My roommate said literally 2 days ago, "What's stopping them from brewing splash potions of instant damage? They do 6 hearts of unavoidable damage." Man, he's gonna be so pleased to watch it when he wakes up.

Ngl Ant’s been carrying the last few games. Last game he mined them full iron at the start and then later full enchanted diamond. This time he had the winning potions.
Not really.... Antfrost contributed just as much as the rest of the group because they are given roles and they make plans on what everyone will do. The mining was just what Ant ended up doing, and the potions were given to him and that was the job he was assigned to. Just like everyone else. It is very organized

This extreme amount of variety and detail in the game mechanics is what's so great about Minecraft. I heard there was going to be a movie, and I think, that it could be really great, if the screenwriters are invested and interested in the project.

you can just tell how much the hunters are improving. especially sapnap. he does not back down from fighting dream. he’s the one hunter who can for sure take dream down in 1v1. yeah ant may have gotten dream in the end but you gotta admit that the two pvp battles that dream and sapnap had were so intense.
Sapnap is getting good and others but dream is improving too this is one of the best strats in minecraft speedran or manhunt i dident justs ee this in the comments but my dad said it when i was 5 years old apear weak when u are strong and strong when u are weak dream has almost no health still fighting and shouting come hear really is good srat to use ant keeping those potion was awasome acting as if he was gonna die but he had something at his sleeves he cam ewiht 3 potion and the portal they did a good job on that and ant almost killed dream at the start dont think a forgot the legendary lava battle of sap and dream sapnal almost killed him idk how dream got out and killed sap smart IQ plays by hunters and dream there 2-2 now its hard to win when there are 4 guys hunting u down but sap couod take down dream in a fight the thing is dream always tries to find a good postioning before he attacts but yeah gg that was the craziest and most shoking in manhunt and it will stand in history hoping for a grande finale to see who wins i liek dreams manhunt with his friends

I always wonder wat ant is doing every manhunt, he's always silently making op items for the team while the other 3 work on gameplans & hunt dream down. I didn't expect that ending but I'm satisfied with it honestly. That was a good manhunt. Very impressed with everyones gameplay this manhunt. Merry Christmas & have a happy New Years :)

as everyone knows, the best counter to a smart trap is spamming a potion attack that has been banned in PVP on most servers for years because it can instakill someone with full diamond.
@Jonas Grill I was just making a comment that that tactic should be banned from the manhunts, because it is SO ABUSABLE. It would make the PVP dull, boring, short, and just flat out unfair. Yes, it was very clever from the team, but they can’t use it again. I don’t think they will, because hopefully they recognize the level of power it has, but it is ridiculous.

@@trippymartian8847 yeah Dream talked about it in one of the extra scenes videos after a manhunt and said they banned a bunch of things to avoid stuff that kinda ruins it. Stuff like breaking the portal, damage pots, Dream’s fireworks, nether travel are cool the first time they use them but after that if they keep using them it just becomes dumb. It’d mean that Dream has to win before the hunters get Insta damage pots and find him, and if they break the portal so that Dream has to die to leave, it’s like an insta win for the hunters and it doesn’t make for interesting content.

@@ChronicalV I’m guessing about the pots, and he uses fireworks in the grand finale. Edit: I just re-read my comment from 2 months ago and I should clarify that thats all just me speculating. I dint know why I said fireworks tho, as it is possible to counter them. But the Insta damage pots there’s nothing in minecraft that can save you if it hits you.
@@JordynNexus you can counter fireworks? and you can counter 3 insta damage 2 pots with 3x prot 4 or 4x prot 3, or potion of turtle master but all of those are pretty hard to get so yea (and it leaves you with 1 or 2 hearts)

I love that Dream is able to acknoledge when his friends played well, praises them for good game plays/strategies, and isn't mean or mad when he loses after a good fight. He's confident and believes in himself, but at the same time he's realistic. That makes a huge difference.

Instant damage can be mitigated in exactly three ways -Armor with the Protection enchantment -Potion of the Turtle Master -Resistance from Gapples (Technically resistance beacons would work but somehow I doubt that anyone will be able to get a beacon up during manhunt)
I have literally sold my soul to this series keep doing more pleaase :)

For those of you who didn't understand what "Mushrooming The Portal" was or why he couldn't go through it, if you grow a red mushroom using bonemeal, it grows a large red mushroom. Where the Mushroom Grows, it deletes the blocks the mushroom grows into. The mechanic is used to delete end portal frames (like they did in this manhunt to disable it) to make sand duplicators or dragon egg duplicator. It is also used to trap the wither in an end gateway by deleting the gateway

Yeah I remember finding out how to get harming II. It’s op, it does like 6 hearts per splash and it’s even better if you got arrows dipped in it. They should probably remove it from manhunt though since they could keep reusing it and three shot dream no matter what

@@some_shitposting_idiot3023 I actually think they'd have to ban the use of damage potions for the series to go on, they can kill you way too quickly and there's no reliable countermeasure. Since Dream is at such a massive disadvantage to begin with, it's only a matter of time when the hunters become unstoppable. They've got more room for improvement, you know? More potential.

@@lred1383 I wouldn't say so. Dream hasn't yet mastered the necessary strategies to maximize his chance of victory. I think he can still evolve to the point of being capable of withstanding a 1v5, but that should indeed be his limit by this point...

I think the thing I find most aggravating about these manhunts where the hunters win is that, typically, the person who talks the most trash and pops off the most is George. The one person who typically has the most deaths of all the hunters, makes the most mistakes, and has often handed Dream the win because he tends to range off alone and winds up dying, thus Dream gets all his resources. George is also the most easily tricked and lured into traps, overestimates his chances, and puts too much stock into what gear he has as opposed to the skill needed to effectively use them. So often, I see George running at Dream with a sword when Dream has a shield. And the number of times George forgets basic gear, like a shield, only to run in like a fool is very high. Of all the hunters, I feel he's the weakest of them all. Sapnap is, essentially, the PVP master. His tactics and combat skills are the be feared, even in a one-on-one scenario. BBH always strikes me as the tactician and voice of reason, often avoiding Dream's traps and keeping George and Sapnap from running blindly into danger (Until George gets impatient for his latest delivery of resources to Dream). Antfrost has also proven himself a capable hunter, as he has fallen for the least traps of the hunters in most videos, tends to die the least, and has proven he's very capable when asked to get resources. The time he delivered diamond armor and weapons to the hunters in that one hunt was intense, if Dream didn't have invisibility. And then I look at George. He dies the most, loses all his resources all the time, and seems to forget the most basic mechanics at times, if not have the memory of a gold fish. I've seen him see Dream have things, like a fishing rod, and choose to stay back, but the moment Dream turns to run, George gives chase immediately and forgets what Dream has, leading to him being shot off cliffs or pulled into lava. He also celebrates the most minor of things. He hit Dream one time? He's all happy and ecstatic and popping off. Even if Dream has hit him four times in trade. He seems to not realize that he's not 'destroying' Dream all the time. You've only destroyed Dream when Dream is dead. When the hunters have defeated Dream, THAT is when you celebrate. Of anyone in these manhunts, the one with the least right to pop off at the end is George. I often feel like when the hunters win, they've won in spite of George, not because of him. The victory will be due to the teamwork of Sapnap, BBH, and Antfrost, with George very occasionally helping his team, but often helping Dream. If they ever wanted to reveal a plot twist that George was secretly a traitor the entire time and was rushing headlong at Dream to purposely die, I'd believe it in a heartbeat. As a person, I don't dislike George. His videos are very entertaining and I like him as a member of the team. But he's far too impatient and takes far too many risks to be an effective hunter. I cannot take him seriously as an opponent for Dream. Frankly, I feel like the team needs to take a step back and re-evaluate George's role on the team. NOT replace him, just figure out what his strengths are and how best to utilize them because, frankly, he's not good as part of the advance team, backing up Sapnap. The number of times he's outright abandoned his team and ran off, only to die because he's not paying attention to where Dream is, makes him unreliable, at best. If the hunters could find a way to make George a more effective hunter, it would make them all far more dangerous. But it's rather amazing how many times Dream has won because of George. Also, it would be nice if every battle in The End wasn't essentially Sapnap, BBH, and Antfrost fighting Dream while George is being chased by every Enderman because he can't stop provoking them all. And then he spends the entire finale screaming for the others to save him instead of fight Dream, often leading to distractions that let Dream snatch the win. Again, if he's a secret traitor, I'd believe it.

Fun fact: the instant damage potion does the same damage with a full Netherite set and without one, so Dream would die anyway...
protection is the only thing that stops damage from potions of harming, and even then they are good. Full prot 4 will make Insta DMG 2 deal 3(?) hearts of damage. Imagine that... Full P4 netherite can get down to 1 heart with 3 pots... Its insanity

@@mitchclark8848 Nonthey shouldnt, it took time and effort to make it happen, and they are pretty easy to dodge if you are expecting them and are not in a closed space... like a pyramid or something. But who would ever be stupid enough to follow a guy thats trying to murder you into a tight enclosed space like that...
