Yes but I must say I bought a gt bamboo years and years ago when they first came out, they where good at sending parts when they broke, got a solid 2 years of everyday pounding until everything slowly died still was very happy how much abuse the board took. I think they refined and changed it until GTR model, better boards will come I'm thinking more getting the second or third version of this board they release with maybe better slight improvements and longevity, might start saving we will see...
yup i bought my GTR Carbon like 6 weeks ago =/ Well all my friends love it so i'll sell it cheap to one of them and get the new one.. I need more power =)

Just got mine yesterday and took it for it’s first ride today. Absolutely love it and think it’s definitely worth it. I’ve had my og GT since they came out years ago. Coming off that onto the Hadean with that extra power is a great feeling! Might upload some rides soon. Thanks Evolve.
Whats your initial thoughts ? Finish quality checks out ? Everything aligned , symmetrical, and seems heavy duty ? Any issues with board or remote after your first ride or two ?
@@LORFCASTER nah it’s been flawless. Took it out for its second ride today and no problems. I slide the board a lot on street wheels and the first thing I noticed was the extra weight when sliding. Need to get used to it cause it’s a couple kgs heavier. I got the carbon too just so you know. Runs like a dream so smooth and quiet too. The extra power and top speed is more then enough trust me. I highly recommend it and the build quality with the lights and all the cool features has it second to none. So stoked with my purchase and will be taking it out for a first night run tonight. Oh and the range and charge speeds are insane too. Did over 35km of hard riding and hills. Got home and still had 55% battery. Stick it on charge and it was done in like 45 mins haha. I’m blown away with the whole package. This is a high standard board. PS: if u get one make sure you turn the speed limiter off. It comes with it set to 20km/h by default. I actually thought something was wrong and took me like 5 mins to realise it was the speed limiter on haha 😂

Im up on the Sunshine Coast ,just up the road, aussie companies and local backup support is a big factor and should be supported just like the good old old days , been surfing for 45 years, just did my shoulders in no more surfing for a while, just dam depression sets in when your body starts to wear out ,only thing similar to surfing is one of these boards, bamboo or carbon. im just not sure which one ... Just trying to justify the cost, thats a whole months pay, the joy and fun is probably worth it plus would help with anxiety and depression too, take you away from day to day mundane reality stuff and put a smile on you face.Cheers anyway for creating these fun things.

Here's what we know: Plus, Minus, Pros n Cons Bottom is a plastic Cover?? Compared to the Carbon Fiber on GTR!? Does the Remote have Odometer? Motor Reverse at Full Stop? EFOC Control (Regenerative Braking Control, via App) Added Vents (Now less water resistance?) Added LED Logo topside and strips underneath on front and sides Mobile App is getting much needed Update Motor / Range / Battery Upgrades Remote Remains 2 button No Gear Drive, Still Belt
I’m stuck on the part where you’re concerned about losing water resistance (implying their boards had much to begin with)

Was riding mine today and it releases a chemical in my body that makes you think you are super man . I am not kidding , it is fixing my ptsd as all my fears are just falling behind me and I once again psychological feel like I am invincible again at 51 . Most amazing board and I can not see how it can be improved much at all . Would could possibly be done to make it better? Direct drive maybe ?

As a carbon gt owner, i am afraid of that remote .too many cut outs and self brake lock ups other R2 and the original remote
Only time i had the brakes activate was due to an accidental touc. Under heavy acceleration my GTX in GT mode can cut power but thats likely due to my one bad battery cell.
I loved that my Evolve GTX got me back into e-skating after my first board from 2009 (Altered Electric). Interested in the price point of this new board, but I bet it will just push me closer to want a Kaly board. I will guess this will be priced close to the cost of the MetroboardX

@@blise518B lol who told u that?? even the gtr still kills most boards under 2000 dollars in acceleration.. 4wd vs an evolve. for sure the atlas. but were talking 2wd vs 2wd... look at the power output specs vs the atlas. no way the atlas has more power..

Hmmmm it's this new Hayden or just flat out buying a Lacroix. I'm partial to speed yes but what really matters most is battery duration. Forget how many miles it can go how long do the batteries last. So what should I do with my old GTR CARBON AT? Would you buy my old board back?
