I would never ship a lava lamp when I worked in a thrift store a customer broke one , the smell of the liquid was so bad we mopped we tried vinegar We tried industrial cleaner. Absolutely nothing would would get rid of that smell we opened all the doors customers left it was making them sick Now I wonder what I breathed in?
My mother in law has those pink fish and they have bubbles too.

The bubbles are missing from the bathroom fish wall hangings. The indigo small pitcher was very pretty. I'm definitely going to check out the Springs Persevere.
I am a shut-in and I shop on Goodwill on line. The new CEO (2-3 years ago) is separating salt and pepper shakers, dish sets, all kinds of things then marking them up to retail price. I think his orders were to make more money or else! On line is reasonable, but the shipping and handling will eat your lunch and more. I set a base S&H price and stick to it. I think about how much gas it would take to drive to the nearest Goodwill which is 50 miles from me to buy the items I am wanting. This makes my item not cost me anymore than I would spend if I shopped in person. Otherwise, Goodwill on line is a wonderful website.
I'm so tired after a long day, but I watched and enjoyed the video. I'll have to watch the replay of the live tomorrow. It's playing on my laptop now, but I have to get some sleep.

I must thank you for mentioning that Goodwill lists a lot of their jewelry on the website. I’ve been regularly searching the site for silver jewelry and finding some nice pieces.

I found a Betsy Johnson bracelet in a jewelry surprise jar.. what a chunky bow bracelet! But it is stretch and the elastic has worn out, should I as a jewelry maker, restring it???? It will just disintegrate and fall apart...
Not that I'm a professional, but my vote is yes, re-string it. Or else sell it at a lower price and make sure the buyer knows they will need to re-string it 🙂
Restring it and disclose that you did so, but ask for 80-90% of the original resell price.

My area Goodwills stopped having the color of the week. With prices so high, shelves are full. People have stopped coming as much

They want $1.99 for Dollar Tree glasses. Thoes blue glasses were Dollar Tree. Tat is upsetting when they do that. Modern lava lamps are not as good as the one my aunt Ruth had. That is a vintage springbok.

Do the sniff test on those leather wrapped animals. I got an elephant that I didn't notice a smell in the store but when I got him home into a smaller space....no bueno! I ended up throwing him away.😒

Okay I'm trying to find the niche network but I can't find where it says you can shop or buy things do you have to tune in at a particular time when you're live to buy things only?? I'm confused.
Under this video (any of her videos) is a link in the description bar to her collections that are for sale. I think to access via lives you have to use your phone and scan a bar code for individual items. I just go directly to her collections using the link as I described above.

Why? The butterflies are protected and fed and people learn to respect and love them!

@@TheNICHELady they are not doing what GOD intended, stops migration and they are captive caged OH my .. average life expectancy of a butterfly is typically about three to four weeks, with the smallest species having a lifespan of only about a week. Many only live for 7 days. Imagine being in a box. It is horrid.
It's not a box. Who are we to say it's not what God intended? He gives knowledge to create this habitat so these creatures can learn to be lived and cherished. How many people now go and grow butterfly gardens that nurture untold numbers? Have to be open to different perspectives 😉

I really dislike how Goodwill uses that tape to bundle dishes, plates, etc together, as from my experience the tape will pull off the gold or silver trim on the edge of the plates. I have had that tape pull the finish off of frames and a very nice wood jewelry box. Not happy that Goodwill cant seem to come up with a better idea. Have you had any issues with this or any secrets to removing the tape?
Try a hairdryer - the heat can loosen the tape a little and sometimes avoid the damage you describe.
