I don't know who this Big R tree service guy is, but I want to work for him. He seems cool as heck! I love these traveling videos and seeing how guys like Raul do their thing.
Gotta say, Jake.....I like your channel even better since you've been on your own. Always cool to see you working with different crews and how they do things. Keep up the good work and stay safe, Kats!
Raul sounds like such a good guy. I’m nowhere near Washington, but I know who I’d call to do a job for me.
Yeah he sounds like a funny hard working guy
Raul and Freddy are straight up kings 👑
Little tip for the echo 2511, the pull cord handle is designed to open the fuel and oil caps. Great video as always man!! 🤙🤙🤙
He knows already about the cord. Randy his helper told jacob about it and posted a video on instagram.
@@JOEJOES4CR4Raul used an Allen key to open it so it's a useful tip. Plus, I didn't know, but I didn't need to know with my little electric Makita.
Damn, that's cool. Thanks!
I just love the way your buddy's speak so highly of you, it puts a smile on my face, knowing I stuck with your channel because I knew you were one of a kind kinda guy. Much love. Afriend.
The editing between cams is amazing. Great work as always. Fun Watching pros at work!
Glad that your company and the channel are going so well dude!! You deserve it
I swear man, I alt tab out of something and start watching one of your videos - thinking, "I'll just watch a couple minutes...no big deal" - 3 hours later...I'm still watching. Something about you guys cutting down trees is mesmerizing. Great channel :)
Glad you enjoy!
I still haven't forgiven you for the Kale Catastrophe of '23.
What is this catastrophe you're referring to?
He dropped a branch in a garden and uprooted a kale plant.@@alotl1kevegas860
“Oh no what have I done”😂
Poor Kale never saw it coming. R.I.P.
🤣🤣🤣
Enjoy watching you rig one out. Fun to view two nice guys working together. Thank You for posting these videos.
Thanks for the mention, lads 🤝
I do learn stuff from you in every video. I see your video post, & I have to instantly click on it. Very entertaining, every time.
Awesome! Thank you!
Man what an awesome removal with super cool guys. Love it!
Always cool to see you working with different crews and how they do things. Keep up the good work and stay safe, Kats!
I loved this video 😍 and love the person you worked with he sounds so chill…. If you do any other videos with him please share…. Seems so awesome & down to earth.
"If they pull out the cucumber you better run" No truer words have ever been spoken!! LMAO
That's so true about your videos inspiring and are always my Go-to if I'm not shore on the safest way to do something. Thanks for helping this Kiwi out !.
That saw sounds awesome and looks like it is handling well. Thank you and have a great week.
nice job jake, i was laughing when you said "are you ready freddy" lol then i was like oh crap the ground mans name is freddy lmao great video
The pull handle fits in the fuel and oil caos on the 2511 so you have something to open it with easier
Really enjoyed this one! Great team work guys.
Made it look easy as always. Great team work! 👍👍
14:30 “No que no Pinche Freddy” killed me😂😂
another awesome video Jake. hats off to Big R too
Love my 2511 too, so light 😊 sweet trick with the alpine butterfly, thanks!
great job dropping the tulip popular tree. neat dark heart wood in that tree. it was neat how you were able to swing the limbs in to the drop area. what skill with the tools.
Great video! Nice crew you were working with!❤❤❤
Tell your friend that the pull start handle open the fuel and oilers caps took me a long time to learn that.
08:17 "I think I 'NEED' one" 😂 WANT one you mean! That's you convincing yourself to buy one - love it!😎
Nice work, well done on the 1 mil subs seem like only yesterday you were at 500k
These Big R guys are great! I love that you worked with them again. Raul (sp?) seems like a great guy to work with.
Really enjoy your channel! That is a knarly tulip poplar, we have them in Alabama but they have really long pole with a few small limbs at the top. I use it for kindling.
One of your more complicated falls; interesting and educational. Rich
Every time I start a video I'm afraid its going to be Kale 2.0. I paid for my whole seat to this video, but I'm only using the edge!
19:48 on jobs with a tight drop zone and house drops and com lines take a throw line and pull them as far back as you can and secure them for the job . It can help give you just what you need!
Good Job Jake! As always!
Use a dish soap bottle for your Bar Oil and it makes list of a mess easier to put in and the little top handle saw they are designed to where you can use the pull start handle to open the caps
Excellent Video Jake !
Love the videos. Just watched your video with game of trees and love seeing you and the other channels collaborating with one another. I would love to see you go climb with Tree Climber Harry it would be awesome!!
39:55 Those LogRite tools are excellent, but for the larger diameter wood they make a bigger hook - you can put it on the smaller blue handled tools, or they have a thicker walled tool with a yellow finish that is stronger. With the bigger hook it's easier to get a bite on larger diameter wood. The "Mega Hook" can be put on their 60" peavey, which makes a very useful tool.
Always interesting to hear about the names trees get in different countries or regions. I only know this tree as Tulip tree, whereas you call it a Tulip Poplar, despite it being from a different family of trees than poplar altogether.
It's the same thing with Chinese Elm on the East Coast.
@@ryanarboristI thought that was.
I’m in the southeast (GA). We call it a tulip poplar or just a poplar. I have some HUGE ones on my property. One in my backyard that’s easy 40” in diameter.
@@macgyver03gathe stump is 40 ft wide?
Be careful of that carabiner swinging into a window! Ive been there before haha. Great work! Saw you worked with my coworker dean a few weeks ago. Surprised we havent met/worked together yet. Im in your area. Stay safe bro!
I liked the 1rst person shooter video game filming technique. LOL You planning a video game to add to your growing business empire? 😉
They are called Cascade hops for a reason!!! Cool collab!! Don't mess with snow!
That looked like fun work Nice job
Go Fantastic Freddie go
Great video. Im a new subscriber, enjoying your channel. I heard win a chainsaw and started looking at the description etc. There is nothing I would love more right now than a small chainsaw to cut firewood on my farm here in northern Alberta Canada. Thanks for the content 🪵🪓
I just ordered a ported 592 from RipSaw. I’m can’t wait to get it!
Great video
Nice work very professional climber
Great job disecting that tulip. What did use to record the end footage when you felled the tree? Idk if it was my phone or what but that was really crisp.
Tip. On the 2511t. Put switch to off pull out the pull cord and the handle fits upside down perfectly in the gas and oil caps to help loosen them.
Awesome video and people. Love the video brother, more like this.
Love tulip poplars, very pretty tree
Another great job
I love Redbeard’s echo, it works best with quarter pitch
butt puckers when he cuts near his climbing ropes
Totally awesome 😎
That was fun video to watch and there were lots of good information! Oh hey is your patreon account dead?
Those little Echos ported are badass little saws
That saw is awesome 👏
The 2511 caps are a pain due to the concave shape of the cap. The fact that it's not flat, and shaped as such, provides a negative pressure gradient. The saws' only flaw, in my opinion.
Hey Jacob.... seen as you sell the oregon nano bar kits, retailer here in the uk has them, though apparently the kit doesn't fit the 2511 properly. The plastic worm gear tabs need to be modified to fit the nano spocket, is that the same for you over the pond?.. as it does look like it runs well on that saw, I use the panther 1/4" at the moment.
Hi Jacob! Another great video. Is the giveaways world wide? Greetings from Norway
My 024 sometimes has really hard to unscrew gas or oil caps but just need a flat head
Decided to play a drinking game; take a shot when ever Jake says "We didn't use the GRCS once".... I died from alcohol poisoning😂
Ayy we had a huge tulip poplar removed on our property a little while ago! It has some nice green heartwood and I'm sad I couldn't keep any of it
Scary close call in a giant Tulip Popular once. The wood fibers like to pop and split when cutting on those long horizontal limbs.
Wheeling and dealing atta boy Jake. Make that guap
T540i caps fit well, i have them on my 2511t's And fyi, a muffler mod and proper break-in and retune, they wake up a lot over out of box performance
have you tried the Dewolt bar and chain oil yet i hear its realy good to use
For open the echo fuel cups you can use the start handle it's more fastern than find the screwdriver
Imagine being in that apartment looking out the window while that branch flew towards it lol
Cool vid man!
I like that Raul, do they have a channel as well?
I really want one of those little Echo 2511s but in the rear handle version 2511P.
Triggered climber here...there's no such thing as a "tulip poplar". Tulip trees are just that: tulip trees. They are of the magnolia family and not poplar at all. Cheerio! 😁 p.s. damn man, your 2511T RIPS!!
Hey, Jake, how are you? You're husky 540 mark 3. Does it idle OK for you or no. God bless buddy stay safe
Idk if the guys at Big R use ethanol free fuel? But, the first saw I had was an older poulan and if I used fuel with ethanol the cap would swell and become very difficult to open. I would have to open it, drain the fuel and let it "dry" for a day to get it to fit right. Idk maybe that will help?
When doing contract climbing jobs, how do you charge or set the rate?
I’m saving to buy randy from the sappy store almost there
🤣🤣🤣
I ment to ask you a couple videos back but did you have to have a cdl for your bucket truck?
congratulations on Your 1million Subscriber's here Comes 2 3 4 5millions
Btw, the caps on the echo can be opened using the starting handle
Tulip trees can be fun to cut because they make weak saws look strong and strong saws look like harvesters. My only concern with them is that I have to remember to respect the fact that their brittle nature means they have a tendency to snap much earlier in the cut compared to other local species. Many people call them "tulip poplar" here as well. The wood gets insanely light when dried, it isn't really structurally strong, but can be good for siding, and it burns really hot for only a very short time and then it's gone. I have trouble calling it a "hardwood". We need a new classification called "deciduous softwood" for tulip trees and "evergreen hardwood" for fir.
I like this big R guy
@37:27 is the fastest cutting saw I have ever seen!!!
If you had to pick one new saw to have for an all around firewood saw, what would it be?
Excellent
That echo is almost as cool as the chainsaw chainsaw.
You should do a review of a echo 7310p
Weird that the capstan cares so much which direction the rope comes in and out. The exact same ones have been used on sailboats for decades and none of those ever had rope guides.
@28:50 when you let your intrusive thoughts win
Caleb. If Festool makes a miniture Festool tracksaw look-alike a pizza cutter, when is Husky coming out with their pizza cutter? Or just go with the 540i XP?
Was the stein device designed by reg Coates ?
Use the 2511 pull cord handle for fuel caps.
that rope guy is really good
Pls make a video about identifying Washington trees, I’m up in snohomish. Gb
If you ever feel like a work trip to North Central Idaho, I've got two co-dominant Ponderosa Pines with your name on them!
@zytekfan Where in Idaho are you? I run a full tree service out of mcall and we love co dom pondos lol
