As person that likes more dark colors and more realistic style, I think the right one is better, but the way that the left was painted was, in video, really more cinematrographic and created a really good atmosphere.

It’s like the early versions of anime where it’s less shady, a little rough and wispy with tinted color use vs the remastered releases that make it look very smoothed, clean and with a solid color palette with higher emphasis on shading.

Both are really good. It seemlessly adds to each other. As one comment posted, one was light and celestial and the other dark and vivid. It created a concept of seemless beauty in art between the two. You both share the same passion and it shows!
