During my junior year of highschool my welding teacher was the sick teacher x10. One time, I showed up to class with the teacher standing outside puking with the nurse next to him, and I had smelled something that smelled like sharpies. Turns out paint fumes had gotten into the AC system and it made him extremely sick. Had to be taken to the hospital. When he came back, he had a bunch of respiratory issues but he pulled through until one day when he stopped showing up. He ended up taking the rest of the year off because he just wasn’t well. I feel bad for the guy plus he was great. Fortunately, last I heard of him, he is doing better.
