Another house design we thought we would share with you, built in the Plains but doesn't need to be here, It will suit most Biomes. Has a fortified bottom part made out of stone where we used as a workshop and storage area plus house theme and design on top.

    • Yea was happy to see this video, it was released right when I decided to build my next base in the plains. 7:17 us about the base I can picture doing something for the third floor. I've watched a lot of their videos, and can at least get the third floor. The fire inside the build is the hardest part. There is the outer stone perimeter which I have been able to drop a hearth in on, so there is that.

    • @@lscamarocgm it depends where you build, whether it's close to a spawn or not. I was able to build a fairly large stone structure to protect me from any nearby enemies pretty quickly, maybe less than 1 in-game day had everything I really needed for the farm n all, once the walls were up you can go about your business usually.

  • The one thing about your builds I must criticize is how you do your floors. Suspended floors would always be done with the support beams running the shortest way (i.e., across the width, not the length). Wooden floors in the game have a support beam visible on the underside, and thus the planks would be running the length of the structure leaving this support beam running the width. Switching up the direction of the floor pieces may create interesting patterns, but it looks wrong from a structural standpoint and looks very odd from the underside.
