Unless I’m mistaken that’s a Java Finch; they’re incredibly social birds and tend to be very interactive with both their own species and other animals. This lady gave him pretty much the ideal life with lots of socialisation with other finches as well as other animals to explore

For anyone wondering, this wonderful bird finally took of to build a family. It's a good thing, even though sad of course for the family. If you're on the Island and a surprisingly tame java sparrow lands on your head, maybe it's him 😄
That's both sad and the absolute best possible ending this story could ever have. This lil dude flying free to start his own family, like damn, that's the finale to a heartfelt classic Disney film. Bittersweet, leaning heavily towards the sweet
We raised a wild baby duck and re-wilded her once she was able to go out on her own with her duck kind and it was very rewarding to see her with her own family swimming on the lake the next season. She was the only survivor from all her siblings. Her mother was drowning her when the neighbor resued her and gave her to us.

@Carl Ferrigno Hahahahahahahahaha!

The most overused comment on this channel. Please stop!
@Carl Ferrigno If so, that's pretty based honestly, little do people know, socialism with chinese characteristics, helps out the little guy with businesses, and breaks up monopolies, I'd say China is doing very well for a socialist country. Obviously though, socialism isn't the best system, I personally like syndicalism and corporatism better due to it being class cooperation and not class conflict.
@Carl Ferrigno not classic vintage disney though.
I feel like she did everything about this rescue, precisely how rescuing a wild animal should be done! Beautiful story!
Yes i am glad you mention that. Any wild baby animal should not be taken without a thorough research for his parents, and again on several days. She did exactly that, what a great person.

That was the sweetest thing I've ever seen in my life. I had no idea birds can imprint on humans. And I love how she let him live with his flock in nature and how he comes to say hi to her every day.
Yes 👍❤️
I used to have a goose who had imprinted on me. I was holding the egg in my hand as she hatched and squiggled out of the shell. She slept in a flannel bag on my chest for the first 2 weeks of her life. Then she slept in a plastic box next to my bed until she had all of her feathers and needed to move to her house in the back garden. I would call to her every morning and she would call back to me. We were inseparable for several years. She was like a dog or, frankly, a jealous girlfriend! She would not let anyone or any other animal get next to me. Then...one morning...she didn't call back. I was devastated. I knew. So yes...birds can and DO imprint on their humans. And when they do we humans are the blessed ones.
A lot of the local wildlife sees us the way we see neighbours. (I'm thinking urban feral pigeons.) They usually know us well and often know exactly who can be trusted and who can't.

Kyiv stuff....I do avian rescue in Australia. I can tell you why the bird looks so beautiful. It is living wild and thus despite artificial foods it also has access to its own 'wild diet', lives among wild friends, has strength/stamina and good muscle development, has exposure to natural climate. All because the friendship of the human did not take away through caging and exclusively living in a house all the natural needs for the bird to have a healthy life. This is how if humans want privileged friendships with birds is how it should be. No cages, no house confinement, no cutting of flight feathers to rob flight, no taking away bird friends and if you live like this you are rewarded everyday with a companionship life with a bird that is pure and free. What a wonderful video. I have a 'beautiful life' myself living with birds in this way in Australia.

@@ShankaraOm Nah, I used to think that as well, but its not the scent. Songbirds like this don't have that great of a sense of smell. Alot of times its the parents seeing the 'predators', aka humans messing with their nest
@@atypical140 While that can be true, it doesn't happen every time. I think if the chick is returned quickly the parents will still care for it, but if too much time has passed they will abandon it.
@@atypical140 It’s more about the amount of time the baby is out of the nest and whether the parents knew they were missing. Of course they can smell the human but it doesn’t overpower the scent of the baby being their offspring just by picking them up to put them back in their nest. A bird typically knows how many chicks they have so when one falls from the nest that one is counted out after so long, when it’s clear it’s not just hiding under its siblings.

There are these interactions going on it’s just a lot of people don’t film it. There are millions if not billions of kind caring empathetic people in the world, and the other kind, instead of saying we need more of this or that in the world, which highlights the negative, saying I’m going to be more connected with the nature around me, even city bird’s will hangout with you if you feed them and leave out fresh water every day. I leave water out, and change it daily, and in warmer weather refill it many times a day, so I have a lot of bird that I coexist with, I only occasionally feed them, but they live here and roost in the tree’s nearby and in Spring they all breed it’s beautiful.

this really makes me miss my Bird that passed away last october, I've been feeling lonely since she's gone.. but I still love watching other birds loving a human, it reminds me how fun it is to connect with an animal :)
What a wonderful life. I’m moving my business of 40 year with a lot of things up in the air, and this was the breath of fresh air I needed. I smiled the whole time. Thank you.
At least 77 persons who've watched this video were having seriously bad hair days and couldn'ttell the like button from the dislike button. Indeed, this is one of the most heartwarming bird-human relationships I've seen. What a joy to have family like this. ❤
This is sheer bliss. So good that you understand and bond with other critters.🤗😻
Hello, how're you doing today...
Oh my gosh this is absolutely adorable!
