MISS UNIVERSE 2023: My EPIC experience at the FINAL Coronation Night | First Time at Miss Universe
Miss Universe 2023 just had its final competition and coronation night and I made a whole vlog about my experience since it was my first time at the beauty pageant.
During the Miss Universe 2023, we had many surprises and during this vlog, I'll share with you all the entire experience from the audience's perspective. Everything is here! From the Introduction and Opening number to the Swimsuit competition and evening Gown Competition. Of course, I am also sharing with you all my reactions to the Top 20, Top 10, Top 5 and Top 3 announcement + Question and answer segments. This vlog wouldn't be complete without the reaction to the Miss Universe 2023 coronation moment!

Among the last 3 standing, there's no doubt that Miss Nicaragua is the winner. But if Michelle got into top 5, that changes the game. Bias aside, I think that Michelle deserves a higher placement based on her overall performance.

The Philippines evening gown is so immaculate, regal and iconic! It’s befitting the crown and a victor but I’m seriously baffled on how in the hell didn’t she make it to the top 5 at the least? I have so many questions! Her preliminary performance and her finals both the swimsuit and evening gown are phenominal. She killed everyone in the evening gown showdown. She aced all of the segments! Something is not right here. She’s the epitome of a transformational leader that the organization is looking for. She bagged three awards and her credentials are solid. I guess they did everything they could to prevent her from holding that mic. She would’ve demolished them all.
As a Nicaraguan I can say that I do believe she should be in the top 5 instead of Australia.. but overall am very Happy for Nicaragua bringing the crown home for the first time in Miss Universe history.. Side note I was also shook that Miss Honduras didn't make it to the top 20
Simple.. The judges deliberately made sure Phils won't make it to Top 5. They knew how articulate Michelle.. So their candidates might not win if Michelle would be in Top 5

In the background of the coronation, we can see Anntonia being led to the back almost immediately after the announcement, and also Michelle comforting Anntonia and having their moment. ❤ So Philippines & Thailand fans need to support each other too!
Did she got mad or had a tantrum? I found very rude of Miss Thailand to left the stage right away, she did not even congratulated the new Miss Universe as a courtesy!! 🙄

@@jhennessyde-la-fuente7193no she didn’t. she was obviously sad and michelle’s the one who’s closest to her so she immediately went to mich to hug her and comfort each other. there’s still a lot we don’t see on tv so you can’t say she didn’t hug sheynnis and congratulate her if the tv cameras stopped rolling and you didn’t see it naman.

There’s only one thing I’d like to say. For those people who said Philippines don’t deserve to be in top 5, let me tell you this: Philippines will continue to send strong candidate so you people will continue to get threatened every effin year!!!! Those top 5 had easy questions but none of them gave a very impactful strong answers. What do I expect? This top 5 was a free pass. Ms. Philippines should be all the way to the crown....the way she performs... She was always on the top... delivering quality, uniqueness, grace, and intelligence... The Q&A will be a piece of cake for her. She is a sure win if she was given the chance.
Im from el salvador and i knew Nicaragua was going to be in the top 3 she's just freaking beautiful and smart but i swore Philippines was going to be there too oh my gosh i was so surprised to not see her in a higher group... for me it was nicaragua Philippines and Venezuela all 3 the most elegant beautiful women from all 84!! but i don't know what the judges look for during this pagents.... 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

The Top 20 was really great, honestly, there was no big surprise among them. Michelle deserved atleast a spot in the Top 5, along with Venezuela or even Peru.
MMD will always be a well-loved Miss Universe Philippines. She did an excellent job - outstanding SS performance, stunning gown, solid advocacy & strong leadership skills. I cannot ask for more. She is my Miss Universe with or without a crown. 👑

best edition so far... the girls are high class contestants, the event production and video edits were amazing, the sequencing executed very well. MMD also surprised the Filipinos with her awesome performance, but Nicaragua really stands out since prelims. Dom Rep performance in the prelims gown competition made her weakened her edge, another El Tocuyo. I think the nation of El Salvador surpassed the 2018 edition of this pageant, world-class.. super amazing!

We need a clear statement from the Miss Universe Organisation on why there was a mistake with their affiliated Miss El Salvador social media’s Top 5 announcement. A woman who has garnered a Voice for Change Gold Award, Top Fan Vote Award & Spirit of Carnival Award in a competition should have deserved a higher placement. We have been gifted with one of the best transformative woman that ever walked across the universe to claim her fate. Her journey will be remembered 🖤
One thing is for sure, Dora set another standard in Philippine pageantry and it's difficult to follow her step. From preparation going to El Salvador to her dedication on representing us Filipinos in Miss Universe MMD, we are so proud of you, you gave them a tough fight.. ❤❤❤

If you read between the lines of the message of Paula Shugart during the preliminary night, one can see the real reason of her resignation as the president of MUO. Probably it is one of the reasons why the stars didn't align for Michelle Dee. The credibility and transparency of MUO is deteriorating. Miss Nicaragua is deserving to be the Miss Universe 2023 and it is her destiny. My friends and I were rooting for either Miss Philippines, Miss Nicaragua, or Miss Puerto Rico to win that night. During the EG competition, Nicaragua & Philippines made a mistake in the blocking. Instead of making a left @ the center of the stage where there is a star marker on the floor, they both walked straight to the front, made a U turn & turned right to exit.
even after the top 5 qna nicaragua was supposed to return from behind but she walked infront so thailand had to wait until nicaragua settled which is why they called her to come forward twice!:)
