#ShondhaTara is a Bangla Bandish with a twist of new-age music. Bandish means ‘Binding Together’. And this song talks about the magic in the unison of two different worlds, even though they are poles apart. The intertwining of classical melody by Sunidhi with the contemporary tunes of Arnob reflects the magical coexistence of two hearts, that defy logic like #RealMagic
The original lyrics of the part Emon-o Hereche are an inspired Bengali version of ‘Main Waari Waari Jayogi’, keeping with the singing style of Agra Gharana, set in Raag Emon (Raga Yamana). It was written by Ustad Vilayat Hussain Khan under the pen name 'Pran Piya'. The song is penned by Divash Krishna Biswas. We again see the genius of Adit Rahman shine through, as he weaves different worlds of music in a single universal composition.

  • কে বলেছে সন্ধ্যাতারা সুন্দর হয়নি? সন্ধ্যাতারা একদম সন্ধ্যাতারার মতোই নিখুঁত হয়েছে । গানের কথাগুলো অসম্ভব সুন্দর । শেষ এক মিনিট কতবার যে শুনেছি তার হিসেব নেই । অর্ণব হাতে মাইক নেয়া মানেই গানের কথায় এক মায়াবি ছবি আঁকা ।

  • সুনিধির আসলে কোনো গান আগে শুনিনি। এতো অসাধারণ তার গানের গলা। আর অর্ণব দাদা তো একটা কোহিনূর হীরা। বিশেষ করে গানের শেষে দুজনের হাসিমাখা মুখের অংশ টা অসাধারন ছিলো।

  • Hope everyone loves the lyrics. It was not an easy job for me. Listening the tune of ''main vari vari jaungi pritam peyare'' and writing the song without ideas of agra or indian local language, was a tough task. But God helps me completing the classical part with some exuberant words. The lyrics of the contemporary part ( Arnob da's part) is a classic modern Arnob genre's tune, was also a hard pen for writing. But at the end, everyone of the team loves the lyric as it is. I am really blessed that my lyric is playing on Arnob dada's voice. Sunidhi didi has just provided us her charisma. Thanks to the good listeners and the whole team and musicians of coke studio bangla.

  • এক বান্ধবীর স্টেটাস থেকে গান টা শুনতে এলাম। রিলিজের 8 দিন পর শুনছি এটাই আশ্চর্য লাগছে। 3:55সেকেন্ড থেকে অদ্ভুত ভালো লাগছে। এইজন্যই এতো ভালো লাগে ওপার বাংলার সুর আর উপস্থাপনা।মধুমন্তি ও তাহসানের শোনো গো দক্ষিণ ও হাওয়ার পর এই গান টা খুব ই ভালো লাগলো। এইভাবেই এগিয়ে চলো ওপার বাংলা আর তোমার সুরের মূর্ছনায় মুগ্ধ করতে থাকো❤❤।

  • I loved the way Sunidhi is interacting with all her co-artists. What a respect! Very few of them have shown this on this stage. It's a rare thing to witness! Sometimes I came back only to watch this, honestly. IT WAS a team effort and she acknowledged it. This is what a heart of an artist should be like, broad and pure mashallah. This is one of the greatest fusions in Bangla music industry, I would say. And the twist that begins and carries on from 5:50-Ammmmmmmmaaaaazing!!🙂

  • Since the first season, I have been waiting for Sunidhi to perform and finally, it happened. Her voice has this soft texture with soothing tenderness that makes you so at ease, so uplifting to cherish your soul. This time she did also a great job with her vocals, at the last part of the song when they bind both vocals at the same time, that's where they create real magic.
