  • I have been watching movies from Alter short movies channel. Days ago I receveid this video as recommendation. From now on I have been addicted to this director (Ridder) and producer (James) and all crew. Congrats for these short movies, which are like cinema classes of filming and screenplay. Your movies say everything just showing patientely parts of photographies (by metaphors, metonyms), also teaching us many lessons. I am subscribed for sure. Perfect work.

  • Well thanks so much for destroying me. That's a compliment, btw. I didn't expect this. As a person who lost my love tragically, this has brought out every feeling. I didn't know what this film was about. It's rather incredible, and I thank you for exposing the loneliness and loss one experiences, many experience, on their own. You want to scream to heaven and hell till your throat bleeds. But it's not proper and we’re told we must move on. Thx. Bc many of us can't.

  • The Mother: I feel the letter left by the Mother is cruel and self-serving? Her Daughter is never going to forgive herself? Her Mom popped in unannounced, letting her Daughter assume her Parents were fighting? When Mom's motives were to die there? And create last memories. For who? For her Daughter? Terrible memories of her Mother dead on her Kitchen floor? Of her Mother cleaning her home when she was dying? Of her Mother making a dish of noodles she liked as a child? But not anymore as an adult and too swamped with work and stressed out to be hungry? That memory will be her rejecting her Mother? And that was a cruel thing to do. We aren't supposed to know the day or hour of our death and neither should anybody else if we choose not to reveal that information for our own reasons? Maybe as a Parent I think that I wouldn't want to manipulate my Children or guilt them into spending time with me? I wouldn't want them sad either? I dont think I'd leave them a letter or note like that? I have pre-written a letter for each of my three Son's letting each one know they were my Favorite! Each one is loved and my Favorite for their own special reasons and personalities. I've kept memory books of each Child my oldest is now 42 with 3 Son's of his own, My middle Son is 37 with two Son's and a Daughter and my youngest Son is 35 with a Son and a Daughter. They were the happiest time of my life and owe me nothing at all.

    @Prof.Tarfeather@Prof.Tarfeather Жыл бұрын
    • It was a story. Calm down. The mother didn't want her daughter to worry about her, she just wanted to spend her last days with her. Nobody is telling you that you have to do what she did, and nobody asked you to comment on her decision. But since you feel it appropriate to be so intrusive, I think it is cruel for you to write a message to each of your sons telling them that they were each your favorite. It's a meaningless lie. You can just tell them that you love them and leave it at that. Try staying in your own lane. I know you won't.

  • For Psychosis, I have a strategy, since there's a chance (2%) that he won't commit suicide from Psychosis, he can order the ai to put the gun next to him every time he wakes up, so as to tempt him into suiciding with the fake gun that wipes his memory, and keep repeating that until he reaches that 2% and doesn't kill himself

Or was it just some guy who wanted to join his class, to jearn English.. and he accidentally hit mr. Robertons wife? I was confused as to whether the ending meant the asian guy committed suicide or not? It seemed like thats where it was going. Amd the teacher/mr. Robertson ran to try to maybe help or talk to him? It was very sad. And i really liked it. But i wasnt sure if i understood correctly or missed something.
