These location tours feel like I’m speaking with a GTA realtor- I love them! The auto shop is also the only place that many people have access to all of the paint jobs, so I don’t mind my Burton location being so close to the pay & spray. These tours are great! You’ve gained a new subscriber 😊

Well, a little bit of both, but primarily I'm on the PC. I still have my PS4 membership for now, so I meet up with friends to play there a little. When they all go to the PS5, I'm not planning to buy one so that's when I'll leave the PS4 entirely.

@@mikeward1701 In fact it doesn't matter which auto shop you previously owned and which one you're trying to relocate to. I even proved this bug was happening on both the PC and the PS4. I sure hope they fix it. I tried to open a ticket, but I kept getting an error message from RS social club and it wouldn't let me post the ticket.

I've tried a few different locations for each property but usually come back to the one i had :) and i like to see how other players have their locations mapped out. You are like me, you like some parking space at your businesses. I always like to land my Molotok wherever i can, usually not in anyones way :)

I was thinking of getting the one on Burton and this video solidified that decision, although, I think I'll stick with the free Strawberry location for now. Looking forward to the video on the interiors tho!
That video is on the way next!! That Strawberry location is pretty great. I got that one for my other character. If you do trade, be sure to watch the trade-in value when you move. As I mentioned in the video, I don't think that's working correctly right now.
Glad to see you validate my choice in the Burton shop, it seemed the overwhelming majority of people have been purchasing the La Mesa shop but it’s lack of a proper parking lot despite being the most expensive bothered me.
I totally agree with you. I have no clue why the La Mesa shop is the most expensive. I can't see any scenario where it would be considered the best or most desirable location overall.
@@Champlette2 It’s because everyone thinks you need to be close to the LS Car Meet & La Mesa is the fastest, straightest path to it. They bought it before they knew anything about anything. Just assumed the 2 properties were linked to each other & needed to go back & forth between them.
I was hoping you would post this! Excellent work as ever, Champlette. It's between Burton and Strawberry for me, Strawberry currently being free with Prime. Burton's on the same drag as Lombank and my Rockford arcade, wheras Strawberry is a straight run to the car meet and my vehicle warehouse in La Mesa. Hmmm...
Ah.... choices. The other advantage of Strawberry is having a customs shop for any personal car in the middle of southern LS, besides the fact that it's free with Prime. However, it's hard to pass up that Burton location. I love it there.

Once I found out you don’t need to be close to the LS Car Meet, I picked Burton. I love that street. Glad I finally have a reason to be on it. Plus I love how relaxed the auto shop business is. It’s the perfect retirement hobby.

@@Champlette2 Yea, I’m still trying to figure out the cool-down time between customers, how to maximize the bonus, & if the 2nd car lift is worth getting. So far I added a few extra customizations, but did not get any bonus. The most I’ve been paid is $40,000 ($20,000 profit) & I’ve done 3 cars. 4th customer seems to be taking forever to arrive idk why. Waited 2 hours & 20 mins from my 3rd customer (from time of sale) before I went to bed. I’m guessing if I buy a 2nd car lift it will cut the cool-down timer in half?? So far none of the business guide videos out there have answered any of these questions. Maybe you can make a video if you figure it out.

Welcome back. Hope you've been good. Well, I went with Burton. Originally went with Strawberry due to being free and good location. But traded for Burton and got 1.1m back ( from old upgrades at Strawberry )
You're preaching to the choir on that one. I love Burton too. Everything I want to do is close by. On the other hand, if I had to pick a different Auto Shop, I'd probably choose Strawberry. That's a really good location too.

Oh hey wait!! Did you already move yet? As I mentioned at the end of the video, I think Rockstar is ripping us off on the trade-in values right now. You may need to ask them for a refund of the trade-in value if you had upgrades in your old auto shop and you didn't get the trade-in value for them when you moved.

The black style with orange tint looks so good, glad i went with that one. Though it'd be nice to see what the other ones look like. I hesitated between strawberry and burton, i chose the latter. I like that location, the palm trees and space for vehicles in front sealed the deal.
I am working on that video right now. Sadly I couldn't show every style with every tint (that would have been way too long and would have cost about $20M to make!) but I did take a good look at all of them. Stay tuned!

Got the one in Strawberry and I am pleased with the location and have been able able to land a Hydra right next to it.
That really is a great location with terrific parking. If I wasn't so invested in the Vinewood/Rockford Hills area in my businesses, I would definitely like that Strawberry auto shop.

I picked the Burton location love the building, second option was the La Mesa one cause of the garage next door...really wished we had more garage space in this auto shop so I could put all my tuner cars into one location.
Oh yes, I have the Supply Street garage too, and also Unit 2 Popular street just down the road. That would make La Mesa a great location to store lots of tuner cars!
there are so many high-end apartments near Burton autoshop. Or you can just drive 30secs from the office and/or nightclub (if you are settled in Del Perro or Vinewood) which you would store most PVs.
@@dkersoy I own a high-end apartment in Del Perro (Del Perro Heights) next to my Lombank West office, both the high-end apartments Weasel and Richard's Majestic, Integrity Way, the Alta apartment, Penthouse in Eclipse Tower...a Stilt House in the hills and downgraded my 8th high-end apartment for a single 10 car garage near the Car Meet.
@@deangelostrachan1709 ok. i have many properties and all businesses as well. my point is, yes it is an advantage to have a garage next to autoshop, but Burton has that advantage even more, in a better way imo. Just as in your example that you have many props close to Burton.
@@deangelostrachan1709 By the way, I once had La Mesa autoshop then moved to Burton short after. I bought La Mesa shop the 1st day the update came so I didn't know how it would work out. I just thought the shop being close to LSCM could be advantage. And as it is the most expensive one, one can easily think the business sell missions would be mostly near La Mesa. However, no, i didn't find it that way. After completing a few contratcs and vehicle deliveries, I found out that La Mesa neighbourhood doesn't have much advantage. Besides i've never been into racing very much; I'm rather a heist guy than a car guy; so being close to LSCM didn't matter much for me. After 1-2 weeks, I got bored of the area and moved to Burton.
Hello Champlette2, it has been a while. Honestly, I was looking forward to watching this video since the DLC came out. As for my Autoshop Location, my favorite one is Burton. I like the way it is designed and location is decent. Furthermore, it's close by my apartment. The only cons for Autoshop: .Sessanta and KDJ act out like they own it, even though *WE BOUGHT IT* with our very own money. Honestly, both of those dumbasses are the most annoying people I've ever met. Not to mention they treat us, as if we were noobs. .Staff members, do not even know how to drive (as Sessanta sends us a message telling us any car we fixed was bumped up by them). Anyway, great video. Keep up with the great work. I can't help but feel relaxed whenever I watch your properties videos.

In fact, I'm working on that video right now. With 9 styles and also 9 tints, there are way too many combinations, but I think I've got a way to show them all off pretty well. Burton is probably the best for missions since it's the most central location for all the delivery missions... but I have to pick Strawberry, because it's so cool. Strawberry is surrounded by ammonation, car wash, simeon, benny, "the club", armwrestling, clothes, Lamar, Gerald, it's all there, and I never visit that part of town. The exterior of Strawberry looks awesome too, very realistic. Furthermore, Strawberry is in the exact middle of all 3 LS Customs in Los Santos so it puts another car workshop spot on the map. Lastly, it's a very straight road to reach the very-nearby LS Car Meet from it. And another straight road to reach the very-nearby Arena Workshop too. For these reasons I think Strawberry wins.
Excellent reasoning. You've made some great points. I had Strawberry for a while and it really was a great location. I only moved to Hawick because I had more businesses in that area and it was more convenient for me.

5:10 Actually you can use the flat roof of the 4 storey building next door, because there’s a fire escape at the front that goes all the way down to ground level. It’s extra climbing time, but the bright side is that the roof is large and has zero obstructions, so parking Cargobobs there is a piece of cake.

i agree Burton is the best. initially i had bought La Mesa, later moved to Burton.
I own Burton on my PC account and I own Strawberry on my PS4 account. Burton is absolutely an outstanding location, but I must say, I've found a lot to like about Strawberry too. However for my needs, Burton is still best because it's so convenient to my nightclub and my arcade.
@@Champlette2 similarly, my main char is settled in winewood. i started a new level 120 character, just to see how it goes. In fact i was planning to settle the new char in downtown or south LS, however i am still leaning this one to settle in Winewood as well. (so yes, Strawberry also seems nice if other businesses are in downtown or south) After a few cayo grinding, i was free roaming for deciding business locations for the 2nd and so i needed to see exact location on youtube again. And I encountered your video. For me, it is like autoshop pays 300-400k where cayo heist pays 1mio per hour. If autoshop did pay a little more, maybe i would quit playing Cayo which bores me from time time.
@@dkersoy Once you get to a point where you have enough money that you don't have to worry about it, you'll have a lot more fun doing the stuff in the game that you enjoy the most rather than what pays the most.

My favourite would be the Burton one if it wasn't for the fact that there's no way that the interior would fit in the building and it's also clearly a furniture shop with tune ups written on the side
Great point, many of the interiors of properties are nothing like what you see outside. It's funny how the insides of the arcades are all the same but the garage doors face different directions on the outside. That's supposed to be a basement garage, yet the garage door and the main entrance are on the same level on the street.
This is a very good video, GTA youtubers are usually hugely obnoxious and sweaty with clickbait titles and intros. You seem to be the opposite, I just wanted to see each location and the area outside and parking is a consideration for sure! Thanks for making the video.

I had often just wanted to find useful info about apartments or other properties and I couldn't find any videos that just stuck to the facts. I also didn't want someone telling me which one I *should* pick, just tell me what's good and bad. So, that's why I started making videos like this because I couldn't find any. I picked this location because it's next to weed and nighclub. It's also a nice place to spawn in a clean area in the middle of the map. I don't like ghetto areas.

Ur wrong with that there is no helicopter spot on la mesa cauz there is no ladder cauz there are two ladders one of them to be seen in your video as well ;)
That's true, there is a ladder on the front and on the back of the taller red brick building next to the auto shop in La Mesa. You'd have to land a helicopter on the top of that 4-story building and climb up or down several fire escape ladders. I suppose that is a workable solution, but unfortunately not a very convenient one.
Offtopic: I'm having a hard time justifying buying businesses when it's only purpose is to grind, but playing the Cayo Perico heist makes doing any of that obsolete.
Honestly, that's one of my favorite things about GTA. There's something for everybody. Some players like me may only have 15 or 20 minutes to play at one time, so I leave my game online and I stop by to sell a bunker or a nightclub when I have a few minutes to play. The Cayo Perico heist is a lot of fun, but I can get burned out on it. I like to mix it up with the other businesses.
@@Champlette2 I know, i also try and mix it up. But then i think to myself why am i doing this. It feels like a waste of time, because when i have more time i play the heist and the reward is so much higher.
@@MenskFCDH True, the Cayo Perico heist is a great payout, but this is a game and it's not entirely about money. Once you have enough money to be able to easily afford to buy new cars or properties when they're released, grinding for money (even if it's doing a heist) isn't as important. Have some fun and do whatever you enjoy in the game, whether it pays the best or not. Sometimes I like to just walk behind the NPCs and listen to their random conversations!
@@Champlette2 Hmm. That is also true. Maybe i should look at it that way. I was thinking to myself what am i going to do in this game when i have enough money. I guess just playing mp missions and have fun is what i need to focus more on instead of the payout. Thanks!

Do you mean you don't see them on the Maze Bank Foreclosures site? If so, you need to go visit the car meet in Cypress Flats. Once you've gone through those cut scenes, you'll be able to buy the auto shop.

@@Champlette2 I been playing alot of ps2 lately so I went to GTA online and looked at prices and I was like fuck this, games are so grindy these days
