I was born in the Rhondda Valley of English parents but my late father was changed after much missionary work to become a fervent Wales supported at football and rugby Union. We are still here, a proud nation who doesn’t understand the meaning of the word impossible. Cymru am byth, easy as that and we a.ways remember we are from 🏴.
Might I suggest that instead of the Welsh national anthem they play this inspirational speech just before kick off. It would not only raise the players but the Welsh supporters too. I'm English and proud of our nation, but this put goosebumps on me and a lump in my throat. What a man! Wales be proud of who you have raised.

One after the other I've watched the Welcome to Wrexham episode covering the win over Notts County, watched the National Anthem sang at the rugby, Yma 'O' Hyd sang before the footy & just rewatched this. In tears, completely overtaken by pride for both my hometown & country that I'm honoured to say I'm from. I might be living away from home for uni, but I'll never be hiraeth {homesick} because I carry that pride and joy with me at all times.

Better than Henry V at Agincourt. Absolutely rousing. If that doesn't rank as one of the best motivational speeches I truly don't know what does. Rob Page might as well just play it before and at halftime for every match, cos no disrespect no one could do better. Even Shanks would applaud that, but he wouldn't worry he simply say least he ain't playing. Truly inspirational. And I am English but wish our team had that passion.
