Fun fact: Max and Alex didnt drove 1 meter in these clips, it where two young testdrivers who did the recordings. The only time Max and Alex did drive, was on the New Zandvoort circuit!

That was because Albon would have dived down the outside on a bend and cut Max up, probably wrecking both cars!

RBMH yet again delivered big. A beautiful country to showcase indeed. I only have stumbled upon and admire Holland thru TV features or film most recent of which is Deuce Bigalow 2 so quite a nice decent addition the one that got featured here with Max and Alex very wholesome pair.

Robert R Often teams will have an identical looking car that they put a less sophisticated drivetrain in just for filming publicity and marketing events. It’s much less expensive if anything breaks, and much more practical and less temperamental

i love formula 1. my dad got me into it (and rest of my family) , started really watching in 94 when jos started when i was 12, (before that i remeber my dad watching it while i made f1 cars out of legos) also was a really sad year and will never forget it. it became a passion in our familly and even a tradition. im so gratefull when redbull gave max the oppertunity and faith to give him a seat. when i was a kid i remembered thinking when the news said on TV that jos had a son, we actually thought "wouldnt it be amazing to see him in f1 in 20 years" and it even happend even sooner! my dad came down with cancer, but feel so happy we still got to experience toghether when max won his first race! my dad who obviously watched f1 longer than i did. i remember watching at him when he crossed the finish line , tears in his eyes, and so did i. it ment so much, all we wanted for Jos to happen too , but now happend to his son. maybe sounds weird, but was one of the most beautifull moments in my life and i will never forget it. my dad passed away a year later.... but we still try to get together every race when we can, knowing how much he would have loved all the other wins max had, or any race for that mather. my dream is to see max,redbull and honda get that championship. i hope me and my brother and my mum get to experience that together , cause i know how much my dad would have loved to see that

That would be hella scary and dangerous. These cars don't work upside down. So you would have to speed up, drive a ramp or somthing to get the car upside down sticking agains the roof and then before the car falls (low speed, is less downforce) drive onto another ramp to get back to normal. I don't see them pulling this off
I like how the engine software to check everything is fine is partly in french (Renault engine) but the livery was fixed to have Honda on it

For all who want to know about which car they used for this: I'm almost certain it is the 2011 car, the RB7. It is for sure a V8-powered car, so it definitely is pre-2014. The cars had stepped noses both in 2012 and 2013, so the RB8 and RB9 are out. This is the iconic beast better known as the RB7.

Sometimes they use so called “frankencars”, these are cars with components from different generations. It could be an 2012 car with an 2011 nose for example.
