You know a intro to Pier Paolo Pasolini or Federico Fellini would be great i think
On Pasolini it would be my dream, he is my favorite Italian director and one of the intellectuals I admire most. Fellini would be there but he is already well known abroad
Paisá is one of my all time favorite films: the final scene in which the leader of the partisans is shot while throwing himself at his hanged comrades in a last ditch attempt to save them always moves me.
his The Flowers of St. Francis is one of my 13 all time favorite films. I think he makes things perfectly clear in his historical films like Flowers and The Rise of Louis XIV. Better than reading 5 books on the subject.
Do intro to African cinema
But in all seriousness, would you ever consider doing a video about Powell and Pressburger?
Definitely, I love their films.
Trying to get into foreign films And would you consider southeast asia cinema?
Yes, I would love to do a video on Thailand or Indonesia at some point.
Please do a brief introduction to Uwe Boll
Ha! I'll add him to the list.
