Burning Man Highlights 2022

2022 ж. 4 Қыр.
1 060 054 Рет қаралды

60,000 people returned this year for a week in the desert with no cell service, public trash or money changing hands. Amazing, over achieving artists set up large-scale sound and interactive art installations-many of which were burned. Black Rock City, NV is an ephemeral town that exists for only one week each year, during Burning Man a radical gathering. experience. Soundtrack by Super Duper

    • @@bootylatuttes1607 Well I can't speak for him but I feel like I never really noticed people filming when I was out there, and I don't think they're doing any close-ups on faces, most people wearing sunglasses and looking different than in the default world and with the way it's edited I don't think folks are too identifiable and so I think it's cool because I really enjoy these videos every year that I can't go or don't get tickets.

    • @@carmensandiego7749 wouldn’t you feel less free if every camp had a sign “video services in use 24/7” what happens at the burn can follow you forever. Not sure where your camp leaders work but mine work at NASA and I’m sure they don’t want photos or videos of them doing any of what they do at “home”. Remember home can be different for everyone. You wanna take photos, I wanna chop people up on insta live, I’d like to have organ camp where we harvest organs of kids that are irresponsible…. Yet burning man won’t let me do most of those. Including taking photos but hey not like anyone could find you off playa. But if everyone has the right to do whatever they want. Well let’s say organ camp is a go supported by Carmen San Diego ;)

I highly suggest looking at regional burns, they're all over the place, much easier to do and afford etc, and it's the same community, usually minus the negatives you hear about at BRC

  • This is a beautiful video! I went to a lot of the LA and SoCal Festivals from like 2010 - 2014ish and even a couple of Burning Man events in SF. I thought I was over any scene that could ever resemble a classic West Coast EDM festival. But this is clearly way more than just a music festival, it looks like such a celebration of humanity and art! Idk if I will ever make it but this video is just so beautiful and I’d be wayy more interested in going to Burning Man than a regular EDM festival. I got so caught up in my life that I almost forgot Burning Man existed until it got caught up in the news and my friend sent me some videos of it this week. Now I’m in a KZhead rabbit hole watching videos like this!

It's really is a magical area if you ever get the chance to go, it's always free camping the rest of the year. There's also tons of smaller regional burns, I suggest you join the Facebook page and look into it, no one ever regrets it. By the way, you know how people might say "it's ten times crazier than it seems" just as a general phrase? This statement is meant to be taken as a mathematically correct observed fact- the main burn is 1,000 times crazier than it seems. Not ten, not 100. Even 1,000 is a likely underestimate

  • There's time and place for freedom and fun for sure, I appreciate how much work and effort had gone into organizing and constructing this place for people to gather. One reason this was a big event for people is because it served as paradise of freedom, esepcially after our idiotic government locked everyone down for a prolonged period. That being said, I personally think events like this is a cesspool for lost people, not all but a majority. Not even sure why this went on my algorithm but I clicked on it and few other videos out of curiosity. You look deep into the eyes at a modern man, straight into his soul (or lackthereof) and you barely see a man, but an overgrown child whose adolescent years is extended into his adulthood, overstimulated from lack of structure and discipline, disguised itself as freedom and open-spirited.

    • Not really…. I rented a bunch of times to go there and never detailed. I do expend some time at a self car wash place and get it decently clean, and that seems to be good enough, unless you are returning it really close to the place where they are looking out for it to charge people extra

  • Looks great but I'm glad I made it out this era in life. Sad seeing 30/40s ppl still stuck in it but hey.. to each their own and go out with what you like doing ...at the end of the day Work > play These people want to escape reality so bad
