I discovered your music a couple years ago and loved the fusion. I showed him. He enjoyed it a lot and we were able to share something. So, thank you for helping me get closer to my dad before he passed.

Moonlight Sonata is my all-time favorite classical piece. Your version is amazing! Original version sounds like a sad but joyful, hopeful piece to be played at a celebration of life service for those who have made plans for an eternal destination with the Lord. This version might be played to celebrate one's arrival in Heaven.

This isn't the normal remix you find on KZhead - Lionel has brought a whole new level to music and I'm sure Beethoven is proud of him. I mean, not everyone could make the audience stand up and dance on a piano performance! Keep the hard work up!!!
I’m amazed and absolutely speechless, been re listening this performance for past 2 days. Goosebumps each time, I can’t even imagine amount of emotions I would bear if I was sitting in this concert hall. Next time your in London I’m 100% getting tickets

Lionel I am so happy for you that all the years of hard work are paying off for you ! I've been a musician most of my life, but not even to close to your level, but I do know we share the magic that music can bring (those special moments where the sum is greater than the parts?). I really like your approach of adding the "new" to the "old". And have EDM as part of your classical compositions. So I wanted to make a suggestion, not sure how you would do this, but I think Rob Swire (Pendulum, Knife Party) is unbeatable when it comes to dubstep or modern day electronica (yeah I'm old lol). I think if there were a way for you two to meet, and see if you hit it off or not. Cause if you do, I think you two would compose some amazing music. I think Rob has created THE all time best drumstep song, with a Drop nobody has duplicated. I don't think there's a drumstep/dubstep song that even comes close to: "Pendulum, Witchcraft Rob Swire Drumstep remix". (make sure the subs are hooked up and the neighbors aren't home lol). But maybe you are already familiar with him, I just thought I'd pass it along for your enjoyment if you hadn't. Well just a thought, always like seeing "the greats" hook up and create even greater magic together, and think both of you are at the top of your 'respected' genres. All the best with your career, it's nice to see real talent still appreciated these days in music. Peace my friend.

To be able to create more than what the original music sounds like, to bridge that gap between what was and what is now. It is a huge task and quite a challenge, something I also do as a pianist. It's a fun challenge for me and I'm so happy that you are also doing this. You're quite amazing. I've been playing piano for 50 years, and you're quite an inspiration to me! So thank you for that!

I love hearing classical music updated well, to be appreciated in terms of how we listen to music today. Typically my favorite is hearing classical pieces played on electric guitar, but this is absolutely a standout.

This is by far the best sound quality of your interpretation of the piece. I would even argue it’s the best remix of the song to date. One thing that really left me wanting more was the presence of other musicians on stage. I had really hoped they would come in at some point, though orchestration at that level is beyond my comprehension. They clearly admire your creation; it would be amazing to hear their instrumental contributions. People love this song so much, that you can just keep raising the bar with further adaptations, eventually becoming famous for inspiring what will inevitably become a new sub-genre.

NGL, I'd be pissed if my seat was directly behind them. They're being assh*les to the other patrons and they're distracting attention away from Lionel. I just got through seeing Yuja Wang in The Netherlands back in May and nobody felt the need to be an assh*le at her concert.

When did people in the audience ever jump up and dance to a classical piano concert? Your Moonlight Sonata Remix is virtually a trademark of your music, ability and creativity. Only minus: The captions in the video are really annoying and distracting. Would have done better without them, so as to enjoy this iconic piece without mental interruptions.
