The only drawback to stock lancer engines from around that year is that some have skinny rods unfortunately

Been following this series cuz I got a Mitsubishi Lancer coupe as well here in the Philippines. We got the 1.6L 4G92 version here though. Awesome series mate! Makes me wanna tubo mine as well!

I understand why regular Lancer's aren't very big in the car scene but personally I think they're pretty cool especially the Ralliart editions. Even though underpowered, some work can change that.

My mate used to have a ce lancer 2 door Coupe 1.8 and that had some semis exhaust and intake was such a good drivers car and wasent exactly slow kept up with a brz but yeah great handling just abit light above 160kph

Well first of all lancers and evo’s in general are just rare cars they aren’t daily traffic you see everywhere so that’d explain more about the car scene. Some are underpowered. My Lancer ralliart makes 237 stock. My Lancer GTS makes 170 stock i wouldn’t consider either underpowered?.. especially when paired to a manual transmission and mivec they don’t feel slow. Obviously those are still nothing compared to my Focus RS. But for what they are they move. And with turbos they get crazy.

There is a turbo version of that engine allready, that was sold en Europe with the Smart forfour brabus, so as far as I know it's perfectly ok to slap a turbo on it

In malaysia, theres a car with another form of 4G15 doing low 11's. Some even do bolt on turbo on carburated version. lol

If you read this, good on ya, I love the series. However your current lack of fueling on boost is going to kill it. Do it proper old school dodgy way. Add a Hobbs (pressure switch) switch to energise a 5th injector spraying fuel into the throttle body. Give it half a chance of making power and surviving. You'll even be able to set your base fuel pressure back to something drivable off boost.
