LEGO City Update - Super Secret Police Riot Truck MOC 60008 👮♂️👮♀️🚨🏹
The Super Secret Police need wheels, and some pretty heavy-duty ones at that. After all, the public isn't going to oppress itself. So bring on the Riot Truck from set 60008 which I will convert to serve the elite needs of the SSP, including a full colour change, new wheels, new lights, new glass etc but also keeping the useful grab rails, storage and top hatch for launching heavy ordinance from. Watch out civilians, here they come!

This comment removed by the SSP for aggitating the peace and spreading misinformation. All is well in Brick Nottingham. Remeber citizens, 'Brick brother is watching'. - The Brick Nottingham SSP
War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength!
@oodBricks This is just a brilliant original Lego Creation with nice technique and Excellent use of The Lego Movie Aesthetics and I would love to see this on Rebrickable with Instructions in PDF Format to download and the GCPD will need something like this to be compatible with Lego Batman
There Is a peaceful protest against excessive government spending happening in BrickNottingham city Hey! Build the SSP riot van Mount the turret Load the bazookas And silence those who dare to speak out The new SSP range from LEGO City (Baseplates and ammunition not included) (LEGO does not support any situations your child may try to reenact with their building sets)
One shall not ask where the tax money went
Someone needs to make a real video out of that!
Maybe once LEGO would have made that set, but not today. Very funny comment!
@@RobinHoodBricks If you have any of the stud launchers in yellow, those would make brilliant X26 tasers, just like what police use in real life.
Maybe I shouldn’t have watched this before I sleep…the ssp sound keeps ringing in my ear lol
Wooowooo!
@@RobinHoodBricks 😄👍
The SSP Riot Truck will be perfect to use if things get out of hand at the Hook-A-Duck game. ;-)
You have them exactly right!
Maybe I should super secret police accessories
You should make a comically large cannon that comes out of the back
If that tile under the roof was replaced with some clips, you could attach another of those grills, like on the front of the truck, over the windshield to make it more resistant to ramming into things, which I'd expect the SSP to need the ability to do
I love the idea but I tried it and it looked a bit dark. Keep the great ideas coming though!
@@RobinHoodBricks I'll make sure to
Good to see the highly trained, never inept squad members of the SSP can wear their riot gear correctly, except the driver of course, as his helmet glass is upside down. Have you thought of swapping the back two white bars for black equivalent, would that work well with contrast?
Haha, the has hijacked fairground Friday on Bricks' youtube channel. Some decent and a nice ride . Ready to catch . Great build .
We need to lose an emoji if you want the Health & Safety police badge. Are any less useful? Either that or I need more members!
Hey Robin...You can put the SSP van chasing the 3 cars that were in a movie, you can make them chasing it because it might have been put up somewhere in Brick Nottingham and 3 thieves have stolen it.
Very nice MOD ! This vehicle could easily be one of the SSP originals sets. I like that you keep some functionnality like the roof hatch, it's very Lego-style compatible, unlike some army MOC that we can see anywhere. Maybe some suggestions : - About the back door, if you don't planned to use the 2 2x2 Tiles with SSP logo soon, maybe you could swap the Black 2x4 Tiles on the door by the stickered one and a another 2x2 black tile ? - Have you tried to swap some parts on the back of the roof to black ? I find it a little too white for the SSP. A riot truck ? Finally, all these white fences with "police" stickers will find good use ! Don't apologize, you don't owe us anything. ;) 3 videos a week is a lot of work !
Thanks so much, it is hard work but fun. I'll try the tiles!
Great little compact van! Good replacement for Fairground Friday!
I love the super secret police in brick Nottingham. The logo skit is so funny and I love the idea of incompetent officers operating heavy duty weapons
Yes, the heavy weapons are definitely required to complete the scene!
You really are devoted to your bits/sound effects (hot tea technique, and this one has well)....Also random, I had to recreate the girl with the Pearl earring in my photography class....
He didn’t add the SSP sound effect! They did!
@@mrstgladman8612 I mean yeah, but he edited those in
@@Imperialofficer07 you commented twice..... your third btw
@@HuntingPuma378 oops...I pressed publish once and like an idiot not thinking it went through pressed it again....just solved that issue now
@@Imperialofficer07 ok
My colleagues and I absolutely approve this Truck. A much needed addition to help the Super Secret Police -oppress the people of- enforce the peace back in Brick Nottingham.
Haha, thanks for your support!
i fondly remember 1665 except for the no legos thing
The publics not going to oppress it’s self is the best line ever.
Haha!
Good thing there isn't an SSP drinking game
Lol!
Man I forgot to finish this! Great build and one of your best (funniest) videos to date
Wow, thanks. I had good fun making that one!
She’s real fine, your 409, 409, 409. Nothing can touch her, nothing can catch your 409. Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up 409. Nice work Robin!
In the avengers tower set (76166) red skull comes with a big rocket launcher, you could recreate it and give it to the SSP!
Yes, I was thinking of that one when I was talking about the hatched roof!
I'm so glad you changed the wheels. The ones on the original lego model look ridiculous! Although not half as ridiculous as the first SSP Lego set you showed in the pictures, the muscle car type build - it carries on like 2 whole Bricks above the tops of the wheel arches before the windshield even goes on! Crazy design choice by Lego IMHO.
I agree. Sometimes I'm massively impressed by sets. Sometimes a lot less so!
@@RobinHoodBricks I like how you still interact with your audience even though its gotten pretty large! It's nice to see 👍
This is fantastic!! As a daftish idea - as the SSP are a bit... eccentric- maybe one could have a crossbow which would be wonderfully absurd 😉😂😎
A crossbow that fires grenades!
is the sound of the Awesome, love to see it stir up your city and cause a mess!
There's no situation they can't make worse!
Now you need to build a SSP headquarters that houses SSP personal and vehicles in the city.
I did a video converting the top floor of the new police modular to the SSP base with interview room and landing pad!
I feel like it needs an abundance of lights
Great job You should make a super secret Police car 🚓
I added the flying SSP police car to the roof of the Police Station modular!
Your videos always make my day! I love your lego city and I am excited to see it evolve even more! Have a great day
How about changing the first white bar for a black one or do it with the other two instead. So you have black bar with black background or white bar on black background etc etc.
A few years ago I saw one of these in action with about 40 swat dudes because there was a hostage situation in a local laundry mat with a tank like hatch on the top and some dude was up there with a huge machine gun I think it wild be cool if there was a hatch for a gunner up on top
You’re right
Love this moc ! Really like the super secret police sets ! They should do a run of just those with some new ones ! Would be great if Lego did a spin off line of just the super secret police ! Definitely sets I would invest in 😁
That would be cool. Still can't decide if this needs a big gun on the top. Maybe that's too much!
@@RobinHoodBricks I love it my friend I wouldn’t put a massive gun though maybe some kind of EMP net laughing weapon! Proper SSP stuff ! Something for those pesky robots ! Or maybe a trailer with little SSP exo suit on it ! For heavy engagements lol
Very nice super secret police truck Robin. Perhaps put a 1x2 jumper plate by the top hatch to attach some heavy weaponry
I'll need a bigger bracket than that, I think!
@@RobinHoodBricks ah maybe
Great video! Very funny, well done! 👍👍😁😁
Thanks. I never know if people will get my humour but I do enjoy doing it!
set 79104 ninja turtles has a great roof mounted gun might look good poking out the roof hatch. Love the riot ! truck get plenty of rays and vitamin D this weekend we want you to keep well ! your arms are getting browner :) this video was a nice surprise thanks !
I have a few of those spring loaded guns from Agents sets. Maybe a double-barrelled weapon!
Perfect !
Excellent... love these wee short vids. Nice to breakup the routine. Love the truck.. Can't wait to see it in BrickNottingham
Short? It's twenty minutes. Although that is short for me, I admit, haha!
You can build a cartoon bazuca and use some ultra agents and Star Wars blasters .
Oooh yes!
Hello. I really liked your SSP riot truck. If you could add 2 small details from the city set 60160 the windshield protector and the front bull bar from that set. Your SSP riot truck will look more purposeful. Love your videos watch them when ever I can.
Cool idea. Thanks for the support!
Where’s the SSP Health and Safety department vehicle? Jokes aside, its a great build, very cool. As a suggestion, if you have any antenna’s maybe add that to the roof?
Stickers might be tricky for the H&SP!
You should place the riot truck somewhere in the sidewalk with a flat-tire. I'm sure the SSP technology couldn't handle such an inconvenience.
I absolutely love the color scheme. It really does look menacing. Maybe if you have, switch the front grill piece with the black or white one :D And underneath the sirens on the roof, you can change the white 2x6 to black as well. Or maybe it's too much black and white. I dunno :D But very nice build regardless.
Great build as always. You could have the riot van down on the beech with SSP opening seven cans of whoopass up a poor stranded dolphin or beeched whale. They could also go apesh*t on the people trying to help the defenseless creatures too!🤔
Dark. I may have to pass on that due to the inevitable complaints. Keep the suggestions coming!
I agree with Robin. That does sound a bit too aggressive, even for the Super Secret Police. God knows why the Super Secret Police can’t help the community instead of hurting them.
Should have done this on Saturday/Sunday (super secret Sunday/Saturday)
great built, perhaps you need to add even more stickers in the future.. perhaps you can use one of those newer pieces from the fire department as a water cannon
So beatiful your track police
Muchas graçias!
Ablas españoL soy argentino
No. That's all my Spanish!
Hey, I replace the 1x4x3 bar with the prison door and cover the stud on the door with a 1x6 tile then add a prison window (connect by two 1x1 plate with horizontal clip) as armor for the windscreen. I think it is a simple modification but can’t find it online. You can try it out. The door is easily fall cause it is not fully attached by the bottom clip. I put blutack in the hole of clip and it magically hold better.
Blutac? Sounds like cheating, haha!
Fantastic work! I think you should put more grills on the front, maybe have ones 'covering' the front wheels. But really awesome, thanks Robin!
Great build Robin. If you don't want to go custom weapons how about some First order inspiration? What about the batons, shields and flame thrower from 75166? Or Baze Malbus's weapon from 75153. And how about a modified version of 75197 firing from the open hatch of the truck?
I love this nice conversion, especially since I have also a few SSP agents in my town.
Well, you can’t complain about the wheels. The build is based on a 2013 Lego City Set meaning that they are old styled, but since 2020, I don’t remember one time where that type of rims were used, but of course the tires are always used.
In that same year they also made the elite police Hummer which came with Chase McCain maybe the super secret police might want the Hummer
I'm fairly sure I have that!
Very nice van can't wait to see tbe obnoxious I mean appropriate weapon builds. Is there an SSP train in our future? Whoop Whoop 🚨 🔵
I hadn't planned on an SSP train, haha!
That’s a super secret menacing truck. The SSP at 17:11 his visor was on upside down. Could you attach spikes to the centres on the wheels to stop criminals getting too close to the truck?
Haha, spikes seems a bit over the top, but then again it is the SSP!
Exactly. We wouldn’t expect anything less from the SSP 🤣
I think the turret out of the hatch should be something like a 50 cal machine gun or a mini gun
Or even bigger!
Ok then maybe the BFG from the Doom game franchise
Boy turned into Austin powers
Thanks for watching!
A tool idea for the ssp is the big red key for knocking in doors
That is a fantastic looking truck. The black really improved the look of it. Very Cool.
The skin looks similar to the LAPD decals.
It's not a moc but a retexture of a 2013 lego city elite police van. Still epic nonetheless
Some people say mod, remoc, moc or whatever. If it ain't an official set I call it a MOC!
@@RobinHoodBricks Fair enough but cool video 😎
Might I recommend a Hummer,or a Dodge Challenger patrol car,Sherman tank, and or bartering ram tank
An interceptor with a wheel net would look cool
Sometimes I LOVE the SSP
I’m surprise you don’t got a million since your channel is amazing
Thank you. I keep growing but not as far as I might, haha!
Lovely build - Why not use, white grab rails in the white section and black in the black section!!
I refuse to watch this video.........................Until I watch the rest of the series. Your content is a great inspiration!
Quite a few people go right back to the beginning, and an empty room, to watch it all unfold. Welcome!
The roof hatch is a cool feature, maybe have one of the officers sticking out with either a special tool like a net gun or being unprofessional like a party girl hanging out a sun roof- with appropriate expression. Maybe the equipment for the hatch is attached to it somehow so it folds out for deployment when the hatch is opened. It could also be like one of those over the top villain weapons that fold out to get bigger and more menacing but still allowing it to fit in the space? Maybe see how it looks switching the side rails in the white section to black- they will stand out more distinctly and create a kind of striped effect when not being used. One way to do the front emblem panel without the sticker surgery would be to stick one of those plates with the sticker on an angled adjustable 2 piece. Adjusting it around could give the hood a bit of extra detail or maybe look like it has a souped up engine inside. For the flashy lights maybe having each pair rotated 90 degrees would look like they are strobing/rotating? Not sure if it would look good or not though. Though that does give me the thought that if they were on a piece being spun and viewed from the side at least it would give the strobe flashing effect which could be cool to add to something on the fair grounds. I also had a thought that underglow added to the bottom edges to show more of the excess that the SSP are known for might work and may help tie the vehicle in with the flying car they have. Another fake flashing light effect could be done on the fair grounds with partial occlusion, alternating brick colors and moving one section or the other.
This turned out great
Yeah I agree with you!
Major SSP alert! Major reckless driving reported by a big truck, driven by a guy with an upside down visor and loads of illegal passengers hanging on the side... Oh, wait... never mind, it's us driving for lunch at the food corner!
Haha, very good!
New police!
Woowoowoo!
Must say that that’s a great custom! I currently use the heavy van from the bank heist set (bulldozer robbery) as I can’t be bothered to build a custom, and oh my the 2013 museum heist stuck some real nostalgia with me, I remember when i first got it
Me too!
Lazer beams!!! 🤣😂👍
Hi there I just got an idea for an additional wagon on your super long cargo train. What about a SSP Prisoner Transport Wagon so that the Super Secret Police (woowoowoo) can transport those people they arrested around the city?
Not a bad idea, my friend!
Love it
Your first!
@@HuntingPuma378 oh yeah
Ooooh, a new "first" early bird!
That's a nice truck and i mainly use the 2021 Lego city police prisoner transport vehicle as my armored vehicle
Deffinatly looks better in black n' white!
Great build. I like how you stayed true to the theme and improved it. 👏👏
If mixed in some of the star wars weaponry, you would have some ridiculous ones for the SSP. Like the turret on the top of AT-TE (set4482?) would look fantastic on top of that truck. Or for a hand held weapon, give one of them the Mandalorian's rile from the trouble on Tatooine set or even some light sabers. Also, the ray gun from the ultra agent's set hurricane heist and Firefly's weapon from the DC batman Mech vs Poison ivy mech set... who doesn't love a flame thrower...
Yeah you should get more stickers so it can be labeled super secret police on every square inch. It's not SUPER SECRET enough yet 😆
Hmmm, maybe true!
This looks great 😀😀😀!!!!! After watching the first episode of Loki on Disney plus the super secret police remain me a lot of the Tva (time variance authority/ basically time police). A very flaud organisation with a lot of power and fancy weapons but can't deal with the responsibility and never question authority or rules. Basically complete idiots 😂😂😂😂😂😂. You should have a scene I the city where the Ssp are chasing some sort of criminal, maybe an alien from space police. Brialliant build 😃😃😃😃😃😃
Well it would be cool if you put a turret on top
I was thinking a bazooka out of the hatch!
Or a missle launcher
I was worried when I saw your mini figure next to the super secret police because of your comment about them. I thought they might have made you to vanish. Great video like normal. If you have next we off we will know what happened.
I'm still here, so far!
My only gripe with the build is the ramming... I mean bullbar on the front. Needs to be slightly bigger please :)
More spikes rather than less. Gotcha!
Looks really cool. Love the look of it. Only things I would change is the white plate on the back door to a black one and the two grey holders at the front for black ones, but otherwise it looks absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see the super secret police in action👍👌
I guess the police department needed some more secret police units
One additional thing to add is the 409 sticker on the roof so the support helicopter can keep track of it.
Yes, this!
That a great conversion you did for that vehicle! A color change can make quite the difference. Shame your not interested in 3rd party accessories like BrickArms, as LEGO hasn’t been using proper gun accessories lately. Although I’ve seen some neat custom weapon tutorials using existing parts online that could help you arm up your Super Secret Police 🚨 if your interested.
Yeah, in aware of them. I kinda like the challenge of creating some from existing parts but I don't want to get too real life military. Some silly big guns might be better!
try and buld a plane🚙🚜🚟🚦🚧🚤
😎 SSP truck build 🐈😸👍
Nice build Robin
You should add a "appropriately sized" missile on the top of the riot truck if you can find a way for it to not get in the way of the hatch
How about adding the large number 409 onto the roof too as I think most normally do so the police helicopter can instruct the correct vehicle below.
Gonna do that, thanks!
@@RobinHoodBricks I'll keep an ear out my baadoing! 🤣
You need to have like Star Wars rifles so like chemical rifles
Or something even bigger!
The ssp could be going and beating up the weird unicorn gymnast or arresting police officer for fake reasons like eating donuts on the pavement is against the law
Brilliant! Love this
Thanks. I still feel it might need a big gun on the top!
Great job Robin, this looks totally swoosh for sure! This looks 100 times better than the one from the set. No biggie on not making a fairground Friday video, I like that you break it up, keeps it interesting. Fantastic video my friend!
Much appreciated!
How about a grenade/smoke grenade launcher. It can be a rebuild of Junkrat's grenade launcher from 75977.
Is bricknottingham's sherif the head of the SSP ?
I hadn't thought of that!
Another great build robin👍👍
Amazing as always!
Hi Robin, this bad boy is looking very good as always, really looking forward to see more of the SSP (maybe their HQ), I hope you're gonna be using some of the official Lego set (they just look so good). Also I have a few suggestions to make, first for the lights I think you should put all the red ones on one side and all the blue ones on the oder instead of mixing them, and also what about putting some SSP agents all around the city (hidden in buildings, cars or on top of trees) and give them microphones and cameras like if they were looking for Dr inferno.
You need to check out my SSP converted police station modular including interview room and landing pad!
Oh yes you're right totally forgot about this one
I really like this I might borrow this idea
Go for it. There are SSP divisions everywhere. This is 10th Division!
Woah!
The guy with the scared face should be the lead guy holding on to the truck. The reason he looks scared is bc of how they are being driven at break neck speed and near misses.
I love the secret police
Great build but I feel that you should change the grab rails on the white section to be black to continue the contrast of the white rails on the black section, and to make them more defined
