In South Texas it will be in the 90's sometimes getting towards midnight. But usually it is in the mid to upper 80's at night in the summer. But, we'll have 100+ days for weeks and even months

I visited Florida a lot & I love it The only problem I have is that I can’t handle the high heat & humidity during the summers so we go during the cooler months

It's not just Florida that has disgruntled newcomers (NOT talking about ILLEGAL ALIENS). A few months ago, I read about some people who were originally from Kalifornistan who had moved to Charlotte, NC. The article said that they were moving BACK to Kalifornistan because they were disappointed with the lack of nightlife. News flash!! People in the South WORK for a living!!! They typically aren't out running the streets 7 nights a week because they have to get up in the morning. But go ahead and do what The Beatles sang about and get back to where you once belonged!
Maybe ... they should have investigated Charlotte on the internet and vacation there BEFORE moving. Those who voluntarily move to a place and complain were likely the reason the place they left sucked. I’ve had to move for work many times and regardless of how strange the new place initially was, I hated to leave when the time came.

Howdy and greetings Well, Texas is a great choice for many reasons. Mountains, ocean, flat land, rolling hills, way lower taxes. Money goes way further, a lot of guns and ammo, freedom from a ton of regulations that hurt people and businesses, most people work and work hard and give respect to each other, respect for elders, plenty of houses of worship of your choice, a lot of live stock, a ton of freedom, no state income tax on your labor of your own hands, speed limits run 65 to 85 mph. If you work hard, you can make money and build wealth, it's ok to have more than 1 gun, and more than 10 bullets or rounds , some have 10 to 100 guns and magazines of 20 to 800 rounds with special cylinders, and you can hunt and fish freely and you have real neighbors. I lived in Texas 27 years, and Florida a bit over 20 and other states. Florida was great, but way too many regulations and a huge tourist state. Texas is fantastic and just enough regulation and rules to stay safe and not burden businesses and the people to be free. Good day, Mate 😅

I'm from Scotland so an expert on bad weather. People go to Florida on holiday, from Scotland, because of the good, hot weather. Even us foreigners know this.
Speaking as a Floridian who has lived in Palm Beach county since 1970, ( 7 years old then) let me clarify on the people leaving Florida or at least, Southern FL. Many of these people are like my friends and myself who have seen skyrocketing rent, homes, land, etc. . Because people from NY,NJ, etc . are pouring in , and for many who have been here a long time, its overwhelming and really sad to see what was, is no longer. I'm still here , for couple years, then its off to the panhandle where I will miss my ocean terriblely ( im a surfer ) . None of this is Desantis' fault, he's a great Governor. Its just the friggin way it is . And its depressing. Too much traffic, my beach crowded at 9am , even on week days. I could go on. Thanks for reading my vent . 12:29

I'm not sure where you are in Florida, but I'm up on the Panhandle, and last summer, it was over 100 degrees every day for well over a week straight unless you mean at night. I think most of those nights dropped to the 80s, but a few of them stayed in the 90s. I don't mind because I usually feel cold all the time anyways and I was out doing yardwork in it all of those days. I'd come in in the evening and then notice my phone had sent me a heat advisory warning. I think two of those days, I sweat out too many electrolytes and had to find something salty in the fridge to get right again, but otherwise, I was fine. Something is wrong with me where I can't tell if I'm overheating very easily, so I don't really notice until I start feeling weird. Even then, I don't feel hot. I'm building a homestead, so it was pretty laborious work. Digging holes, setting fences, and stuff. Anyone who moves to Florida not expecting it to be hot isn't very smart.

Actually armadillos do not carry a lot of diseases they do have leprosy sometimes but I think I read that there's never been a case of a human catching leprosy from an armadillo! We love our armadillos shoot they get rid of a lot of critters that you don't want in your yard and they absolutely don't ever try to attack you or anything they're very mild mannered and they really do keep to themselves!

Traffic is horrible, as soon as i hit Palm Beach my one hour trip to Fort Lauderdale turned in to 4 hours
I call BS on this. I live almost 300 miles north of Palm Beach and I can make it to Ft. Lauderdale in about 4.5-5 hours any time of year. I've done it on all major holidays over many years as my wife has family there and we visit almost all holidays and long weekends.

I was born and raised in Miami, and I spent the last 20 years in Broward County. I was probably in that 500k talley. I was not polled, but my husband retired, so we sold our home for a sweet profit and bought 65 acres in another state and are living happily ever after. We still love Florida, I have a kid that has a house in SE Florida, a kid with a house in SW Florida, a kid in Melbourne, Florida. I am sure there are plenty like me that still love Florida and that still have ties to it.
