He says that just as much effort goes into acting in a mocap suit as in a costume, if not more, because you don't have the luxury of being in costume on a fully realised set, and instead you're clad in a silly-looking suit surrounded only by cameras. Others point out that there are entire teams working behind the scenes to translate raw data from a performance capture into believable scenes, and so they too deserve recognition. Either way, what needs to happen is the Academy needs to start taking performance capture more seriously, instead of brushing it off as CGI nonsense.

    • The thing is, it was clear from the start that things were gonna end up like this. This is due to the fact that the UK is geographically in Europe, and therefore most of the trade is gonna happen in Europe. If you put up barriers, it's imperative that it will affect trade with the EU. Therefore, for the economy to not suffer a heart attack, UK would have never completely left, it would just make it seem it had left the EU, so most of the voters would have been fooled by such move.

The Remain status quo team was Cameron who started austerity and modern poverty, and Clegg who betrayed every single Lib Dem manifesto point by helping the Tories gain more than a decade of unchecked power. Meanwhile the left wing under Corbyn quietly supported Brexit, but also refused to challenge the government in their supposed role as Opposition. So remember: the left wingers, socialists; revolutionaries and right wingers came together to say "no more neo liberal status quo", not some scheme abusing the poor uneducated voters who just need to be told how to vote properly (as that university professor famously stated right before voting day. Stay classy Remainers!)

  • I was a child when I first saw the Lord of the Rings, and Gollum sort of frightened me. Now, I'm all grown up, and this f**king terrified me. Either this is drawing on some primal fear inside me about our current political climate, or Andy Serkis has really evolved as an actor.
