Elder Ardern teaches that humanitarian efforts are ways to show compassion to others and to follow the Lord’s command to “love thy neighbour.”
Compassion is an attribute of Christ. It is born of love for others and knows no boundaries.

I am asked to speak on this talk this week and this talk reminds me how important it is to count your blessings. While we count our blessings it is so important to remember the blessings of service that bring aid and joy to others who are struggling. It can be easy to forget the blessings of seeing people being helped out however this talk does a great job reminding us how much need is out there that is met by members offerings time, money, and love. I love the gospel and this talk!

I love how the focus of his message is on how we should keep the second greatest commandment, to love our neighbors as ourselves! If everyone were to do that in the world, we would be much more Christlike! God bless our wonderful brother's and sisters in Africa, as well as the Ukraine, Russia, and other countries that are having major challenges!
It's disappointing that some people will only see the race issue with the talk.
