I genuinely teared up seeing Agnetha take the stage again after 20 years. Her voice has been my absolute favorite ever since I first heard it when I was 12 years old. This whole video is pure happiness.

See how she is not wearing in ear monitors. Her ability to hear herself perfectly and hear the band playing behind her without monitors is something only exceptional old school musicians can do. This woman is a living legend. You can see how genuine her smile is as she sings and faces the audience; the stage welcomed it’s true queen back. Long live Agnetha ❤️
Well she is only singing live in the verses not the chorus😊 She told (Aftonbladet) Sweden’s biggest newspaper this after the preformance.
@@jaxnasstrom Maybe, but it doesn't take anything away from the OP. I guess they used a lot of voices for the chorus or she overdubbed her voice, like during ABBA time.
Are you a musician? On stage you can barely hear yourself w/o In-Ears or Monitors. There a plenty of monitors on stage, incl. Teleprompters.

It's exactly as javier writes. There are a lot of monitors on stage, but as soon as you move away from them and at the same time you don't have IEM, the brain has to calculate the delay over a distance of 17 m. And this great experienced singer can do it. Please do not forget that ABBA worked the most at a time when microport / 1980 / was a novelty and IEM did not exist for a long time.

You know what? You’re a piece of human garbage. There is not a single video on the internet where someone (usually a man) decides that they need to comment on a woman’s appearance one way or another. No woman can exist without it happening, no matter how unsolicited or irrelevant it is. Either calling her ugly even if she is natural, raving about the unearned privilege of beauty, ragging on her for getting plastic surgery after having been insulted for her natural looks (and for daring to age) OR lauding a woman for simply not getting surgery or procedures and putting other women down in the process…at the end of the day a woman cannot exist without you still making it about their LOOKS and setting some bar they must meet which pleases you, always comparing them to each other so that some know they’re less valued than others. You’re the reason why women get surgery to begin with. You’re part of the same problem or avenue that you seem to look down on. POS.

I think this is Gary's finest achievement ...... persuading Agnetha back into the recording studio and back onto the live stage where she looks so happy. Never thought it would happen again.
Well, this was for a BBC charity event for kids...in 2014. a couple years before the 50th anniversary of when Bjorn and Benny first met, in 2016. I think the decision to record again happened after the 2016 anniversary.

Agnetha is now 73 years old since 5-4-1950 she was born in Jonkoping Sweden…. As well depends what year that song came out too and way I even ❤❤❤ it myself as I was also a ABBA fan in my early teens (I became a true ABBA fan when I was around 13-14 years of age)… so my favorite singers of ABBA were Bjorn and Agnetha!!! Now I am a “””” 60””” year old I still ❤❤❤ ABBA……so I’m hoping to make some friends who also ❤❤❤❤ ABBA and CELINE DION…,,Grant & Forsyth…. Shaun Cassidy and Baccarra fans As well I ❤❤❤ is Die Flippers( a German band)…..Rex Gildo…..Roy Black….Costa Cordalis….all of these men are German singers from the country Germany!!! As well I don’t mind is the Dutch group Luv……Pussycat where they had 3 sisters in the band they sang was “”” Georgie””” and Corrie Konings…the belated Arne Jansen…as well Koos Alberts and Albert West ..Guys and Dolls So please please please do become my new friend in fcbook As well I am sincerely not even looking 4 a another reason not even 4 a toy boy and so on as I rather remain single…. This is her first appearance for 20 years. They recorded this duet masterpiece separately, and did not meet each other. This is also the first time they sang it together LIVE, and i must say it stuck to my ear and loved the song instantly. ❤️

yes my sentiments entirely yes she is superlative in own right. Agnetha did admit in loose women interview in 2013 when she came to England that she went for singing lessons again. I was surprised why would she need vocal training again after year of experience her last album was in 2004 and until 2013 when she recorded the duet with Gary Barlow she felt she need to retune her vocal I would imagine,

A lot of this performance is playback unfortunately but there are sections that she sings live. It's very recognisable but even so, it is still beautiful to hear her sing live again!
I think her mic was off until 2:03 when you can clearly see she starts singing, then they open the mic, and then she has that O.o look.
