A reunion with an old acquaintance in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Achmed Hossam, or Mido, is on holiday in Amsterdam with his family. The Egyptian came to Amsterdam at the beginning of this century and made a stunning impression on and off the field in just a season and a half. At that time, Mido played under coach Ronald Koeman together with his good friend Andy van der Meyde, and competed with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Time to reminisce with this 'Egyptian prince'.
Don't worry Mido you turned out alright. You matured eventually, and grew into a decent human being who admits his mistakes. That's far important than football.

Mido was a very talented striker, but unfortunately he didn't achieve what it was expected from him due to bad management for his talent from his side. He retired at the age of 30, and worked in worked as football manager in Egypt and Saudi for almost 6 years and he was the youngest manager to coach one of the biggest clubs in Egypt. Currently he is TV presenter and beside his own business.
