  • Hi Pierre, thanks for another informative video, i was impressed with the Silicon Housing Outex it looks like a better alternative to a plastic one. You had some important Accessories their to keep our Cameras safe from unpredictable weather and at the same time making photography easier and fun. And thanks to Jeremy for his input, i enjoyed this video. 😃

  • Unfortuntately for those of us with left master eyes and use the EVF, the thumbgrip ends up sticking the thumb into our right eye - I own a thumbgrip for my Fuji X-T20 and had to stop using it because of that. Also, the newer version of the Falcam F38 Shoulder Quick Release Plate (look for v2 that uses a flat retention bar rather than pin) will fit the Peak Design (Capture) base - both the old and newer (slim profile) bases (I have both bases due to warranty replacement of my old Clutch). It's a faster way to swap the camera strap in and out than using the anchor links and is compatible with the base you use for the PD Capture plate.

    @netchanok99@netchanok996 ай бұрын
    • Either sigma 55mm 1,4 (better sharpness, check a comparasion with sony's 50) or Sony e 50mm f 1,8 OSS ( the OSS version specifically) You can find it on used market with no issue. Besides all of that, you shoud've spent less money on the camera body, lens is what makes the picture a good picture.

      @user-vh3jk3xg1z@user-vh3jk3xg1z6 ай бұрын
    • i would recommend Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 since you want to buy 1 lens. It's a standard zoom with constant aperture f/2.8. It is my current setup as well, a6700 + Sigma 18-50 2.8

    • I have A6400 and when I take only one lens, it’s Sony 24mm F1.8 Z. This never fails me. It’s worth the money for this reasons: like 35mm FF, excellent drawing - microcontrast (you simply love the pictures, which are a bit different), great for portrait, street photo, indoor too, light enough, small enought and for lower noise in dark conditions you need to bring more light in it. The 2.8 is simply not enough, for me for often indoor shooting with APSC.

  • The whole "camera is a tool" mentality is such a disconnect from the reality of most photographers. I don't have $1500 laying around in case I ruin my gear. "Risk it or you might miss the shot of a lifetime"...but now I can't take any other photos until I save up the money to replace the gear I ruined.

  • $130 to $210 for that THUMB GRIP??????????? Most of these recommended accessories seem clunky, useless, or look like overpriced JUNK. EDIT: Oh I see, the one you link to is "only" $25. Still... it seems pointless to me, like an "accessory" someone dreamed up and marketed, that really isn't necessary. This video seems to me like a Home Shopping Channel infomercial, not a real review of anything really useful.
