For this video, I visited a company that builds Japanese gardens in the region of Nagano, Japan.
They use native trees that grow in the mountains to create their gardens.
Please take a look at their special work scene.

  • Wonderful to see some wintery Nagano landscapes-even though I know it's not fun to operate a camera when your fingers are freezing.:) I realised that if you keep this up for another 40 years, you might be granted the status of 'national treasure' for documenting all these other natural treasures. Keep up the great work!

  • Wonderful and quite a incredible setting to create a garden in such a fine archetectual setting. A beautiful introduction of the stones. I live in high elevation mountains of California and I've been transplanting native trees, shrubs and flowers, along with propogating too for several decades. From the far reaches of our land closer to our home where I've created gardens over time. The beauty, intimate understanding and relationship with the plants and the seasons along with their relationships to the stones and water are always a fascinating observation and an honorable creative and skillful creative process and tremendous appreciation to be enjoyed for countless years to come....... Beautiful

  • I respect the care and attention that goes into using trees from the forest. It's amazing that the preparation begins a whole year before they can be moved.
