don't think it's hard to understand how much wasted time there's on these characters, not even the respec saves you since they're not only limited but the resources for upgrades are as well limited so if you wasted a lot of +25/+10 on a str/fth build and you change to a mage build you're now just a choppy mage that you will never feel like it's properly done
